1st: 3331 HORN, Miss Karen & HOUSE, MX Alex Mochras Mahjesty

Happy and outgoing 2 year old bitch. She is of a nice overall size and very feminine. Liked her head shape, showing a nice dome to the backskull, and good length to the foreface, with lovely dark oval eyes giving a gentle expression. Having enough forechest and depth, a little tied in at the elbow, well sprung ribcage, and moderate in her hindquarters. Moving out with lovely drive and at one with her handler. Coat is a touch softer today. Sympathetically handled and well shown – Best Special Beginner

Lovely red wheaten dog coming up 3 years of age. A bit of a live wire, full of fun and mischief, showing his delightful temperament. A sturdy hound of a good size and well proportioned. Masculine head, showing the correct ratios, moderate stop, well placed low set ears and dark oval eyes giving a kind expression. Strong shorter neck, he has a lovely development of forechest and depth of chest. Well sprung ribs which are carried well back, harmonious angulation fore and aft. Presented with a good harsh jacket. His excitement made him a little unsettled on the move today

1st: 3327 ALLENBY, Mrs Heidi & ALLENBY, Mr Richard Ch Rangali Tigger

Super 8 year old red wheaten dog, who has plenty of character to show himself off to advantage, happy and outgoing. Liked his overall size and proportions, very balanced and most appealing. Nicely balanced head, with a moderate dome, equal in its proportions, dark inquisitive oval eye. Correct length of neck, to a firm and well held topline. Well developed in forechest and showing depth to the brisket. Strong hindquarters and low set hocks enabled him to drive around the ring. Presented with a harsh jacket to finish the picture. Delighted to award him – BD & BOS & BV, lovely to hear he went onto win Veteran Group 4 – many congratulations.

2nd: 3333 LEECH, Dr A C & LEECH, Mrs J A Ch & Ir Ch Gavelkind Conquistador By Jamchala VW

Another very worthy champion, of a slightly different stamp to winner, as he has a little more range to his outline. Much to admire on this 9 year old dog, who shows with confidence and style. He has a delightful head, his dark eyes giving his handler such an adoring expression. Strong neck flowing into a firm, level and well held topline. His tail is well set on and in constant use! His ribs are well sprung and carried back to a firm loin. Liked his hindquarters, they show a good width of thigh, bend of stifle, and good muscle tone. Holding a lovely outline in profile, a little lose today in front, super drive from the rear. RBD

This bitch is just 12 months of age, and oh my what a sweetie, she has such an endearing expression. She is what it says on the tin ‘short-legged, rough coated hound of moderate length.’ When stood she has lovely overall balance and proportions. Delightful head, with a moderately domed backskull, correctly placed ears and those soulful dark oval eyes. Good strength to the neck, nicely developed in forechest and with the brisket down to the elbow. Ribs well sprung and carried well back, losing her topline a fraction at times today. Stands on well boned limbs and tight feet. Everything came together on the move, as she drove around the ring with style and vigour - RBB.

1st: 3330 CARTER, Mrs Amanda Rangali Booty Licious

Much to like on this sturdy bitch who has just turned 2 years of age. Liked her overall size and shape, moderate all through, but today carrying a fraction more condition. She has a well proportioned head of fair width, moderate stop, and a dark oval eye. Short strong neck, very well developed in forechest and depth to the brisket, straight forelegs of good bone, with well rounded ribs and a short loin, holding a firm topline and well bent stifles. Shown in good muscle tone with a good harsh jacket. Moving out well in all directions

2nd: 3332 HORN, Miss Karen & HOUSE, Mx Alex Mochras Marta

Pleasing overall balance on this 4 year old bitch. Liked her overall proportions. Very feminine head, good length to the foreface, well placed ears with an endearing expression from her dark oval eyes. Strong neck of the correct length flowing into a firm and well held topline. Today preferring the front of winner. Well developed through the body and strong wide quarters. Moved lovely in profile just a little untidy in front. Well presented and in good coat.

1st: 3334 LEECH, Dr A C & LEECH, Mrs J A Mochras Mahmalade By Jamchala JW

2 year old bitch and litter sister to BOB winner, she has a pleasing shape when stood, a fraction more length of leg, but not detracting from the overall balance. Well proportioned feminine head, with a moderate stop, strength and length to the foreface, her dark eyes giving a kind expression. She has a short strong neck, enough depth, not quite as clean in front, sturdy through the body, with a firm topline and well set on tail. Presented with a harsh jacket. She has a lovely profile action on the move, holding her outline.

1st: 3336 THORNTON, Mrs Elizabeth & LEECH, Dr Antonia Ch Mochras Mahgaux JW

Super 2 year old bitch, who just oozes quality and what a showgirl. She has a little more length of leg but is very balanced and in proportion. When stood she presents a shapely silhouette, with a lovely flow to her outline. Feminine head, showing balance in its proportions, with a moderately domed skull, moderate stop, and those dark mischievous eyes. Correct shorter neck, flowing into a firm level topline to a well set on tail. Good depth through the body and stands on well boned legs and tight feet. Nicely angulated hindquarters with a pleasing width of thigh. All wrapped up in a harsh jacket, beautifully presented and shown. She moved with enthusiasm and pizzazz. Just pipping a super veteran dog to BOB
