I took this over from Mr Paul Harding. Sorry to hear he is not well, and I wish him a speedy recovery. Many thanks to all exhibitors for accepting me as a replacement judge.

Day 1 AV Toy / Utility Dog

1 Ch Michandy It's Showtime At Pupstar JW. This was a very impressive young miniature poodle male. Although miniatures were not measured in the junior stakes he clearly is of the correct size and overall shape. He has a very appealing headpiece which is clean through the back skull. Good strength of foreface. His eye is dark and he has that typical poodle expression. He has a good length of neck, which is clean and well laid shoulders. Correct length of upper arm to place his feet well under him. He has a level top line and correct tail set. In good jacket, which is well presented. Moved with typical action. Loved this male and pleased to hear he had won the CC on the day. 2. Lireva's Wild And Wonderful. Pomeranian. Another very nice young male. Typical head with good small well-placed ears and overall foxy expression. Has a nice overall shape of his body. Lovely fine bone and nice tight cat feet which is good to see. Short backed and well ribbed back. Tail is high set and without kink, and with abundance of coat which gives in the overall shape. Moved well. 3 Ch Khanin Gunner Make It. Very nice French Bulldog with correct shape and good nostril.

Day 1 AV Toy / Utility Bitch. Number 1334. Apologies I do not have the name. Stood alone here but is an enchanting slate coloured Lhasa apso bitch and I am sure she would have done well in a well filled class. I was particularly impressed by her overall shape. Her head is very nice with correct skull to muzzle ratio and a lovely dark medium sized eye. Headpiece is well furnished. Good neck into well-placed shoulders. Level top line. Carries her high set tail well. Good angulation at the rear. Moved well.

Day 2 Day 2 AV Terrier / Hound Dog Chioke For Zeri By Ridgelove. RR. Appealed for his overall balance and outline. Good head and expression. Well set ears. Lovely neck and into well laid shoulders. Very deep in chest for a youngster. Correct ridge. Nicely angulated. Sound mover. 2. Lakkas Yankee Sweet Silkcroft (imp Swe). SCWT. Nice size. Good head of good proportions. Correct forehand. Level topline. Well angulated. Good coat of correct colour and not over styled.

Day 2 AV Terrier / Hound Bitch. Blunderhall Saucy Sally. Beagle. Quality hound with lots to like. Houndy in appearance. Pleasing head and expression with good eye and well set leathers. Lovely bone and feet. Well ribbed. Tail carried correctly. Moved well. 2 Barratini Song And Dance With Rosencrantz. Mini W/H. Very nice overall appearance. Good head of correct proportions and with good length. Correct length of neck. Good shoulders. Well off for bone. Enough ground clearance. In good harsh jacket. Moved well. 3 Risibully Have You Seen Her With Fergustaff

Day 3 AV Gundog Dog Calvdale With Respect Jw. L/W ESS. Presents a nice overall outline. Pleasing expression. Good leathers correctly set. Good neck into well made shoulders with nice bone throughout. Nice tight feet. Correct top line. Another in A1 condition and in lovely bloom. Moved very well a loose lead to secure this class.2. Copper's Get Off My Cloud By Bonhomie (imp Swe). Quality Irish setter of excellent type. Pleasing head and expression. Good length of neck into well-made shoulders. Correct bone and feet. Overall body proportions are correct as is the tail set. Moved well. In good condition and in super coat. 3 Shearstone Janner

Day 3 AV Gundog Bitch Oakmarsh Little Acorn. Chesapeake bay Retriever. Young feminine bitch. She appealed for her overall balance in shape today. Pleasing head good breath of skull and pointed muzzle. Neat ears are well set on the skull. Front assembly is correct and she has nice bone. Well-developed chest for such a young bitch. Typical top line. Well muscled and well angulated rear end. Thick coat of correct texture. Moved very well. I thought her quite charming. She was very well handled.2 Oakswarren Smouldering Hot. Very Typey Bitch. Quality head and eye. Lovely overall outline with beautiful length of neck into well-placed shoulders. In excellent condition. Just needs to settle on the move. When she settles, she will be a very good bitch. 3 Sonnetend You Belong With Me At Pennybeck (ba2)

Day 4 AV Working Pastoral Dog Bramblemead Bollinger Boy Jw. Bearded collie. Impressed for his overall shape. He has a very nice head which is of decent width and with strong muzzle of correct length. Lovely large nose and good eye. Shoulders are a fraction higher than ideal but he has a god length of neck. Of good length with good ribs which are well sprung and well back. Level. Well angulated rear. Well set tail of correct length. In good coat. When he settled into his stride he moved very well. 2. Botlierskop Silver Sceptre For Riversrock. This was a very nice Rottweiler male. I loved him for his overall type and his head which is not over done in any way. Good dark eye of correct shape. Good neck and shoulder and lovely bone and feet. Well sprung rib. Correct depth of brisket. He is lovely on the move and very fluid which is lovely to see in a large dog. He is of good rich colour. Just falls off a fraction more at the croup than I would prefer. A very nice dog. Well handled.3 Mournebrake Also An Angel

Day 4 AV Working Pastoral Bitch Makaylen Cu Caol Ila. I really fell for this old English. She is a lovely bitch and won the overall day stakes. The first thing that one notices is that she is exactly the correct shape. There is no mistaking that she is a bitch but there is no lack of substance here. Good head with good width of skull and good strength of muzzle. Under her jacket she has a lovely eye with good and complete pigmentation of the rim. Lovely large teeth. Correct length of neck into well-placed shoulders which are not in any way loaded. Super bone. Short and compact in her overall shape. She has a well angulated rear. Good harsh jacket. I thought she was a super bitch on the move and was foot perfect. Had that extra little bit of sparkle. I liked her very much.2. Wre Write The Stars From Noonie Bears With Bridus. Bearded Collie. This Beardie pushed the old English sheep dog very hard. I thought her quite lovely in terms of her overall shape and size. She has a very correct head with good eye. Lovely front assembly. Good bone and feet. She is well ribbed up and has a good top line with correct tail set which is well carried on the move. Her movement Is as one would expect from a typical bearded collie. Unfortunately, she just had had enough towards the end of the class which cost her higher honours. In good condition. 3. Ch Elbereth Unisieppari JW
