I would like to thank the Crufts Committee for the opportunity to judge at the best show in the world, I would also like to wish the original judge, Mrs Sue Rose all the best for the future.
I had some lovely dogs and nearly all of them were in good coat but I feel that I must make a couple of comments that we should all be aware of. I believe that we are in danger of losing the cushioning on the muzzle the standard calls for, some exhibits appeared to have finer and longer muzzles which reduces the width and depth to the chin. I also am concerned with the rear movement, some exhibits were very close so the top of the hocks appeared to rub together, there was also evidence of cow hocks and in a couple of instances pigeon toes. Saying that, I was pleased with all of my winners and so pleased to see my BOB take Group 2.

Fawn girl, very similar to 1 therefore many of the comments apply here, totally feminine, has that ‘look if you must’ expression, unfortunately I had to be very picky in this class, although she moved straight, she did have a tendency to go a bit close on the rear, saying that, I really liked her.
