KENNEL CLUB BREEDERS' COMPETITION (21, 0a)

1st: Lumasia’s – Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla – Strong team that were so typy and well matched for size and quality. Pleasing heads and expressions and in good coat. Worked very well as a team, moving out well.

2nd: Chandler’s – Welsh Springer Spaniel – Again another good team who had appealed for their balance. In super coat and condition, they looked very good going round the ring

3rd: Watson’s - Hungarian Vizsla

SPECIAL BEGINNERS’ STAKES (15, 4a)

1st: Kemp-Taylor’s Quensha's Strawberry Swing – English Setter – Pleasing bitch with feminine head, bright expressive eyes, low set ears, long neck, straight well boned forelegs into tight feet, deep chested, moderate rear angulation, would prefer a better tail carriage on the move, kept her topline on the move, moved freely.

2nd: Leslie’s Stripehead Impact - HWHV – As Before in Breed

3rd: Denholm’s Roxombury Moonage Daydream Of Molheden

1st: Turnbull’s Alibren Crystal Ocean - Golden Retriever – Balanced bitch who appealed for breed type, feminine head with gentle expression, dark eye, clean neck into well laid back shoulders, good depth of chest and spring of rib, short loin, held her topline on the move, moved soundly with drive on the move.

1st: Logie & Braidwood’s Graf Iii Vom Busshof At Albadhu (Imp) Deu – Large Munsterlander – Balanced dog who appealed for breed type, masculine head with lovely intelligent expression, strong slightly arched neck into correct front assembly, deep chested, well sprung ribs, strong loin, well muscled rear end, presented and handled well, moved out freely.

2nd: Jackson’s Crumbledor Archibald Alderton – Sussex Spaniel – Masculine dog that appealed for breed type, head and body of good proportions for age, needs time to mature, moved out so well.

3rd: Thomson’s Sarscottah Fearless Flame

AV Gundog Junior Bitch (9, 4a)

1st: Stokes & Vorderst’s Jaclee Shout And Pout – American Cocker Spaniel – Feminine bitch who appealed for breed type, well developed head, clearly defined stop, soft expression, long clean neck, straight forelegs, deep chest, well sprung ribs, gentle sloping topline, well bent stifle, moved out effortlessly covering the ground well.

2nd: Clack & Eddery’s Epsilon Adhara At Molokain JW – Curly Coated Retriever – Balanced bitch who appealed for breed type, correct wedge shaped feminine head, strong clean neck into correct front assembly, straight well boned forelegs leading to tight feet, deep chested, well sprung ribs, moderate rear end, moved soundly.

3rd: Balmer’s Trapaleba Dior

YOUNG KENNEL CLUB MEMBERS STAKES (13,6a)

1st: Clack & Batlle-Hunter’s Leonidas With Molokain (IKC) – Curly Coated Retriever – 7 months old dog who is just right for age, Good head and body proportions for age, held his topline on the move, correct tailset and carriage, coat of crisp curls, moved soundly and was handled well.

2nd: Clubb & Mason’s Oroshaza Bumble Beee JW – Hungarian Vizsla – Feminine balanced bitch, lovely head proportions with correct eye colour and shape, clean neck into well placed shoulders, deep chested, gentle tuck up of loin, level topline which was held on the move, moderate rear end, moved out well with drive.

3rd: Duncan’s Diggmere Struffoli At Larhuly
