My thanks go to the Officers and Committee of Birmingham National for inviting me to judge, my stewards Jean and Joyce who were absolute stars. Some bitches I had judged before outside and did not move as well inside and coats played an important part today.

1ST: Chan’s Wemcrest Sound Of Music - Dark compact happy girl who appealed for breed type, feminine head with excellent pigmentation, clean neck, good depth of chest, well sprung ribs, short loin, well bent stifle, presented and handled well, moved soundly

2ND: Brown’s Sansue Love Note At Louellabrook - Pleasing pale bitch who appealed for her balance, lovely head and kind expression, excellent pigmentation, clean neck into well laid back shoulders, deep chested, level topline, which was held on the move, well bent stifle, moved soundly, not in her best coat today.

3RD: Harding’s Eveninghill Red Sky At Night

1ST: King’s Ashbyglen I Put A Spell On You - Pale compact bitch who presented a pleasing outline, feminine head with a gentle expression, clean neck into correct front assembly, good body proportions for age, short loin, well bent stifle, happy on the move, will watch her future with interest.

2ND: Thomas’ Bou'dabor Gin Fizz With Hessonite - Another lovely puppy but needs more time and does give her handler a hard time, feminine head, excellent pigmentation, straight forelegs leading to tight feet, good body proportions for age, moderate rear angles, moved soundly.

1ST: Robbins, & Rowark’s Brekswood Honey Bee - compact bitch who presented a pleasing outline, balanced throughout, feminine head with kind expression, excellent pigmentation, clean neck into well laid back shoulders with corresponding return of upper arm, good depth of chest and spring of rib for age, short loin, well bent stifle, handled well, moved with reach and drive. BPB & BPIB heard afterwards that today’s wins gave her, her JW. Congratulations.

2ND: Falconer’s Cheek To Cheek Unbridled Dreams For Siatham (Imp) Fra - Another quality pale puppy who pushed the winner hard, feminine head with gentle expression, dark eye, correct ear set and shape, medium length neck into well placed shoulders, good body proportions for age, well bent stifle, in good coat, moved well and true.

3RD: Leonard’s Ambersun Summersault Back To Wynrita

2ND: Leonard’s Wynrita Smoke'n Mirrors - Another that I judged as a puppy and again the bridesmaid, balanced compact bitch with a feminine head of good proportions, kind intelligent expression, excellent pigmentation, clean neck into correct front assembly, straight forelegs, just would prefer tighter feet, deep chested, good spring of rib, short loin, well bent stifle, level topline and correct tailset which was held on the move, moved out well.
