North Eastern Whippet Society

Breed: Whippet

As a non-breed specialist to be invited to award your first set of Challenge Certificates in a new breed is an honour, to be invited to judge bitches at a Breed Club show was thrilling beyond words and I would like to express my gratitude to the committee of NEWS enough for giving me this opportunity. Many thanks to my excellent stewards who helped me finish in good time. Thank you to my co-judge Mr Roger Perkins for sending a lovely male through to Best in Show and for allowing me the honour of judging Best in Show due to his connection with the owners of the bitch I ultimately awarded the CC to. Thank you to the exhibitors who not only provided me with a wonderful selection of Whippets to judge but also accepted my placings in a sportsmanlike manner and helped make it a really special day.
