Nice head properties with well set ears of good width. Muscled loin. Rear action needs to steady. 2ND 9319 - Waran Ricard Des Barbets D'antan (Ms Am Wouters) Br:Barbet For 11 months, quite mature but still gave away a lot in age in this class. Very, very sound with a good coat and tail set. 3RD 9294 - Muddiwarx Moules Frites (Miss S Keen) Br:Barbet Lovely for size, attractive black/white. Again, very sound. 1453. Balance is everything and this dog has it. Excellent topline and tail set. Expressive head. 2ND 9292 - Braam De Triskelleau (Miss A L Johnson) Br:Barbet Good head with beard. Steady topline on this chap kept on the move. Good tail, set. 3RD 9310 - Teisgol King Arthur (Mr P R & Mrs D E & Mrs L & Miss J G Stilgoe & Stilgoe & Fox & Fox) Br:Portuguese Pointer A quality dog, but not happy here. Lovely head qualities and overall proportions. A lot to like. 1454. Any Variety Imported Breed Register (Gundog) - Limit Dog Entries: 5 Absentees: 1 1ST 9309 - Teisgol Henrique (Mr P R & Mrs D E Stilgoe) Br:Portuguese Pointer Loved this boy, he had everything for me. Super type with the very distinctive head and expressive eyes. Lovely profile with good proportions. Shown in super muscle and condition, he powered round the ring showing reach and drive with balance. Stacked he was a stallion male and moved out superbly in the Group BOB. 2ND 9301 - Fidelix Special Edition at Kimmax (Mr P F & Mrs M Mccullough) Br:Korthals Griffon In this exciting class, not a place to be sniffed at! Very close to the winner, being of excellent type with a masculine head, good face furnishings, strong neck. Stylish on the move, he showed great side gait with balance. I preferred the firmer rear of the winner but can see him going on to do very well. 3RD 9280 - Khyannes Valence at Covarney (Imp Hun) (Mr G T & Mrs K E B Condron) Br:Braque D'Auvergne A good dog with a lot to like. Head, neck and topline were good. Overall proportions were excellent. Tail set again excellent. Would like a slightly neater foot. 1455. Excellent in so many departments, Head, furnishings, coat generally, muscling, and moving out a storm. At the end of this long day, he was showing no hesitation in giving his all. 2ND 9266 - Swiss Sh Ch Achouffe Philanderer ShCEx (Mrs L Adams) Br:Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer Impressive very mature male who did everything his owner asked of him. Excellent for size, that very specific coat, and overall proportions. On the move he showed a good side gait. In the end, preferred rear action of the winner. 3RD 9276 - Sherman Di Amaretto Nero (Mrs A Cadart Hochard) Br:Barbet Another fabulous dog, in full coat and of lovely disposition. Good head with necessary beard and face coverage. Well set ears. Excellent to go over. Moving out with ease and balance. 1456. Expressive head with good eye. Some breeds and some lines within breeds take longer than others. 1457. Any Variety Imported Breed Register (Gundog) - Puppy Bitch Entries: 2 Absentees: 0 1ST 9297 - Ambionhill Beau Ranger (Mrs G Labrum) Br:Barbet Well prepared with a lovely outline and coat. Feminine head. Needs to tighten in movement but overall type won her this class. Best Puppy. 2ND 9303 - Novaforesta Madame Figaro at Charamese (Mr R & Mrs J Mcdougal) Br:Barbet Very much a minor puppy at 9 months, but right for her age. Good topline but a little ‘bum high’. More training and handling experience would benefit the owner and dog, but worth persevering with. 1458. Presenting a good outline with strong neck, topline and tail set. Good presentation and proportions. Moving out with ease, using her legs well with a good balanced reach and drive. Best Bitch 2ND 9274 - Parkbalk Ariel Dianell (Mrs B Boughton) Br:Braque D'Auvergne Good angles on this youngster which gave her a free extended gait in the side. Good overall balance and proportions. A Quality dog 3RD 9307 - Barngrace Gin Made Me Do It (Mrs Jl & Mr Wj Robertson) Br:Braque D'Auvergne Not as forward as the winners, she needs to grow into herself a bit more with brisket depth. She has lovely legs and angles but they need to coordinate a bit better now. 1459. Brands) Br:Barbet Very lovely girl with ideal proportions and so very well prepared for the showring. Lovely head, eye and ears and good quality coat. Sound as be on the move. 2ND 9311 - Teisgol Morgana (Mr P, Mrs D & Mrs L Stilgoe & Fox) Br:Portuguese Pointer Fabulous girl with so many excellent points. Head, neck and topline are all lovely as is tail set. Lovely depth of body. Moving out well but I preferred rear action of winner. 3RD 9284 - Yello vom Zulimo mit Barbamor (Imp Ch) (Mrs C Davies) Br:Barbet Brown in good coat. A little hesitant in the ring and to be gone over but there is a quality girl in there waiting to get out! 1460. Good overall proportions and scores highly on side gait with good reach and drive. Very nice. 2ND 9308 - Teisgol Calisto of Dappleline (Mrs L Fox) Br:Portuguese Pointer Not the angles of some of the other Portuguese Pointers but having said that she was balanced. Good for head, eyes and ears and tail set. Moving confidently. 3RD 9278 - S'willa Des Hauts De Rouillac at Cairparavel (Imp Fra) (Mrs S J Clayton-Smith) Br:Braque D'Auvergne On the smaller end of the standard, she is good in many departments but needs to collect herself a little more on the move. At this point in the proceedings, they were calling the Group, so notes are even more sparse, I’m afraid. 1461. Quality bone and muscling. Good head proportions and so very precise on the move with text book footfall. Res Best Bitch 2ND 9283 - Barbamor Starting On Monday (Mrs C Davies) Br:Barbet Feminine with strong head and good beard. Coat of good texture and well prepared. Excellent to go over and in well muscled condition. 3RD 9270 - B Ch Fidelix Winter’s Dream Ejw21 Hjch21 Jgpw21 Bjch21 (Miss Bloemen) Br:Korthals Griffon Classy girl who really knows what the show ring in for. Feminine head with correct proportions, clean neck and a strong topline. She powered around the ring. Just unfortunate to meet the winners. 1462. Sturdy to go over and well angulated. Well coated. Moved out freely 2ND 9296 - Huntingtales Dappled Willow (Imp Nor) (Miss Helen Kifford) Br:Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer Still quite immature.
