He has all the essentials to develop into a top adult. Excellent bone, body, make and shape. Breed typical head set on a reachy neck, true front, sound body with graceful top-line and corresponding underline. Strong, angulated hindquarters. He moved with precise action in front, although could have more reach, and good width parallel action behind.

2nd: 2501 WINKLEY-BALMER, Mr James & WINKLEY, Ms ROSEMARY Bohosoul Firestarter By Edenwhip a quality fawn 7-month-old who is appealing both in standing and moving profile. Slightly longer in loin than 1st although retains an elegant but powerful appearance with a graceful outline. He already has well defined muscle. Attractive head, true front, well developed body and firm, moderately angled hindquarters. Very positive on the move.

He has pleasing bone and body development with everything going together well to produce a very promising youngster. Graceful lines and the agile look of a running hound. Edged this class on movement.

Attractive in head set on good length neck, true front, well-made body with a gentle flowing top-line to well-developed hindquarters; stands firm and balanced. Free and easy movement just less settled in front than 1st.

Smart, breed typical head, obviously masculine, true front though more upright than 1st, well-made body with graceful top-line and powerful quarters. Moved out well with pleasing extension in front.

He has an attractive head, good length neck, true front and firm body, broad loin with a graceful top-line. Moved with true front action but a little close in hock behind.

Attractive head with ears carried well back, good length of neck, firm bodied and balanced moderately angled hindquarters of pleasing width. Free and eager movement but needing to settle in front action.

Gentle top-line and good width moderately angled hindquarters. A good honest male with nothing in exaggeration. True in movement although would prefer more extension in front.

Attractive head with dark eyes and pleasing ears both in size and set. True in front, firm in body with pleasing depth and spring; firm loin leading to moderately angled, strong hindquarters. At times appeared longer in back than 1st. Free, easy movement but not as precise in front as 1st.

Moved with true extension in front and good width drive behind. My Dog CC and Best of Breed winner.

2nd: 2494 WHEELER, Mr Rob Ch Ranveli Diki Diki another high quality brindle male of similar look and age to 1st. He shares many of the merits of 1st. He has a striking overall profile picture being balanced and totally in proportion being elegant in look and graceful in outline. Very attractive head, strong proportional length neck, firm typical sight hound bo, desirable depth and spring of rib with good length, moderately angled hindquarters. Free mover with pleasing rear action but not as settled in front.

2nd: 2447 RISHWORTH, Mrs Claire Richclass King Of Kings a remarkable 9-year-old who belies his age. He is so notable in body condition and, as 1st, is balanced and overall-in proportion. Handsome head set on good length neck into a fit body, pleasing fore-chest, depth and correct spring of ribbing. Moderate strong, stable hindquarters. However, to handle he has quality in head and overall conformation. Well-constructed in front, neck, body and hindquarters. Moved well with true action in front and good width behind.

Ideal angulation of hindquarters with pleasing width. Moved really well with good extension in front with drive and parallel width behind.  Best Puppy in Breed.

Attractive, breed typical, feminine head with pleasing dark eyes. Notable front and forequarters with a well-made body and strong hindquarters. Distinctive, graceful top-line and tuck up, stands ‘four square’ over the ground. A true mover with decent width behind.

Moved well and free but needed to be more controlled in front when challenging for Best Puppy.

She is of good size and has pleasing bone and body; not as deep in chest or tight in elbows as 1st. Overall she is well balanced and of pleasing proportions. True front. Pleasing development for age in body conformation, good width nicely angled hindquarters. True movement in front and behind.

She has nothing in exaggeration, a good honest bitch and one who has a very promising future.

2nd: 2483 TURNER, Mr Desmond & TURNER, Mrs Anita Gilnockie Kinda Cool an elegant, shapely 14-month-old bitch who appears to be slightly longer in loin than 1st. She is well-made in front and forequarters, pleasing body and hindquarters. Need to settle and be more steady on the move to give of her best.

Lovely head and expression. Well-made in front, pleasing depth of chest and satisfactory spring of ribbing. Looks to be one who can ‘run at speed’. Moved with a free and easy true action.

Attractive in head, strong well-shaped neck and firm body with strong, ‘firm of stance’ hindquarters. Projects a very satisfying breed typical appearance with all the angles and gentle curves in the correct places. Moved OK but a little unsettled.

The best of feminine heads and expression. Lovely neck and body length. True front and nicely angulated hindquarters giving ideal balance in profile. For me she has all the qualities to look for in a Whippet. Lovely size and proportions which showed with her sound, precise and purposeful movement. My Bitch CC Winner; Good luck to her gaining her title.                                                                                                                                      

2nd: 2406 JONES, Mrs Kathryn J & JONES, Mr John D Jothryn Black Eyed Blond a very feminine, shapely 2¾-year-old light brindle elegant bitch who has flowing lines. Striking in make and shape with a lovely head and gentle expression. Pleasing in overall length, proportions and balance. Firm racy body with adequate spring and depth of chest. Steady movement, good in side gait but not as settled in front action as 1st.

2nd: 2398 HOWGATE, Mr M & HULL, Ms Y Palmik Truth About Love JW a quality 2-year-old who was so pleasing to go over. She is sound in conformation with a sound front, body and hindquarters. Just preferred the more shapely outline of 1st. In good fit condition and well-enough muscled. Graceful lines and elegant in profile.  A good honest bitch; moved with a precise front action and good width rear action although would prefer more obvious umph!
