Thank-you to Birmingham National for my appointment to judge my first and much -loved breed, Weimaraners, today. It was a real honour, and I enjoyed the day very much. Thanks so much to my two efficient and unobtrusive stewards who kept me on track admirably. Thanks to everyone who entered and the good sportsmanship accepting my decisions. Was delighted to see my Best of Breed/ Best Veteran dog go forward to win Best Gundog Veteran Group under Nigel Worth, he looked a picture in the big ring.

 SBD (6,3) 1 Osbourne-Fardons Silberliss Bombadier. Good pale colour and coat, straight front legs and good feet. Masculine head and good width of skull. Level topline and slightly sloping croup with well carried tail. Moved true. 2Jennings Wallaroo Romeo JW Darker shade of grey but liked his aristocratic head. His front and lay of shoulder were correct with good hind angulation and bend of stifle, level topline on the move.3 Jamison & Jamisons Greyspirit Kept Me Waiting

 MPD (4 ) 1 Sayer & Walworks Braefell Blackthorn just a baby but sure to fill out his already correct outline with nothing overdone. Pale colour and good head with correct ear set and length of ear. Good well arched feet, moved well for a youngster with good topline using his well angulated rear. 2 Alcorn & Ingrams Gunalt Roger That A.i. also just a baby with good head and pronounced occipit. Good back line and ribs well into loin. Straight front end and moved well for a youngster. 3 Bennett & Bennetts Ansona Chico

PD (5,2) 1 Longbottoms Gunalt Beehave good upstanding dog maturing well into correct outline. Straight front legs and correct brisket to elbow, and slight spring of rib. Good ground covering movement clinched his place. 2 Sayer & Wallworks Braefell Blackthorn lots to like with good body on straight front legs and well arched feet. Well angulated rear. Moved with drive. 3 Waltons Akwamar Under My Thumb (ba4)

 JD (5,1) 1 Carpenters Aschfahl Kepanye Masculine but classic head, correct ear length and correct fold of ear. Well let down chest to elbow and ribbed well back into loin. Good hind angulation. Moved with drive and good footfall. 2 Charlishs Miss Ellen Gunalt The Hangover JW Pale colour with good head proportions and balanced muzzle to skull. Well let down chest to elbow and firm topline into good rear quarters. Moved well. 3 Robsons Kalimor Washington At Robricci

 YD (6,2)1 Robsons Kalimor Washington At Robricci filled the eye as a masculine dog whose size and frame befitted this yearling and later graduate class. Aristocratic head and expression with good depth of flews and correct muzzle to skull angles and stop. Well developed chest into strong forequarters. Rear quarters well developed and moved well with good stride. A balanced dog with height and length of body in proportion. Was pleased to learn that his wins today give him his final points for JW. 2 Jennings Wallaroo Romeo JW good outline and well -developed front and rear. Just needs to tighten on movement. 3 Brown & Davies Gunalt Polished At Wystry

 PGD (4,3)1 Jamieson & Jamieson Greyspirit Kept Me Waiting. Would like a bit more work in his head shape. Good pale colour and good depth of chest, well held topline flowing into slightly sloping croup and good tailset. Good rear legs and moved OK.

LD (10,1 )1 Richardsons Cheyenn Makeeta what a joy to go over such very good longhair. Very typical head and well coated with good feathering on body, legs and tail, coat of good colour. Liked his moderately long neck and good depth of chest to well laid shoulder. Good length of back and well held loin into good hind angulation and let down of stifle. Flowed around the rind with good length of stride. 2 Martins Deifstock Deja Vu For Teufel JW. Good profile and correct height to body ratio. Body in correct proportions and moved well. 3 Gatts Sireva Thomas Newburgh

 OD (8,1)1 Simpsons Ch Sireva Emeyefive JW. I just didn’t have enough cards for the best class of the day with an abundance of typical dogs. The winner stood out for his classic outline with nothing overdone. Excellent coat and colour. Good front with correct depth of chest and proportions. Correct rear and well- muscled through the loin without any sign of coarseness. It was no surprise that he has his full title as he filled the “Fit for Purpose” admirably. He was giving his handler a hard time, as his mind was on other things, but still an impressive specimen of the breed and worthy Champion. Res dog CC.

2 Alcorn & Ingrams Sh Ch Gunalt Hendricks. A dog that did not disappoint when I had a chance to go over him in the ring. Fully mature and right on top of the game. His muscle tone and fitness stood out with good fore and rear quarters and a well let down chest. Coat smooth and sleek, in good condition. He moved true around the ring in a good ground covering stride. Excellently handled. 3 Burgess & Burgess Gunalt Vettel To Hantzburg ShCEx

 VD (2)1 Paveys Sh Ch Gunalt Undeniable At Joneva. Superb dog. He a picture of the breed standard Weimaraner type. Masculine, classic head and expression, with good muzzle to skull and just the right amount of stop. His clean neck merged into good straight front legs and well laid shoulders. Chest was deep and correct in forechest and width of rib into firm loin and very well angulated rear quarters. Good bone quality. Gleaming silver coat and colour. He presented a perfect outline standing with everything balanced. On the move he just flowed around the ring with long stride and correct footfall. Dog CC, BOB and Best Veteran. Delighted to see him go Best in the Veteran group later in the day, when he looked great in the big ring, under judge Nigel Worth. 2 Beagrie & Beagrie Sh Ch Gunalt Audio From Feldhund JW lovely mature dog with good head and deep muzzle. Good outline and profile with correct depth of chest and good muscle throughout. Moved very well both coming and going.

SBB (2) 1 Rockstros SA Silvermews Celinka Good lines of muzzle and skull gave an attractive expression. Clean neck into well laid shoulders and good straight front. Well -developed chest with good width of forechest. Kept topline. Rear quarters correctly angulated. Best Special Beginner in breed.

2 Reakes’s Thrihyrne Love Letters. Long hair, just preferred head of my winner. Well off for coat and good condition. Straight front and well arched feet. Good substance and muscle tone. Level topline held well on the move.

MPB (3) 1 Thorne & Thornes Trapaleba Vera Wang At Mabanika Well developed 9mth old with good muscle development. Head correct with right planes of muzzle to skull and enough stop. Fore chest well let down and ribbed well back into loin. Good angulation on rear and moved well.

2 West & Wests Gunalt Frequency (ai) Just a baby but all correct. Should mature out well with time. Liked her front and rear angulation and moved collectedly.

3 Sayer & Wallworks Braefell Briar

 PB (5,1)1 Dyer & Oddie Sharnphilly Annie Mac. Fell in love with this puppy as soon as she entered the ring. Classic head with correct head planes and ear set. Good length of neck into correct front assembly. Topline excellent for a youngster and good rear angulation and let down of stifle. Nice tuck up and loin. Moved out well with good ground covering stride. Sure to have a bright future. Best Puppy in Breed

2 Simpsons Sireva Emseesee another striking puppy with lots to like. Femine head. Pale coat and colour. Straight front legs into well -muscled body and correct rear angulation. Moved well held topline.

3 Thorne & Thornes Trapaleba Vera Wang At Mabanika

 JB (3,2) 1 Hostlers Theondale Margot Correct colour and femine throughout. Good length of muzzle and correct reach of neck. Fore quarters well developed and correct depth of chest to elbow. Balanced length of body and tuck up. Well angulated rear, overall a good outline. Moved well.

 YB (3) 1 Longbottom & Milbys Gunalt Curtain Call JW upstanding bitch with good overall profile. Well filled skull and good head planes. Excellent straight front legs and good topline, good rear angulation and let down of stifle. Moved well.

2 Murrays Silberstern Rumour Has It Around Rachmor Well boned with femine head. Good length of neck and depth of chest. Body well defined and muscled. Good arched feet on well -made legs. Movement good. 3 Charlishs Harelferg Cookson

PGB (5,2 1 Robosns Kalimor Nancy At Robricci JW Maturing well for her age, good strength in head and muzzle. Well set ears and fine leathers. Correct width of skull into good neck. Topline and body giving a good outline. Straight front legs and well angulated rear. Moved well with good stride.

Liked her head shape and expression. Good neck into well let down chest. Correctly muscled throughout and well angulated rear. Moved well. 3 Murray Murray & Tracys Mabanika Just Good Friends

 OB (9) 1 Maskell Rayners Enjager Harmony With Brownbank JW. Classic lines to head and skull. Straight front legs and correct chest and topline. Well muscled throughout into good rear quarters. Excellent movement with true stride. Liked her pale colour. Understand she is sitting on two CCs now so sure to gain her crown soon. B CC 2 Morris’s Kalimor Gem. Another good bitch close up to my winner, liked her feminine head and well set ear. Clean neck and good deep body. Well angulated rear. Moved well. 3 Rodgers’s Sh Ch Minstergate Carnival JW
