Minor Puppy Dog (1):

1. Mrs L A & Mr D Walker’s Gwendariff Hanky Panky (IKC) NAF. Just short of 8 months, this puppy sports a nice head with a good eye and ear placement, liked his head proportions having the correct depth in muzzle. Strongly boned, neat tight feet, lovely topline and moves well with a lashing tail.

Puppy Dog (2):

1. Miss C & Miss R Neill & Ellrich’s Gwendariff Sky Diver (IKC). Of good type with a pleasing head showing raised brows and a fairly square finish to muzzle. Straight front, well boned legs, excellent depth of chest, good topline and strong loins, strong in hind quarters, presented in very good condition, sound mover.

2. Miss S & Miss N A Tupper & Rosie’s Alolfrana’s Welsh Crusader. Good head proportions but found his front not being his forte, not quite so balanced but put down in lovely coat & condition.

Junior Dog (1):

1. Mr G & Miss K Jacobs & Bernard’s Forfarian Fancy Footwork. 12 month old with a good masculine masculine head, correct eye, good ear placement, liked his neck and shoulders, strong chest, maybe a tad too wide in front to my liking, good topline and tail carriage, strong hind movement, moved well.

Yearling Dog (2)

1. Mr J, Mrs L & Miss L H Richardson’s Bardonhill Mcintosh Red at Montgreenan JW. well coated youngster who is progressing well, masculine head & expression with the correct eye & ear placement, good neck & front fill, good strong topline, well set tail which he used well on the move, coat well presented & looked good in profile movement.

2. Mr B Grace’s Gwendariff Right Back at Ya Ranaleen. Lovely type, but tends to be too lose at the front on the move, also preferred hind angles of winner.

Novice (2):

1. Forfarian Fancy Footwork (Repeat)

2. Alolfrana’s Welsh Crusader (Repeat)

Graduate Dog (2):

1. Mrs D & Miss J Parsons’ Quensha Thinking Out Loud at Bransett JW. 2 yr old dog, well-bodied, would have preferred a finer head, good chest width and depth, strong feet with good bone, well ribbed, strong hind quarters which he used to his advantage on the move.

2. Ms S Desmond’s Clannrua Cu Chulainn. Not quite the balance of 1 but a pretty head with good length & expression from correctly placed eyes & well set ears, would have preferred a longer body.

Post Graduate Dog (1)

1. Miss L Kolbach’s Kerryfair Zoom in On Pawsword. 2 ½ yr old with a good head, good jaws, lovely in neck with a good front, good chest width and depth, hind movement could be better.

Limit Dog (5):

1. Mrs L A Murchison’s Kerryfair Please Please Me Corphin. Masculine head & expression, well placed eyes of the correct shape, well set ears, excellent neck & good shoulders, correct topline & well set tail, moved with style & purpose, enough hindquarters which were well muscled, sound mover.

2. Mrs L A & Mr D Walker’s Gwendariff Ucant Touch This JW. Decent dog of good type, could certainly do with better handling to bring out the best out of him.

3. Quensha People Keep Talking of Harelferg.

4. Quensha Walk Me Home to Danwish.

Open Dog (5, 1)

1. Miss R Ellrich’s Sh Ch/ir Sh Ch Gwendariff Absolutely Marwe'llus (IKC) Cw24 Ww’24. Splendid specimen so well presented, this dog oozes quality and is so very well balanced, giving the impression of speed without loss of substance and there is nothing exaggerated about him. His head is well balanced with low set ears giving the correct skull the oval shape from ear to ear and his muzzle is moderately deep with a fairly square finish. Kind dark hazel eye of correct shape under nicely raised brows. His neck is well muscled with a classic slight arch and it fits very cleanly into his well laid shoulders. Excellent front assembly, the length and return of his upper arms place his front legs well under his body. Good bone with clearly visible sinew and stands on small, firm feet. Excellent body, correct spring of rib having plenty of heart and lung room, well ribbed back to a strong, muscular loin. Looking at him from behind he is so correct and his stifles are well bent with well developed second thighs. Tail is set on just below the level of his back and enhances his clean flowing lines. Beautifully presented in a lustrous coat of good colour and texture with the right amount of feathering. Impressive when standing, even more impressive on the move. He has a long easy stride and moves with his head held high as if to scent the air, covering a lot of ground with minimum effort. Top drawer quality. CC and BOB. Delighted seeing him put up a great performance later on in the evening and going Reserve Best in the Gundog Group.

2. Mr P, Mr G T & Mrs A Bott, Allen & Morgan’s Sh Ch Quensha Take A Bow. Another fabulous dog that scored in all departments, unfortunate to have met the winner in this class. A mature dog with a good head & expression, correct neck & shoulders, strong topline & well set tail, good coat & condition, so balanced & moved well, correct bone & feet. Just thought the winner had the edge in head qualities. Res. CC.
