The breed had a late start and I had to resort to writing rather short critiques.

Puppy Dog (4)

 Not much between the first two.

1. Chesterhill Oceans Orca At Anorien

Elegant dog, well up on legs. Masculine head. Dark eyes. Very good rise of neck. Firm topline. Balanced angulation. A sound, no nonsense mover. Best Puppy

2. Maldavale Bielsa

Black dog with a really beautiful head and a great expression. Legs long enough. Strong neck, firm topline. Moved light on his feet. Tail carriage not his fortune.

Junior Dog (4)

1. Ch. Michandy It’s Showtime At Pupstar JW

A quality dog, he has a very attractive poodley expression. Excellent neck. I was not impressed with his topline on the stack, but he smartened up on the move. Lovely coat, very well presented. Sound mover, light on his feet. resCC

2. Antiquarius Gabriel

Obviously masculine dog, still with plenty of elegance, but quite puppyish in his balance both standing and moving. Excellent tail. Moved light on his feet and well coo-ordinated, if not very enthusiastic.

1. Sunmarca Secret Agent

A dog with pleasing elegance and good length of leg. Masculine head. Eyes could be darker. Good feet. Too wide in his front. Moved quite light on his feet.

2. Antiquarius Morpheus

Strong, masculine black dog, in my view too long in his body for balance. Expressive head. Excellent topline. Did not move with enough forward motion and rather heavy footed. Flat feet. Excellent coat and colour.

An absolutely fabulous dog in his prime, I admired everything about him. He has perfect proportions and outline. Outstanding head and expression. Long legs and long neck combined with a short body. Superb feet. He moved just like a poodle should with optimal carriage, very light on his feet and very balanced, co-ordinated and efficiently. A truly outstanding representative of his breed and sex, it would be foolish to try to fault him and I felt honoured to have the privilege to judge him. Pleased to see from the catalogue that he is able to pass on his qualities as his lovely daughters won the CC and the resCC. With plenty in hand CC & BOB

Strong bitch, could be more feminine. Excellent length of head. Strong neck. Pleasing front construction. Tends to give away in topline. Well set tail. Normal, sound mover.

Very feminine blue bitch, small and not at all developed at this stage and will need plenty of time. Not in the best coat condition. Well handled by her young owner.

1. Jaytor Jean You Win Le Cream

Feminine crème bitch of excellent size and type. Very pleasing balance with enough length of leg and a short body to match. Pleasing expression. Strong, firm topline. Very well set and carried tail. One foot could be better knuckled. Excellent coat quality and quite even colour. Expertly presented. Sound mover from all angles with pleasing carriage. resCC

2. Arrowflight High Society At Dongara JW

Black bitch on the larger side. I would prefer her smaller, but still reasonably feminine. Pleasing head with dark eyes. Long neck. Balanced angulation both ends. Kept her balance on the move, but I would prefer her lighter on her feet.

1. Ch. Volgarus Candid Clara

Athletic and attractive crème bitch, well up on legs and short-bodied. Attractive head with a good chin. Strong neck with pleasing neck. Well set tail. Excellent coat quality and an even colour. She moved with a very pleasing balance and carriage, well synchronized and with animation to win the CC

2. Maldavale Fizztastic Von Amenria

Another attractive black bitch with obvious quality. Standing she has similar proportions and outline to the winner, but moving she looks significantly longer in body. Firm topline. Excellent coat quality, well presented. Used her legs well on the move from all directions.
