Puppy Dog (2)

1. Salvadorada King of Hearts

Six month old male, well grown for his age and with a pleasing outline and proportions. Typical head with good width of skull and correct proportions skull to muzzle. Lovely expression. Very pleasing neck. Moderate return of upper arm and shows his youth in his front. Firm topline with slight arch of loin. Well set tail. Balanced angulation behind. Very well spotted. He moved with plenty of drive, obviously needing to stabilize with age.

2. Rapanooey Ross of Mull

Another attractive puppy, also six months old and not as forward as the winner, he still has quite a lot of growing to do and was not all that confident in the ring. Elegant head, excellent eyes and expression. Good rise of neck. Well angulated in front and completely straight in his front legs. Firm body. Well angulated behind. Another who strode out very well from the side, if youthful coming and going.

Junior Dog (1)

1. Dalmark’s Jubilations at Nospar JW

An eye-catching dog standing, he filled my eyes. Typical head and expression, masculine. Good rise of neck. Very moderately angulated in front. Deep and capacious body, well angulated behind. Very pleasing tailset. Well spotted. He was playing up quite a bit on the move and then lifted his front legs too much and could perfect his movement going away. Could be more brave in his temperament.

Novice Dog (1)

1. Salvadorada King of Hearts

Post Graduate Dog (2)

1. Salvadorada Heads Will Roll JW

Quite a tall, brown-spotted dog with very pleasing outline. Attractive head with excellent skull, strong neck. Pleasing topline with slight arch of loin. Moderate angulation behind. He has some forechest. Well spotted. Kept his balance on the move and very well synchronized with his handler, extending quite well in both ends.

2. Kalsidoni Blue Gemstone JW

Strong and masculine dog with pleasing outline on the stack. Typical head with excellent skull and expression. Lovely ears. Strong neck, could be smoother set. Needs to develop in his forechest. Deep chest. Pleasing outline, but his tail is rather low set and carried gaily on the move. Reasonable mover from the side, could perfect his coming towards me.

Limit Dog (6)

1. What You See Is What You Get Passionate About You for Chizzmic JW

Dog of excellent type and quality, very well balanced and proportioned. Attractive, masculine head with lovely expression. Strong neck, well set into shoulders. Good return of upper arm, he stood very well over his front legs. Deep and capacious body, strong hindquarters, well angulated. Rather overly enthusiastic on the move, his handler found it at times difficult to control him, but his performance improved a bit over time. The male that came closest to my ideal of the breed, but could not beat the veteran in movement today. resCC.

2. Sassydals Flugel Horn

Another dog with similar shape and proportions, if less angulated both ends, but he balances well as shown in movement. Masculine head, his excessive lips are quite disturbing to his expression. Used his neck well both standing and moving. Deep chest, very good topline with slight arch of loin. Excellent legs and feet. He strided out really well behind, if not the cleanest going away.

3. Decoda’s Crackerjack

Open Dog (5)

1. Ch. Caprillis Panache over Sassafras

A very clean-cut dog, he presented a very attractive outline, if with just barely enough length to his body. Typical head, dark eyes, pleasing expression. Long neck, well set into shoulder. Typical head, dark eyes, very good ears. Long neck, well set. Firm topline. Moderately angulated behind. Very well spotted. He moved with synchronized steps around the ring, but could be sounder going away.

2. Rapanooey Sugar Donut at Spotamour JW

Strong dog of very pleasing proportions. At times he looked very attractive in his outline, at other times he lost some of this shape. Strong head, I would not want it any stronger nor would I want any more stop. Long neck, well crested. Very good forechest. Deep and capacious body. Well set and carried tail. A dynamic mover from the side, but could be better going away.

3. Gloriandus Petersburg at Salvadorada

Veteran Dog (4,1)

1. Ch. Buffrey Incognito by Dalleaf JW

A very clean cut dog and a really good mover, much better than all the younger dogs. Typical head and lovely expression. Well set ears. I would prefer a better layback of upper arm and for him to put more weight on his front legs when standing. Shapely body with slight arch of loin, on the shorter side. Moderate angulation behind, matching his front. Well spotted. I would lie if I said that he is “my type”, but he is a superb mover and particularly from the side and today had to win the CC and Best Veteran.

2. Ir.Ch. Alioth Moonlight Surprise

A dog with a very pleasing outline and proportions, typical head and expression. Strong neck. Moderate, but balanced angulation both ends. Deep and capacious body, he presents a very attractive silhouette on the stack. Richly brown spotted. Unfortunately he did not move as well as his construction would suggest, and not quite synchronized today.

3. Bellili’s D’amore De Loin ShCH ShCEx

Puppy Bitch (4)

1. Offordale Jazz

A beautiful bitch puppy, very much my type of Dalmatian. She has substance and covers an ideal amount of ground at a young age. Typical, feminine head with excellent expression. Well set neck. Balanced angulation both ends. Firm topline both standing and moving. Well spotted. She moved very well indeed, especially from the side, if a little proud of her tail. A future champion for sure. Best Puppy.

2. Salvadorada Kinky Boots

Another young bitch, very well gown at six months old. Strong head. Medium neck. Already has a forechest, but not quite as straight in her front legs as the winner. Deep and capacious chest, pleasing topline with slight arch of loin. Strong things. She tended to roll with her body on the move, but showed very good extension both ends.

3. Rapanooey Rosebank von Schunikka

Junior Bitch (2)

1. Cubalibre Star Attraction

A beautiful bitch from the top drawer. Classical head with good wight of skull, very pleasing expression. Long and crested neck, well set. Firm topline with slight arch of loin. Could do with some more layback of upper arm, but still put very good weight on her front. Ideal body proportions. Matching angulation behind. She moved very well indeed from all angles, at all times keeping her beautiful shape, outline and balance. A future champion and considered for the top awards today.

2. Sophtspot Sugar Plum

Another attractive bitch with plenty of quality, but on the finer side and could do with some more substance. Same thing goes for her head which is still very expressive. Long neck, well set. Deep chest. Moderate body length. Balanced angulation both ends. Somewhat fine in bone. Well spotted. Another who moved quite well, especially from the side.

Novice Bitch (4,1)

1. Salvadorada Kinky Boots

2. Salvadorada Jalapeno Girl at Palouse

Elegant bitch, very feminine, I would prefer some more bone and substance. Attractive head and expression. Good neck. Pleasing topline. Somewhat east-west in her front. Well spotted. Moved much in sync with her handler and kept a shapely outline.

3. Sophtspot Sparkler at Nospar

Graduate Bitch (6)

1. Cubalibre Wishing Star

Bitch with excellent proportions and outline and of an overall type that appeals to me. She has an attractive head and expression. Long neck, well set. Medium angulation in front. Beautiful body shape with slight arch over the loin. Balanced hindquarters. She covered ground easily and with little effort moving around the ring.

2. Aphadirato Rising Star over Sassafras

A very attractive bitch standing, she has excellent proportions and shape. Feminine head with good skull, but could do with more strength of muzzle. Long neck, well set. Shapely body, well angulated behind. She moved with plenty of energy, but tended to tuck herself up a bit on the move and then did not profit from the attractive outline she had on the stack.

3. Ruebedu Ace of Spades

Post Graduate (4)

1. Sadiedel’s Arab Girl

An eye-catching, clean cut bitch with quality, but with just enough substance. Her silhouette filled my eye. Feminine head, just strong enough, but with a pleasing skull. Long, well set neck. Balanced angulation both ends. Shapely body with a beautiful underline and an attractive topline with a slight arch of loin. She moved only medium well from all angles, somewhat proud of her tail.

2. Cotterspot Nidderdale Lady of Chizzmic

A somewhat stronger bitch. She has more bone than the winner, but not quite the same shape and outline. Another who could do with more strength of head. Strong neck. Balanced angulation both ends. Strong thighs. She moved with energy, but used her legs only medium well from all angles.

3. Kelevra Pickle My Fennel with Buffrey JW

Limit Bitch (10,1)

1. Kallierbelle Ceithir JW

The star of the day, a very well constructed and balanced bitch and a truly outstanding mover. She has a very pleasing head with very good width of skull and correct head proportions. Long and strong neck, well set. Excellent front which could hardly be said about the vast majority. Strong bone, yet feminine. Strong topline with a slight arch. I would not mind slightly less weight, but hey – you cannot have it all. She can have no less spots than she does, but within the acceptable. Excellent legs and feet. She moved like a dream, very much in sync with her young handler, sound as bell from all angles and a very big mover from the side, displaying balance, power and perfect co-ordination. Thrilled to have one as good as this, thank you for making my day. CC & BOB.

2. Winflash Mirage

A rangier bitch, elegant and feminine and with obvious quality and another who impressed in movement as she is dynamic and well co-ordinated. Fair head, should have no more stop than this. Long neck. Moderate layback of upper arm. Deep and capacious body. Well angulated behind. Her tail is somewhat high set. Scored heavily in movement and was the only one could even dream of competing with the winner.

3. Salvadorada Hopes N’Dreams

Open Bitch (4,1)

1. Ch. Sophtspot La De Da at Belsmard ShCEx

Feminine bitch, very fit and very dynamic in movement. She has an attractive head and expression. Lovely ears. Excellent neck into shoulder. Pleasing forechest. Firm topline, deep and capacious body. Enough bone. Well angulated behind. She moved with plenty of energy and well synchronized, sound coming and going as well. Very good coat and well spotted. Very well handled to win the resCC.

2. Shydally Star Attraction

An eye-catching, elegant bitch with an excellent outline. She is quite tall for a bitch, but definitely feminine. Long neck, well set. Could do with some more layback of upper arm, deep chest, excellent slight arch over loin. Kept her outline on the move, but could extend better with her hindquarters.

3. Carodal Coast to Coast

Veteran Bitch (1)

1. Ch. Ellemstra Little Mix with Kalsidoni

Strong, still feminine bitch in very good condition and shape for her eight years old. Excellent head and expression. Strong neck. Enough front angulation. Would prefer some more length of back. Well set tail. Strong hindquarters. She moved soundly from all angles, definitely enjoying her day out.

Special Beginner (3,1)

1. Salvadorada Happy Go Lucky

Elegant bitch with a very pleasing outline standing, but needs some more bone and substance. Head on the refined side, lovely expression. Medium neck. Moderate, but balanced angulation both ends. Deep chest, could be a bit stronger in her topline, especially on the move. Fair enough mover.

2. Cotterspot Cotterdale Lady

This bitch has a lovely temperament, but her overall type and quality is severely distracted by a large patch over one eye which to me is an unforgiveable fault in the breed, but not a disqualification according to the UK standard. Long neck. Too straight in upper arm. Firm body, quite good topline, pleasing angulation behind. Not the shape or balance I am looking for on the move, but she has plenty of energy.
