Puppy Dog (1)

1. Zarcrest Red in The Room

At just eight months old, this dog is already a truly excellent mover. Attractive head with flat skull and pleasing expression. Could do with some more neck. Excellent keel and firm topline. Well set and carried tail. Pleasing coat quality. Excellent mover from all angles. resCC and Best Puppy

Open Dog (3)

1. Ch.Ir.Ch. Zarcrest See in Red at Smartdac

A truly excellent dog of outstanding type and quality. He is very well proportioned, very well constructed and moved very well indeed. Typical head with excellent proportions, make and shape. Lovely outline. Excellent mover from all angles, striding out very well indeed from the side. Simply an outstanding representative of his breed and sex. CC & BOB

2. Ir.Ch. Orange Sunrise of Eirelandred

Another quite well proportioned dog of very pleasing type and quality. In a different competition, I would have been happy to award him, but today he was not serious competition for the winner. Refined head. Quite pleasing neck. Firm topline. I would prefer some more weight on him. Moved well from all angles.

3. Ir.Ch. Lampcien Stud Muffin

Junior Bitch (3)

1. Dark Designed at Smartdac

Twelve months old black and tan bitch, very mature and with an adult balance already. Strong bitch head which needs no more stop. Long neck, well set. Firm topline. Very well angulated both ends. A little weak in pasterns. Striking silhouette. Very good quarters. When she set her mind to it, she moved very well from all angles. resCC

2. She’s Defying Gravity at Dramadax

Another black and tan bitch. Feminine, if not as balanced as the winner. Feminine head. Neck could be better set. Moderately angulated both ends. She moved Ok from all angles. Well handled.

3. Evasion Noreen of Eirelandred

Limit Bitch (4)

1. Moyrnerose Try Me for Size

A red bitch who comes alive in movement, and then she looks really good. Standing she is more anonymous. Head could be longer as could her neck. Moderately angulated both ends, but it all balances out very well as demonstrated on the move. Pleasing depth of body, firm topline.

2. Abydachs About Time

Standing this black and tan bitch had the edge in this class, she has a longer head and a longer neck than the winner. Very good keel and topline. Temperament-wise she showed very little sparkle and was dragging her tail behind herself on the move which spoiled it for me, even though she used her legs well enough. Ample coat.

3. Zilcan Crème Caramel at Llansansiour JW

Open Bitch (4)

1. Smartdac Aciri Storn

This black and tan bitch was in a class of her own today. Excellent type and quality, very well balanced and constructed and just lovely. She has a strong, but balanced head with a flat skull, excellent length of muzzle and an exceptionally good underjaw. Excellent neck and topline. Well angulated both ends. Excellent coat. A very good mover from all angles. This bitch could win anywhere. I was delighted to learn that she became a champion with this CC.

2. Rickanndack Red Diamond

Red bitch, rather fine and without the substance of the winner. Fine in head, skull tended to be round. Moderate neck and front angulation. Firm topline, her tail could be better set. She moved quite well from all angles, if not like the winner.

3. Ir.Ch. Ralines Keepsake Lampcien
