Minor Puppy Males (3)
1. Rossvale I Have A Dream
Eight month old sable dog, well grown and mature for his age. Very attractive head with excellent nose placement, width of jaw, expressive dark and round eyes. Strong neck, well set. Ample bone. Capacious chest and front. Well set tail. Still needs to drop into his hindquarters. Excellent coat. Strong and positive mover, carrying himself well.
2. Santosha Black Frost at Hajenza
Another very attractive puppy, eight and a half months. I liked his proportions, deep and capacious in his body. Excellent head, well rounded skull. Strong jaws, excellent bite. Expressive, dark and round eyes. Very good front with plenty of forechest. Firm topline, well set tail. Moderately angulated behind. Excellent coat. He moved soundly enough but tended to lose some of his carriage on the move.
3. Norboo Theodore
Puppy Dogs (3,1)
1. Ethelsmead Half A Sixpence at Kengai
A nicely balanced, strong and masculine dog who made a very attractive silhouette when standing. Well rounded skull, beautiful expression from his dark and round eyes, very dark pigment to this nose, which is set just high enough. Wide and square jaws. Well set neck into topline, strong topline, beautiful tail. Deep and capacious body. Excellent coat quality. Not overly happy on the move and could make better use of his tail, but used his legs well enough.
2. Unstoppable Alpiu Slenis to Jaxtzu JW
A very eye-catching dog, very well presented. He has obvious qualities, but to me he is too up on legs and too square in his body for balance. Attractive head with well placed nose, expressive eyes. Well rounded skull. Good neck into shoulder. Could do with some more angulation both ends. Well set and carried tail. Excellent coat, brilliantly presented. Could be more confident on the table, but was a happy mover.
Junior Dogs (3)
1. Charonnis It’s Now or Never
A good dog with a very pleasing overall balance. He is masculine without lumber. Well rounded skull, eyes are dark and round, but could be larger. I would not want a longer nose, but he has very good width to his square jaw. Pleasing neck with strength and well set into shoulder. Prefer more layback of upper arm. Strong topline. Beautiful tail, well set and with height to it. Balanced angulation behind. Well ribbed. Lovely coat quality. A coordinated and enthusiastic mover.
2. Norboo Do Ya Wanna Play with Marinbox
There is quite a lot to like about this dog. He is well balanced and well constructed, but he is not enough of a male and should be more masculine all through. Same thing goes for his head which has a very pleasing expression and well placed nose, excellent pigmentation. Attractive silhouette made up by his neck, topline and tail. Rather fine in bone. Well cared for coat of very good structure. Nice and easy on the move.
3. Jadetemple Eagle Has Landed
Yearling Dog (2,1)
1. Jadetemple Eagle Has Landed
Placing third in the last class, there is actually quite a lot to like about this dog. He is strong and sturdy while still not a big dog. His head is classical, well rounded in skull and expressive with dark, well placed eyes and a good width of jaw. Strong neck, well set, He tends to be rather high behind in his balance and could do with some more length to his body, but he is deep and capacious. Some more attention could be given to his coat. Well set tail, but he was not making use of it on the move. Good flick-up, but toed in in front.
Post Graduate Dog (4)
1. Rossvale Fantastic Dream at Charonnis JW
Strong, masculine dog with very pleasing proportions and type. Typical skull, well rounded and strong. Very pleasing expression from his dark and round eyes of medium size. Strong jaws and wide underjaw, excellent bite. Medium neck, well set. Strong forechest, deep and capacious. Firm topline. Well set and carried tail. He scores in substance and strength over elegance. Moderate angulation behind. Lovely coat and colour. He moved with a good flick-up and with plenty of forward action.
2. Lyndatzu Love Bug
Another very attractive dog for his balance and outline. Typical head, well rounded and with a well placed nose. Very friendly in his temperament. Good rise of neck, well set. Deep and capacious chest. Well set tail, but not always carried as well as it could be. Another active and balanced mover with good flick-up. Coat under development, but with very good structure.
3. Middletune Billy The Kid
Limit Dog (5)
A good class with the first three in a class of their own.
1. Mifach’s by Royal Command to Javerda
Beautifully balanced dog of excellent type and quality. Very well proportioned and with star quality. He has a very well made head, even if just large enough. Well rounded skull, well placed nose, excellent pigmentation. Expressive dark and round eyes. He has had an injury to his front teeth, but they have obviously been there. Well set neck into shoulder, excellent topline, tailset and tail carriage. Very pleasing coat quality. Balanced angulation both ends. His excellent construction shows up in movement as he is so well balanced and easy, still strong and with a good flick-up. Overall a lovely dog, pleased to award him his first CC
2. Rossvale Wildest Dream JW
Another dog with excellent type and quality. Strong and masculine, well rounded head with excellent expression from his round dark eyes. Muzzle of correct length and width. Strong neck, well set. Lovely tail which matches his neck. Moderately angulated hindquarters. In an excellent coat. Kept his balance on the move, but not as impressive as the winner in movement.
3. Middletune Blazzin Saddles JW
Open Dog (11,6)
1. Ch. Senousi Dressed for It by Fairmere
Fully mature dog with a lovely silhouette and proportions, instantly attractive. Masculine, well shaped head with a well rounded skull and excellent width between his eyes, although showing a bit of white. Strong and square jaws. Strong, well set neck into shoulder, excellent topline. Balanced angulation both ends. Lovely tail, matching his neck. In a superb coat of excellent structure. He kept his shape and balance on the move, but could do with some more animation. ResCC.
2. Ch. Paliden Simply A Star with Wharfeview
Another very attractive dog of excellent type and quality, well down to ground and covering very good ground both standing and moving. Strong, masculine head with open features. Excellent round and dark eyes. Moderate neck. Firm topline when standing. Well angulated both ends. In a lovely coat, very well presented. He used his legs well on the move, but tended to roach up a little in his topline on the move.
3. Ch.Dk.Swed.Norw.Int.Ch. Mifcah’s The King and I JW
Special Beginners (1)
1. Middletune Billy The Kind
Still obviously young, but with quality. He has an attractive head with a well rounded skull and lovely expression. A bit upright in his front, he could do with more layback of upper arm. Firm topline, well set and carried tail. Still needs to gain some more body volume. Well cared for coat of pleasing structure. Could do with some more angulation behind. He moved with a very good carriage and well synchronized.
Minor Puppy Bitch (1)
1. Rossvale’s Got The Look
Very attractive bitch puppy with a star appeal and at eight months old already a real show dog. Lovely head and expression from well set, dark round and large eyes. Excellent nose placement and a typical chrysanthemum head overall. Excellent neck, well set into shoulder, firm topline. Well set and carried tail. Still needs to drop a little into her hindquarters. Excellent coat. Moved with a lovely balance and carriage, most of the time, if not always, in sync. Definitely champion material. Best Puppy.
Puppy Bitch (5,4)
1. Honeyshuchun Dark Goddess
Ten months old very feminine bitch on the fine side and needs to gain some more substance with age. Attractive feminine head with pleasing expression, could do with some more width of jaw. Pleasing neck. At this time a little high behind in her balance and needs to drop into her hindquarters. Lovely coat, well presented. Unfortunately she did not want to make the best of her tail on the move.
Junior Bitch (8,2)
1. Pinyinz Sugar Hiccups
A strong bitch, very well made and of excellent type and quality, I liked her a lot. Just lovely head with an amazingly beautiful expression from her dark, large round eyes. Lovely pigmentation. Well rounded skull. Excellent neck into shoulders. She is low set and still mobile. Excellent topline, well set and reasonably carried tail. Lovely coat quality, she does not need to grow more of it. Moved soundly and typically from all angles.
2. Jadetemple Jaci Higgins at Daltricia
Another very attractive bitch. Feminine and elegant, yet substantial enough. Typical feminine head with excellent dark, round eyes. Could do with a stronger jaw. Well set neck into shoulders. Firm topline. Well set tail. In a very good coat. She moved light on her feet and kept her balance well.
3. Shihzarbruno Angel Baggins for Quingshui

1. Sassyshi Cake by The Ocean with Shirkeira JW
A bitch of very pleasing type and quality. She has a classical, beautiful head with a lovely expression from her well spaced, dark and round eyes of excellent size. Well placed nose, excellent pigmentation. Good rise of neck. Firm topline, well set tail. Enough body width for her age. I would prefer more angulation behind. She moved light on her feet and effortlessly.

Post Graduate (7,6)
1. Lyndatzu Truly Scrumptious
Feminine bitch of very pleasing type and quality. Attractive, well balanced feminine head with pleasing expression. Good rise of neck. At this time a bit higher behind than in the front, and her tail could be higher set. Very moderate angulation behind. Lovely coat, well cared for. She moved soundly from all angles, if not spectacularly.
Limit Bitch (6,1)
1. Honeyschuchun Sand Goddess
Very attractive bitch, well balanced and low to ground without sacrificing mobility. Lovely head with well placed dark and round eyes, well placed nose, excellent pigmentation. Strong neck, well set into a firm topline, if a little high behind. Lovely tail which balances the neck. Moderate, but balanced angulation both ends. In a lovely coat of excellent structure. Moved soundly from all angles.
2. Cremefern Pretty Gorgeous
Another very attractive black and white bitch, somewhat more up on legs and I would not want any more length of leg than this. She tends to hide her expression a bit, but a well set nose with good size and excellent placement and pigmentation. Excellent rise of neck, and she used that neck to her advantage both standing and moving. Excellent tailset and tail carriage. She moved with energy and pride and a good flick-up.
3. Rossvale Dreaming Again
Open Bitch (9,3)
1. Ch. Santosha Silhouette
A simply stunning bitch as close to my ideal of the breed as you can hope to get. Outstanding as for breed type, proportions, construction and quality. I like absolutely everything about her, and she has every quality in a remarkable degree. Just about the perfect outline for the breed, her name could not suit her better. Lovely expressive head with all the important features. Perfect coat quality. And then she moved like a million dollars. To me, this is one of the best Shih Tzus ever. What more could you possibly ask for? CC & BOB.
2. Isishouse Miss Moneypenny for Chellanda
Another lovely bitch of excellent type and quality. Truly beautiful head with the most gorgeous expression from her dark, well spaced round eyes, perfect nose placement and length. Talk about chrysanthemum! Lovely neck, well set. Strong topline, Excellent proportions. Excellent tail. Another who moved well from all angles, if not quite as outstanding as the winner. Would have loved to give this bitch a CC, but even one as lovely as this could not really compete with the winner. ResCC.
