Veteran Dog (2)

Two very good Vallhunds, even if rather different

1. Ch. Valladar Call of Duty

The winner is a strong, masculine dog, excelling in substance and proportions, but I would not want him any stronger than this. Masculine head, fitting the rest of him. Lovely expression from his dark, well shaped eyes and very good ears. Correct stop and length of skull, but would not want a longer muzzle. Strong neck, excellent front, including forechest and layback of upper arm. Strong, firm topline, deep chest. Balanced angulation behind. In excellent coat. A very strong, sound and purposeful mover. CC & BOB and Best Veteran

2. Starvon Dark Night With Valltineya

A more elegant dog, another with very pleasing proportions and outline. He excels in lenght and set-on of neck, topline and tailset. Could do with some more strength to his head, especially in skull. Pleasing front construction. Balanced angulation both ends. In a very good coat and in excellent condition for his age. Another who moved well from all angles. ResCC.

Puppy Dog (1)

1. Starvon Get The Drinks In For Monascreebe

A very promising puppy who has come quite a long way already. He is well proportioned and has quality. His head however still needs to finish and he needs to gain more stop with age. Pleasing eyes and expression. Well set ears. Very good rise of neck. At this time a little, but just a little, high behind in his topline. Balanced angulation both ends. In a very good coat. He moved soundly and well coordinated from all angles. Best Puppy.

Junior Dog (1)

1. Valltineya Red Redemption

A particularly good moving dog, very well balanced, looking his age, one year old. Typical, masculine head with a good skull and excellent stop. Very well set and carried ears. Eyes could be darker. Excellent rise of neck, very well set. Balanced angulation both ends. His topline is perfect and well balanced, but he still needs to body up to make a mature overall picture. Excellent coat and colour. Outstanding side movement, so well co-ordinated and free, very good coming and going as well. A dog for the future.

Limit Dog (1)

1. Eriksfjord Kairissimo

At six years old, this dog scores in elegance, but I would prefer him stronger and more masculine all over. Same thing goes for his head which is well balanced, but needs more strength to it. Very good ears. Very pleasing expression. Moderate neck and angulation both ends. I would prefer him to cover more ground standing. Very good topline and tailset. Excellent coat and markings. A normal, sound mover from all angles.

Open Dog (1)

1. Ch. Tanellis Blooming William

Strong, masculine dog, covering plenty of ground, I would not want him any longer in body than this. Typical head with enough width of skull, pleasing ears. Very good expression. Crested neck, well set into shoulders. Could do with some more length of leg. Firm topline, well set tail. Lovely temperament. Well angulated behind. Not in the best coat condition, his underwool strongly breaking though his topcoat at this time. Sound, purposeful mover.

Veteran Bitch (1)

1. Ir.Ch. Eriksfjord Celestian Charm

Nine year old bitch in fine form and very lively. She has a feminine head, could do with some more width of skull and some more stop. Excellent ears. Medium neck. Moderate angulation both ends, I would prefer some more turn of stifle. Deep and capacious body, firm topline, well set tail. In a very good coat. She scores in movement, very nice and easy and sound coming and going, even if I would not want her any wider in front.

Puppy Bitch (1)

1. Pepperthyme Jeroboam

A smart bitch, feminine and eye-catching at nine months very promising. She will need to grow more strength of head with age. Pleasing expression and ears. Crested neck, somewhat sharply set. Moderate layback of shoulder and upper arm. Firm, straight topline, well set tail. Well angulated behind. Excellent coat, colour and markings. She moved briskly and kept her outline on the move.

Junior Bitch (4,1)

1. Valltineya Bella Star

Quite a mature bitch at 12 months old, she already is fully bodied with both depth and volume. Very good skull, enough stop, medium colour of eyes. Very pleasing ears. Long neck, well set, good return of upper arm. I would not like a longer body than this, a bit high behind standing, but this evened out in movement. Balanced angulation behind. She was easily the best side mover in the class, but could still settle a bit in front. Excellent coat. ResCC.

2. Valaller Paparazzi

17 months old bitch, very feminine and attractive in many ways, but rather short coupled for my preference. Typical feminine head, enough stop. Pleasing eyes and ears. Good neck and forechest. Firm topline, well set and carried tail. Very pleasing coat. Well handled. She moved parallel coming and going, but without the extension of the winner either ends.

3. Valaller Strike A Pose

Post Graduate Bitch (2)

1. Valltineya Galadriel

Well proportioned bitch with a very pleasing outline. Her very light eyes spoiled her expression, but her head is well balanced and proportions. Excellent ears. Very good rise of neck. Balanced angulation both ends. I would not want her any wider in front. Firm topline, good tailset. In a very good coat and excellent colour and markings. She is a nicely balanced mover, well coordinated and free.

2. Valaller Paparazzi

Limit Bitch (1)

1. Starvon Fits The Standard At Eriksfjord

A very feminine bitch, I prefer more substance all over. The same thing goes for her head, needs more width of skull and not a longer muzzle. Her blaze is acceptable, but does not add to her expression. Very good ears. Pleasing rise of neck. Moderate angulation both ends. Firm topline, good tailset. Would like more strength of bone on her. In a very good top coat, a little lacking in undercoat. Moved light on her feet.

Open Bitch (2,1)

1. Valaller Rainmaker

A very well balanced bitch with excellent proportions and shape. Attractive feminine head with a good skull and stop. Excellent ears. Good rise of neck. Excellent topline. Moderate, balanced angulation both ends. Reasonable tailset. Not in her best coat today, but within reason. She moved very well at all times keeping a smart outline, balanced, energetic and well co-ordinated. With something in hand the best bitch here today. Congratulations on making her up a champion with the CC.
