1ST 5936 - Manchando’s Sugar Almond (Mrs M A Horscraft)

4th in minor puppy dog. Quite pleasing head and eye shape, good pigment. Moderate front angulation, pleasing bone and straight forelegs. Body of good depth, longer in loin. He had well muscled quarters and stifles well turned, hocks well down. Very co-ordinated on the move.

2ND 5957 - Cubalibre Solar Eclipse (Miss M Newton O Brien)

Ultra compact liver spotted dog who was a little more balanced than 1. Head still needs time to break although he has good eye colour. Shoulders a little forward placed and has a tendency to slope off. Ribbed well back, short loin. Firm muscular body and pristine condition. Balanced in his angulation and showed glimpses of strong, free ground covering movement but was misbehaving on the move.

1ST 6014 - Salvadorada Heads Will Roll (Ms K Wilkins)

Handsome liver spotted dog who is quite mature for his age. Pleasing head shape and eye colour, excellent pigment. Clean though the neck and front, shoulders well laid back and with straight well boned legs and excellent feet. Good depth of body and ribbed well back, holds his outline standing and moving, tail well set and carried. True fore and aft and covering the ground easily in profile with a rhythmic action. Clear white jacket and attractively spotted, once I considered in the challenge.

2ND 6028 - Millbelle Thunderfire JW (Miss J M Wright)

Another liver spotted dog that had instant appeal for his sound free, effortless movement. Head developing well, long neck, shoulders quite well positioned. Straight well boned legs and good feet, could be a little firmer in pasterns. Level topline, ribbed well back and firm thought the loin, tail well set and carried. Still needs a little more body development. Presented in excellent muscletone.

Clean through the neck, moderate angulation, correct for bone and he has tight well arched feet. Firm body, ribbed well back, short loin. Moves out to advantage in profile on a rhythmic stride. Would prefer better tail carriage.

Slightly rangier dog than 1 and still needing time to develop a little all through. Appealing head shape, dark eyes and a pleasing expression. Good forehand, straight well boned legs and excellent feet. Body developing well, still needing to firm in topline. Moves positively out and back and covers the ground on a lengthy stride.

1ST 5937 - Decoda's Crackerjack JW (Mrs H J Howard)

Liver spotted dog who I felt was a comfortable winner of this class, well grown but he is all of a piece and has excellent balance. Masculine head, pleasing head, moderate stop, good eye colour. He has a good forehand with shoulders well positioned, pleasing bone and well arched feet. Ribbed well back and firm in loin although he still needs a little time to fill out but this will come with maturity. Firm level topline, excellent tail set and carriage, moved soundly in all directions.

Sound and positive when he moves in all directions and shown in sparkling condition and excellent muscletone,

2ND 5980 - Jasquarella Edge of Winter at Palouse (Miss V & Mr M Robbins & Hensman)

Well marked dog who has immediate appeal on the first look around for his excellent size and balance. Really comes into his own on the move with a long rhythmic stride. Firm in body and well ribbed back, level topline which never falters, just wish he was a little less proud of his tail.

A quality dog who was on top form here, classical in outline, nothing overdone. Liver spotted male, head of good balance, amber eyes of correct shape well set, defined stop. Clean though the neck, excellent forehand, just the tight amount of bone, firm pasterns and excellent feet. Good depth of brisket, ribbed well back and a firm, level topline which never falters standing or moving. His tail is well set and carried. Firm well muscled rear, stifles well bent and hocks well let down. At his best when he moves, precise fore and aft and an excellent profile gait, smooth and effortless covering the ground with ease. Like her head and eye, defined stop and pleasing expression and eye colour. Steady, positive ground covering movement and looking like she could easily go all day.

Clear back spotting and clear white background, very feminine head, dark eyes of pleasing shape. Neck of medium length, pleasing forehand, straight well boned legs and excellent feet. Ribs are carried well back, but more immature than 1 in body at present, firm in topline and tail well set and carried. Moving out with positivity in all directions, just not the extension of 1.

Litter sister to the winner of puppy bitch, and very similar in outline. Ribs well developed and carried well back, strong through the loin, excellent topline and tail set. Out going attitude and in the best of muscletone. Moves on a long free stride, covering the ground with ease. I strongly considered her in the challenge, I’m sure she has an assured future ahead. BP shortlisted in the puppy group.

1ST 5926 - Faernaur Celeste for Steyndal (Mr S J Fellows)

Beautifully marked black spotted bitch with a pleasing profile. Stands on straight well boned forelegs and well manicured, well arched feet. Body of good depth and ribbing, firm in loin and topline. Ideal muscletone and well conditioned in body, moves out with positivity in all directions and really uses herself when moving in profile. Just a little stronger in head than my preference.

2ND 5899 - Fakenham Fontanella (Mr S J & Mrs L J Bolt)

Another quality bitch and it was a difficult decision between these two. This bitch has the edge on head and expression, understated and undoubtedly feminine. Firm level topline which doesn’t falter either standing or moving, well balanced in her angulation and shown in the best of physical condition. Just maybe not the freedom of 1 moving in profile.

3RD 6022 - Decoda's Toffee Apple (Mrs E L & Mrs H J Williamson & Howard)

Exuberant black spotted bitch who appealed immediately for her excellent outline, pleasing head and expression, undoubtedly feminine, dark eyes, moderate stop and ears well set. Presented in optimum condition and showing her heart out, pleased to award her 1st CC.

2ND 5969 - Sophtspot Oops A Daisy of Lyndalla (Mrs W & Miss E Pratt)

One I have judged recently and admired then, clear white coat and well decorated black spots. Of pleasing size and substance but retaining femininity, excellent head of good proportions, pleasing eye colour and enough stop. Shoulders well laid back, well boned legs, firm, well ribbed body. Moves on a long stride using her well muscled quarters to advantage.

Has a great bond with her handler which is so evident to see.

2ND 5904 - Ellemstra Tough Cookie at Shacarlu (Mrs C Burrows)

Black spotted bitch who is approaching 5, excellent profile enough bone and with the best of feet. Shoulders well positioned, good depth of brisket, well ribbed back, firm in loin. Holding her outline at all all times. Rhythmic free mover who covers the ground on a long easy stride, not in her best coat here.
