PD (1 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: 5143 CLACK, Mr & Mrs Stephen & Elaine & BATLLE-HUNTER, Mr Krisbos Leonidas With Molokain (IKC) Liver dog with a pleasing outline, correct size for his age, strong and upstanding. Wedge shaped head of correct proportions, slight stop, brown oval shaped eyes of pleasing shape, quite small ears well set, neck of medium length, straight well boned forelegs and excellent round, well arched feet. Body of good depth, developing well, firm in topline, with pleasing tail set and carriage. Moderate rear angulation, well muscled quarters, hocks well let down. Moved positively in all directions, once settled. Dark liver coat of crisp curls. JD (3 Entries) Abs: 1 1st: 5173 STEPHENS, Mr & Mrs J & M B Brightmeadow Rumour Has It JW Medium sized black dog who is typical in outline. Not the biggest but of pleasing size and overall balance. Excellent head, wedge shaped, slight stop, large dark oval shaped eyes. Strong neck, free from throatiness. Moderate front angulation, excellent well boned legs and round, well arched feet. Deep in chest, ribs well sprung, still needing to firm in topline. Strong muscular quarters, hocks well let down. Moved positively in all directions. 2nd: 5150 EDWORTHY, Mrs Margaret & EDWORTHY, Mr Martin Brightmeadow Man Of Steel Litter brother to 1 and another with a typical outline. Masculine head of correct shape, and equal balance. Slight stop, dark eyes of correct colour. Strong neck, would prefer his shoulders to be better laid back, well boned legs and good feet. Body has good depth, firm in topline, muscular quarters and hocks well let down. Shown in optimum coat of excellent crisp curls. A little erratic moving. PGD (4 Entries) Abs: 1 1st: 5137 BARBER, Mrs Heather S. & BARBER, Miss Beatrix & BA Tonispada Vuori Vincent By Blanshard Medium sized dog who presents an excellent outline standing. Wedge shaped head of correct balance, moderate stop. Large dark eyes. Strong neck of medium length, would prefer a little more angulation front and rear but he is balanced front and rear. Stands on round, well arched feet. Deep chest, strong level topline. Excellent coat, a mass of tight curls. Moved ok fore and aft but could cover more ground in profile. 2nd: 5159 HAYES, Miss V J & MOORE, Mr Alan Roughyeds Regal Weir Younger than 1 and more adolescent at present. Appealing in head, which is of correct balance, dark eyes large in shape with a moderate stop. Excellent bone, straight forelegs, needs to firm a little in feet and pasterns. Body has good depth and ribbing, slight tuck up. Strong muscular hindquarters which are well angulated. Still needing to firm on the move and giving his handler a hard time here. 3rd: 5135 ARNOLD, Miss Rachel & DOBSON, Mr James Roughyeds Regal George At Treecave LD (2 Entries) Abs: 1 1st: 5175 SUTTON, Mrs Ellen & WHITEHEAD, Mrs D J & WHITEHEAD Foxriever Grey Ghost Up to size, masculine liver dog. Strong enough in head, although it is well balanced, pleasing eye shape and colour, small ears, high set. Neck of medium length, strong legs, well boned and round, well arched feet. Deep in chest, firm in topline, firm through the loin. A little steep in croup, well muscled hindquarters and stifles well turned. Moved ok fore and aft. OD (6 Entries) Abs: 0 1st: 5160 HODSON, Mrs Helen Rowancurl Gentle Gaelor Black dog who makes an impressive profile standing, ideal balance and of correct size. Well proportioned head of pleasing balance, moderate stop, large oval shaped eyes, could perhaps be a shade darker. Deep and well ribbed body, firm thought the loin, moderate tuck up, firm level topline, tail well set and carried. Muscular quarters, hocks well let down. Moves on a positive stride, covering the ground easily in all directions. Excellent coat, a mass of tight curls, well presented. RCC 2nd: 5174 STUBBS, Miss Jillian Brightmeadow Take Your Time At Densdale Excellent head and eye on this dog, his head is of ideal balance with a moderate stop and small ears high set. Large dark eyes and a pleasing expression. Clean through the neck, moderate front angulation, stands on the best of feet and with straight well boned legs. Deep in body, well ribbed, topline strong and level. Tail a little high set. Parallel on the move and covering the ground easily in profile. 3rd: 5168 PARKER-MILES, Mrs Selina Sh Ch Tengore Mr Moonlight GCD (2 Entries) Abs: 1 1st: 5174 STUBBS, Miss Jillian Brightmeadow Take Your Time At Densdale As previous class SBD (2 Entries) Abs: 1 1st: 5135 ARNOLD, Miss Rachel & DOBSON, Mr James Roughyeds Regal George At Treecave 3rd in PGD. On the smaller side of the height scale, positive on the move. Could have a little more bone and substance all through and I would prefer better ribbing, could also firm in topline, presented in excellent coat. VD/B (2 Entries) Abs: 1 1st: 5171 STEPHENS, Mr & Mrs J & M B Sh Ch Brightmeadow Never Say Die JW Sh.CM I judged this dog as a puppy and awarded him highly then and my opinion hasn’t changed. Typical in outline, upstanding and elegant. His head is masculine, wedge shaped, slight stop, large dark brown oval shaped eyes. Strong neck which is slightly arched, his shoulders are well laid back and muscular, set well under his body. Straight well boned legs and firm pasterns and standing on round, tight well arched feet. Deep chest, ribs well sprung, strong firm topline. Strong muscular quarters which he used to best advantage on the move, hocks well let down. Tail, well set and carried, moved with positivity fore and aft and in profile covering the ground on an easy stride, in total union with his handler. Coat of crisp curls, covering body, very well presented. I was pleased to award him the CC & BOB. Neck of good length, shoulders well positioned and with correct amount of bone and excellent feet. Deep and well ribbed body, firm through the loin and in topline, tail well set and carried. Moved out freely in all directions. 2nd: 5164 MORGAN, Mrs Doreen Kandrelli Northern Pintail Black bitch of pleasing proportions. Has an appealing head of good balance, moderate stop, large dark eyes oval in shape. Firm in topline, deep and well ribbed body, muscular quarters, stifles well turned. Moved positively fore and aft. PGB (9 Entries) Abs: 4 1st: 5170 PERKINS, Mr B J & Mrs S M Maycourt Miss Sweetness At Tengore Well grown bitch with a pleasing outline, head of correct shape, correct balance, eyes almond shaped and of good colour. Neck of medium length, shoulders could be better positioned but she does have good bone and excellent feet. Firm in topline, excellent ribbing, firm though the loin. Tail well set and carried, moved in a co-ordinated fashion. 2nd: 5167 MOSKOWITZ, Mrs Andrea Louise Ravenho Mochara Cadeaux A size smaller than 1 all through but maintaining good balance, head is developing well, wedge shaped. Large dark eyes, oval in shape. Strong neck of good length, muscular quarters well laid back, deep body, firm topline and good tail carriage. Shown in optimum body and muscletone. Coat was a mass of crisp curls, moved ok. 3rd: 5147 DISLEY, Mr D R Firecurl Redwing LB (4 Entries) Abs: 1 1st: 5158 HAYES, Miss V J & CHATTWOOD, Miss Caron & WALTON, Gorchest's Pendlecurl's Rising Star At Pepperiever Medium sized bitch with an excellent coat of thick, tight curls. Stands on excellent feet, well boned legs, pleasing forehand. Compact, deep body, firm topline. Well ribbed body, compact in loin. Pleasing muscletone and moving out positively in all directions. 2nd: 5136 BAIN, Mr Leslie & BAIN, Mrs Diane & BAIN, Mr Mathe Crimblescurl Time To Tango At Wenichones JW Rangier bitch of pleasing size, not quite the head of 1, dark eyes of good size and small ears high set. Pleasing front angulation, although I would prefer a little more bone. Longer cast body, not quite the ribbing of 1. Tail well set and carried. Co-ordinated when moving. 3rd: 5166 MOSKOWITZ, Mrs Andrea Louise Brightmeadow Moondance OB (4 Entries) Abs: 2 1st: 5141 CLACK, Mr&mrs Stephen & Elaine & EDDERY, Mr Edward Molokain Hocus Pocus Black bitch of medium sized with an appealing outline, excellent head of correct balance, moderate stop, large dark eyes. Strong and slightly arched neck, balanced in her angulation, correct bone and well arched feet. Deep in body, ribs well developed, firm through the loin and topline strong and level. Muscular hindquarters, hocks well let down, moved out on an even stride covering the ground easily in all directions. Excellent coat, well presented. BCC 2nd: 5172 STEPHENS, Mr & Mrs J & M B Brightmeadow Who's That Girl Liver bitch who is shapely in outline. Wedge shaped head of good balance, eyes large but could be slightly darker in colour. Strong, slightly arched neck, pleasing front, good bone and excellent feet. Deep and well developed body, could be firmer in topline.
