Breed: Briard

A quality entry although not numerically high. All dogs had the required hind double dewclaws. I found that the classic J tails which are breed specific characteristic are becoming less distinct and this needs to be watched.

1st: Kass, Miss K D Fostebrie I Am Mika @ Kimarlaz, 10 months well grown fawn male in good coat and condition. Head of good proportions and eye of good shape and colour. Liked his front, with good depth of chest and correct rib, correct height to length proportions, moved with ease. BPIB

2nd: Foster, Mrs C & Spencer Mrs Julie Fostebrie Just Ganache, 6 months baby and very raw. Liked his overall shape, eye of correct colour, good pigment and mouth. pleasing temperament, moved ok.

1st: Fieldsend, Mr Mrs Trevor & Angie Honey I'm Home Moravia Companella At Starwell, 14 Month fawn who was eye catching when standing with a classic profile and balanced angulation. Liked his head proportions and excellent pigment. Did not disappoint on the move with a lovely sidegate. Look forward to seeing him when he is finished. RCC

1st: Curren, Mrs D E Stormymoon Odin ShCEx RL5ex, 2 black dogs, mature male with lots to like was impressed by his excellent muscle tone and overall condition. His coat was of good length and correct dry texture. He has the correct J tail and his tail carriage was good. To be critical would prefer a little more length of body. Easy mover

2nd: Humphreys, Mrs Megan & Humphreys, Mr Paul Fostebrie Chevalier Noir Sui Jun Ch, not so mature as 1, liked head and expression, good front assembly, correctly ribbed, would prefer just a little less loin. Coat of correct texture but not wearing his best jacket. Preferred tail carriage of 1.

1st: Foster Mrs C Ch & Sui Ch Fostebrie Just Unique Jun Ch Lux OSW J, moderate size male, liked his head with correct balance of skull to muzzle, kind eye with good expression. Looking good in profile, he did not disappoint with the hands on. Liked his front with decent forechest, correctly sprung rib and excellent topline. Moved with ease, CC and BOB

2nd: Snelling Mrs J Ch Beaugency Bearly Bouzy, male of good size standing proudly and handled to advantage. Typical head with excellent expression, neck of good length, preferred the front of 1, excellent topline and well carried tail. Today a little out of coat.

3rd: Wescott-Smith, Mrs T & Smith Mr S & Rual Mr N & NL Ch Int Ch Ch Ir Ch Be Ch Lux Ch Gilcoru Sauvign

1st: Kellett ,Mrs S Anne & BURROW, Miss I S Fostebrie Exotique Noir Of Kellbry JW Sh.CM, shapely black girl, elegant well carried neck, good topline and tail carriage, good reach in front, not so positive on the rear.

1st: Foster, Mrs C Fostebrie Hope's Sensation, still very much the baby with a feminine head, liked her overall body shape with balanced angulation and lovely free and easy movement.

1st: Verbakel, Dr R & Westcott-Smith Mrs T Sunrise Madison Dilorini, smaller made fawn girl, a little hesitant today, she has much to like though with a super topline, eye of correct shape and colour, good mouth and when she pulls herself up a lovely neck. Would like a little more leg length for balance.

1st: Snelling Mrs J Zhamanen Bezique For Beaugency (Imp Fin), black girl who won this class on her excellent movement. Feminine head of correct proportions, angulation both front and back is balanced and she has the correct height to length of body. Lovely forward reach and excellent side gait. RCC

2nd: WESCOTT-SMITH, Mrs T & SMITH, Mr S Vivienne De L'Arene Noire At Rozimba (Imp Bel) Bel, Liked her head and expression with good eye and correct black rims. Pleasing neck into reasonable shoulder, found her a little narrow in front. Liked her length of leg. A little short stepping on the move.

1st: Foster Mrs C Ch & NL Ch Lux Ch Int Ch Sui Ch Fostebrie Precious ,black 7 year old girl in who dominated the ring and impressed with her easy flowing movement. Her head is of good balance with kind eye full of character, correct black rims, good mouth and excellent pigment complete with big black nose! Liked her front with excellent shoulder, strong topline, and good turn of stifle. Coat of correct texture. Handled to advantage. BCC and BV

2nd: Snelling Mrs J Ch Beaugency Bellini, another beautiful fawn girl and I loved her breed type. Looking good in profile with correct balance of height to length, liked her topline, croup and tailset. Easy movement but just preferred the rear movement of 1.

3rd: Coleman Miss L J Ch Jandade Shooting Star To Hartswelin JW
