Fosse Data Open Stakes Dog

Hound/Gundog Open Dog (30): this was a strong class with quality right down the line.

1. Oddie’s Sh Ch Sharnphilly Boon Doggle, Pointer male out of the top drawer and at his very best, a series of graceful curves, well made all through with correct, bone, very good feet, super body properties and so well made behind, totally sound out and back and carries himself so well in profile with his head held just right, bee sting tail, pleased to see him later win the gundog group;

2. Woodworth’s Ch Armardio Fire Starter, Basset Hound who I admired and rewarded recently at a breed club open show, quality male of super type, totally unexaggerated, well made fore and aft with good rib, topline and set on of stern, sound in all directions, a pleasure to judge him again;

3. Rhodes’ Ch Priorpark You Coda Be Mine at Metalrock, Rhodesian Ridgeback out of the top drawer who it was a pleasure to see again, having given him a puppy group at an open show.

Hound/Gundog Open Bitch (34):

1. Ford’s Liric Just Remember Me, quality Gordon Setter, feminine and full of breed type, pleasing head, well made front and rear, correct legs and feet and moved well in all directions where she carried her outline well

2. Black and McKinley’s Rottzridge Perihelion at Gileeja, Rhodesian Ridgeback, this bitch was shown in pristine condition. She has the very best of muscle throughout her strong powerful body. Good front and good behind. Lots to like overall and she is a strong, sound mover in all directions.

3. Russell’s Ch Shiroblam Serendipity, Basset Fauve de Bretagne

Fosse Data Systems Brace Stakes

AV Hound/Gundog (22):

1. Fairbairn and Madigan’s Cocker bitches, mother and daughter pair who were so similar, Cockery typical blues of pleasing size, cobby and very merry, sound on the move and went in unison, even their tails wagged as one!

2. Stuart’s tricolour Beagle bitches, two very similar quality, typical girls, tricolour, similar size, proportions and sound on the move;

3. Chandler’s Welsh Springer Spaniels, another typical and similar pairing.
