1st Place 4052 - Cobhay Dashing Dandelion (Mrs J, Mrs D & Miss P Williams & Toublic), nearly 10

months liver/white of pleasing size, good bone and strong hindquarters, pleasing

topline maintained on the move, needs time for body and rib, sound mover,

has one issue which will hold him back in competition;

1st Place 4018 - Calvdale with Respect (Mr & Mrs M Calvert), quality youngster of lovely

type and a look of quality, correct proportions and balance, well-made front with

good neck, presented and conditioned to the highest order as are all from this kennel,

excellent bone and feet, good body and rib, strong hindquarters, sound mover, one

for the future;

1st Place 4039 - Peasblossom Brogan at Gaolachcara (Ms Stevenson), fit youngster shown in

good musculature, excellent bone and feet, sound on the move, just needs time for

body and eyes to darken;

1st Place 4041 - Beresford Bolt from The Blue (Mrs T E Topliss), black/white whose head

appealed, scored here in front and hindquarters which he used to drive well, well

boned legs, good rib and strong loin, pleasing overall picture;

2nd Place 4028 - Eastriding Royal Black (Mrs K Jenkinson), another black/white of similar size

and proportions, pleasing outline and presented and handled to advantage,

good rib and strong loin,

3rd Place 4035 - Cherishym Draconis (Mr P & Mrs Y Richardson & Terry-Richardson)

Class 1442. Open Dog

1st Place 4047 - Sh Ch Sandylands Stand N Deliver (Mrs T E Topliss), masculine dog without

a hint of coarseness, has the correct balance for the breed, really pleasing head and

eye, well made front, excellent bone, deep chest and well sprung ribs, muscular

 hindquarters with well let down hock, comes into his own on the move, sound and

true out and back and super easy stride in profile, forelegs swing forward from the

shoulder in breed typical fashion, would just prefer better feet,

for overall package I felt he was most worthy of the CC and pushed hard for BOB;

2nd Place 4017 - Sh Ch Calvdale Scaramouche Jones JW (Mr & Mrs M Calvert), another l/w very

much in the mould of what is expected from this kennel, pleasing head shape, neck of

good length set into good shoulders, well boned with super feet, well sprung ribs and

muscular loin, well let down hocks, sound mover, pleased to award him the RCC;

3rd Place 4015 - Dk Ch(u) Sieger´s Easter Day (Miss V Borregaard Madsen)

Class 1443. Veteran Dog

1st Place 4044 - Sh Ch Beresford Night Train (Mrs T E Topliss), this l/w really appealed, so much the correct outline and

balance as is required, completely unexaggerated but very correct, lovely head and eye, well made front and

rear with correct body and topline, so sound and true on the move, pleasure to judge;

2nd Place 4023 - Roqfolly Black Label (Mrs J M Crabtree), 11 years black and white shown in lovely condition and still

enjoying his showing days, excellent body proportions, went happily even in the heat of the day, credit to his

owner;

1st Place 4021 - Carlyquinn Winter Storm (Mrs H & Mr L & Ms L M Cokell & Nicklin & Ainsley), well developed feminine

bitch of pleasing type, pleasing head, good legs and feet, well developed through body and hindquarters,

sound mover who went well in all directions, BP with ease;

2nd Place 4054 - Cobhay Heavenly Hydrangea (Mrs J, Mrs D & Miss P Williams & Toublic), littermate to the PD, pleasing

overall, sound on the move, would prefer more bone, substance and rib, needs time;

Class 1446. Junior Bitch

1st Place 4020 - Elazlan Coronation Day (Miss E Chandler), what a beautiful quality bitch full of type, liked her size, outline

and balance, has substance without anything being overdone, lovely head shape which is accentuated by

correct eye shape and colour, lovely neck and shoulders well bone legs and tight feet, good body and rib,

hindquarters strong, topline kept on the move, so sound out and back and looks best in profile where she has

 a free and easy stride, still kept taking my eye in the challenge and was most deserving of RCC over two other

beautiful bitches, will follow her progress with real interest;

Class 1447. Yearling Bitch

1st Place 4038 - Sh Ch Melverly Iridescent (Mr R J Smith), what a picture this bitch portrays on the stack, absolutely

super shape and balance, looks a model for the breed, pleasing feminine head, so well made through neck and

shoulders, well boned legs and good feet, good body properties and really good hindquarters with broad thighs

and well let down hocks, sound on the move in all directions, however, she was giving her handler a hard time

wanting to get her nose on the ground, a delight to judge and I am sure that she will be winning lots more CCs;

2nd Place 4040 - Calvdale Half A Story Bethersden (Mr G & Mrs S Tolladay), black/white of pleasing overall type, pleasing

 head and eye, well bodied, sound mover, shown in lovely condition;

3rd Place 4048 - Shersona I Believe in Angels at Beresford (Mrs T E Topliss)

1st Place 4032 - Tiroen Typically Braego (kcj) (Mr P W Osbourne), l/w/t, feminine, rather up on the leg and needs time

to develop through body and rib, sound mover;

1st Place 4037 - Petranella Tipping The Wink JW (Ms C P Savell), good type honest l/w bitch, pleasing head shape with

Good bone and feet, good rib and body, covers the ground in profile;

2nd Place 4036 - Daenerys Moondancer to Cherishym (Mr P & Mrs Y Richardson & Terry-Richardson), another shown

in good condition, pleasing overall type, needs time to develop in body;

1st Place 4027 - Barecho Fame Queen at Eastriding (Imp Swe) (Mrs K Jenkinson), pleasing outline on this feminine bitch,

shown in good condition and well presented, sound enough on the move, a little fine in head and would prefer

more bone;

Class 1451. Open Bitch

Entries: 4 Absentees: 0 This was a good class with quality right down the line, a pleasure to judge.

1st Place 4022 - Sh Ch Trimere Time Fly’s (Miss S J Corbett), what a beautiful and most typical English Springer who

Immediately took my eye with her correct type and proportions with the correct length of leg and body balance,

at her mature best and shown in super condition, stood up to close scrutiny with lovely head shape and correct

eye, well made through neck, shoulders and front, super bone and feet, good body and rib, excellent hind

quarters with well let down hocks, very sound moving out and back going with drive from behind, in profile

covered the ground so easily with breed typical forward swing from the shoulder, fully deserved the CC and for

sheer class won BOB too over the very good dog, continued to shine in the group where I was pleased to see

her go Group 2, well done!;

2nd Place 4016 - Sh Ch Calvdale Flutter JW (Mr & Mrs M Calvert), one I have admired and judged before, I still have the

same high opinion of her, super shape and outline, all Springer in type, beautiful head with correct eye shape

and length of muzzle, clean neck into well angulated forequarters, good in body and rib, sound on the move,

presented so well and shown in super condition,

3rd Place 4019 - Sh Ch Sandylands Send The Roses (Mr E & Mrs E Casey & Jayes)

1st Place 4014 - Sh Ch Daenerys Winds of Winter (Miss L & Mr L Ainsley & Nicklin), good type very feminine bitch

shown in super condition, pleasing head and eye, well made fore and aft, good ribs and moved very well in all

directions, covered the ground so well, BV;

2nd Place 4024 - Ir Sh Ch Calvdale I Say of Fallenleaf Cjw18 Cw18 Cent’w (Mr G & Mrs J Cunliffe), another nice bitch,

feminine and of good type with pleasing head, well made through body, rib and hindquarters, loved her

Outgoing personality, quite a character!
