V. 1st Ch. Foxthyme Eleanor With Troutop. 12 year old female who has won well under me over the years and was great to see her again on excellent form despite the advancing years. Such an excellent example of the breed. Ideal size and proportions. Excellent head, dark eye and nicely set ears. So good on the table and moved easily with a brisk, moderate stride. Delighted to award her BVIB.

2nd Ch. Madincrowd Bathsheba. Another excellent female. A year younger than 1st and in equal excellent condition, this breed obviously ages well! Slightly longer in loin than 1st and not quite the eye shape or expression, but close-up nonetheless. Correct head shape, flat skull and set on parallel lines with muzzle. Fit in body. Moderate angulation and a sound mover.

3rd Taigwynion Ewart James.

PD. Parabar Posy’s Pawnee. 9 month old pup. Mature for his age with strong body and good muscle tone for his age. Lovely head for shape and proportions. Keen, dark eye. Excellent ear set and carriage. Medium neck. Excellent chest for this stage in development. Muscular loins. Moderate angles front and back. High set tail. Good coat and rich markings. Easy, free mover. Most promising. BPIB.

2nd Engongs Bruno. Lovely liver youngster. Smaller built all through than 1st and needs to firm up a bit in topline. Super type with excellent head, eye and ears. Good conformation with correct angles and well-set tail. Moved true in all directions.

JD. 1st Parabar Puzzling Pilot. Typey young male. Masculine and well boned but not heavy in any way. Good head with strength to muzzle and well proportioned. Well laid shoulder and return of upperarm. Good ribs. Just needs to strengthen in rear. Moved out well. Correct double coat.

PGD. 1st Lankeela Our Marnie. Super headed young male. Excellent ear set and uses well. Dark, almond eye. Topped the class on his excellent body proportions. At 2 years, still needs to mature fully and body-up but appeals for his overall type, sound conformation and easy movement. Jet black coat enhanced with rich tan markings. Tail could be better.

2nd Swanndale Walter Tybalt. Also 2 years old and like 1st needs time to mature. Smaller built overall. Very good head with parallel planes but could have a touch more fill under eye. Shade long in proportions. Moved ok. Lovely coat and condition.

3rd Swanndale Antony.

LD. 1st Welshmoor Hellofaboy. Gave this excellent example of the breed BP last time I judged. Now fully mature and pleased to see he has fulfilled all his early promise. Lovely head shape. Dark, almond eye giving required expression. A bit tense on the day and not really using his ears to advantage but they showed some lift. Muscular neck. Excellent chest. Firm topline. Good angulation. Excellent coat and well-defined markings. Sound mover. Unluckty to come up against the males in the Open class.

OD. 1st Ch. Taigwynion Johnny’s Boy At Swanndale. Excellent male looking the part. Good head with strength to skull, muzzle and ideally proportioned. Excellent ear set and carriage. Dark eye giving a characterful expression. Medium neck. Good shoulder. Firm topline. Mature in body. Moderate rear. Holds his tail correctly at all times. Excellent coat and condition. Smart, brisk mover. For me, ticked all the boxes and was pleased to award him the CC & BOB. Super!

2nd Ch. Lankeela You Go Boss At Foveaux. Very good liver who pushed the winner all the way. Pleasing proportions all through. Masculine head of correct shape. Good eye shape and tone for coat colour. Functional in outlook with excellent conformation, which was reflected on the move. High tail set, carried correctly. These 2 will probably change places many times over the coming show seasons. Res CC.

3rd Ch. Parabar Mohican’s Medlar.

SB. 1st Tudorbrook Hocus Pocus. Functional female whose size, balance and overall type appealed. Feminine head and expression but still retaining strength of skull and muzzle. Eager showgirl uses her ears to advantage. Carrying enough weight. Nicely made, excellent tail and moved well.

2nd Twizzlefoot Henrietta. Slightly younger female than 1st and not the maturity. Lovely character. Good overall outline. Needs to settle on the move.

JB. 1st Arenite Versu. Good for size and feminine in outlook. A touch long in loin but is well bodied and has good bone. Correct shaped head. Ears set a bit wide. Good eye shape. Excellent front angles. Has sufficient bone to support her frame. Tail ok. Moved very well in all directions. Good weatherproof coat of even colour and rich markings.

PGB. 1st T. Hocus Pocus.

2nd Hoscar Isabella. Nicely made and of excellent type and size. Liked her head and keen expression. Another that could be a shade shorter in loin but she holds a firm topline. Moved sound and true.

LB. 1st Foveaux Queens Gambit. Absolutely fell for this super young female. Functional for type having the desired size, bone and balance of outline. For me, she shouts quality. Correct head shape with width and strength to skull, good muzzle and excellent eye shape and colour. Medium neck. Balanced angles front and rear. Holds an excellent topline at all times. Stands on best feet. Moved soundly with a medium stride. Excellent coat and presentation. Expertly handled to allow her character to shine. Just loved her! CC.

2nd Parabar Primrosa. An absolutely quality female. Loved her size and strength of bone for her size. Typical head, eye and ears. Excellent body. Moved well. Unlucky to meet the winner on such fine form.

OB. 1st Ch. Selestar Salix Lutea With Foveaux. Another excellent representative from this exhibitor. Mature female of 5 years and very pleasing in all aspects. Note she is the dam of CC winner today. She has passed on many of her virtues, just preferring her daughters bang-on proportions. Lovely head and expression, excellent conformation and moved out accordingly. Pleased to award her a worthy Res CC.

2nd Ch. Madincrowd Mercy Chant. At 6 years old this well made female is at full maturity in body and condition. Superb head with good width to flat skull. Almond eye shape that could perhaps be a shade darker. Good ear set and size. Soundly made all through. Deep black colour and rich tan markings. Moved well enough, just not as settled going away as 1st. With many typical females (in fact, males too) present today, the breed seems to be in a good place right now.
