Shetland Sheepdog

MPD. 1st Beldones Just A Hunch. A delightful 6 month old pup to start the day. Love his shape at this stage. Good head, well balanced with slight stop. Excellent eye shape. Pleasing topline and angulation. Moved well from profile, sound rear and correct tail carriage. Lovely coat for a baby. Most promising.

2nd Dukeson The Cruzader. Slightly larger 6 month old pup. Pleasing overall shape and his excellent conformation reflects in his easy, true movement. A touch plainer in head than 1st but has a good eye and uses his well-set ears to advantage. Lovely coat. Should have a great future too.

3rd Navy Blue Of Most Majestic At Dacfolke.

PD. 1st Grandgenes Hey Good Looking. Attractive shaded sable in good coat and condition. Balanced, wedge head. Dark, expressive eye. High set, tipped ears. Medium neck. Mature in body. Moderately angled front and back. Croup to develop further and could carry his tail lower on the move. Steady mover showing reach and drive. BPD.

2nd N. Blue Of Most Majestic At D. Raw merle pup that needs time to develop all through. Good wedge shape head but skull could be flatter, Ok in neck, Pleasing angles front and rear. Moved soundly. Good puppy coat, well presented.

JD. 1st Oakcroft The Mandalorian. Excellent young male. Loved his balanced outline. Pleasing head. Dark eye of good size, shape and set. Excellent ears, used to advantage, Good reach of neck leading to a well laid shoulder and return of upperarm. Excellent topline with good sweep over loins. Good rear. Super coat for texture, density and presentation. Moved out well. Must have a great future.

2nd Stanydale Ocean Wave. Blue merle of good colour and markings. Liked his size, not overdone in any department. Pleasing head shape but could possibly have a touch more length overall. Excellent ear set. Moderate angles. Moved with reach and drive and a low tail carriage. Excellent coat. Liked him very much and pushed the winner all the way.

3rd Ferngroves Skywalker.

YD. Just 2 present here but both worthy representatives. 1st Valdosta Gracelands. Super young male. Excellent size and balance of outline. Clean, wedge head showing correct underjaw giving the desired smooth, rounded muzzle. Excellent eye shape, dark and expressive. Excellent angles and holds himself confidently on the move. Sound in all directions and in good coat.

2nd Willowgarth Unlimited Love. Another youngster showing promise. Not as settled today but excellent head shape, enough stop and flat skull. Dark, almond eye giving desired expression and outlook. Good conformation and moved out very well with a low tail carriage.

ND. 1st F. Skywalker. Stood 3rd in a good Junior class. Quality youngster. Nice enough in head but would prefer a touch more fill under eye. Uses his ears well. Medium neck. Enough chest and well bodied. Can firm up a touch in topline. Good angles. Excellent mover. Lovely coat and condition.

2nd Myter Black Tarquin At Stormhead. 9 month old tri. Lovely shape and uses his neck well. Good head shape. Excellent eye and ears. Younger, so consequently not the maturity of 1st. Super coat for colour, texture and presentation. Moves very well, just needs time to tighten all round.

3rd D. The Cruzader.

GD. 1st Mosardi Don’t Stop. Immaculately presented blue merle of excellent colour, markings and a full white collar. Good head shape, masculine but not coarse in anyway. Would like a fraction more underjaw. Pleasing eye. Medium neck. Could have more depth of chest for his age. Excellent outline with quality bone. Excellent sweep over loins. Correct croup leading to a low tail set. Super mover in all directions, really covers the ground with little effort.

2nd Borderpride Viva Las Vegas At Lodurr. Very good young tri. Wedge head with slight stop. Medium eye colour of good shape. Ears could be set a bit higher. Strong neck. Excellent outline. Good angles front and back. Excellent coat. Moved soundly.

3rd Bordamour All Fired Up.

PGD. 1st Shadoway Chance Encounter. Liked the size and outline of this sable. Very good head shape. Super eye and soft expression. Excellent ear set and carriage, Medium neck leading to a moderately angled front. Firm body. Strong bone and tight, oval feet. Well angled rear. Moved true in all directions.

2nd Wavesong Chasing Rainbows. Quality shaded sable. Close-up to the winner for size outline and conformation. Excellent head, clean wedge, well placed, moderate stop. Dark, almond eye. Strong neck. Well developed in chest. Slightly more compact in outline than 1st but he is good coat of correct density and texture and moved well in all directions.

3rd Carolelen Composer At Faemdra.

LD. 1st Ferngroves Valentino. Loved this sable male. Masculine but has elegance of outline. Very good head shape, Slight, but defined stop. Flat skull. Good eye shape, size and colour. Well set ears. Reachy neck showing some arch. Well laid shoulder and corresponding upperarm. Quality bone. Correct topline, well ribbed and muscular loins. Excellent rear. Good angle and length of croup. Moved out with reach and drive. Lovely coat, excellent texture, density and colour. The more I looked at him the more he appealed. Has the quality all through to proudly carry his title. Good luck for the future. Res CC.

2nd Lundecock’s Hoopie-Doo At lochkaren. Immaculately presented sable. Very glamourous coat but underneath is a well made, functional sheepdog. Slightly heavier in skull, but he has a good head shape overall. Lovely eye. Good conformation with nicely balanced angles front and rear. Holds himself well at all times. Excellent mover with correct tail carriage.

3rd Blenmerrow Lyricist.

OD. 1st Ch. Edglonian Golden Graham. Well known mature sable and an excellent representative of the breed. Completely fills the eye with his graceful but functional outline. Up to size but nothing heavy or coarse. Super head piece. Correct eye shape giving the softest of expressions. Reachy, arched neck. Deep, functional chest. Strong bone. Excellent angulation front and rear. Good sweep over loins, nicely angled and length of croup leading to a low set tail. In full coat, immaculate presentation and really looked the part. Delighted to award him the CC & BOB and looked stunning in the Group where he made the cut.

2nd Lavika Moonlight Storm. Masculine tri of ideal size and proportions. Lovely head shape, clean wedge with correct stop. Almond eye shape but could be a shade darker which would soften his expression. Excellent ears that he uses to advantage. Enough neck. Functional chest. Excellent front and raer. Moved out beautifully covering the ground well. Excellent tail carriage. Good coat for colour and density.

3rd Ch. Lindfern Light Sabre.

SB. 1st B. Lyricist. Much to admire on this masculine shaded sable male. His overall proportions are very good and he is mature in body and coat. Pleasing in head, ears and eye colour, just a bit round in shape. Moved well in all directions with low carried tail.

2nd Evad Light Breeze. Pleasing size and shape. Good enough in head if a shade deep in stop. Excellent ear set and carriage. Good to go over on the table with his sound conformation and lovely coat and condition. Moved very well in all directions but could carry his tail lower to balance the picture. Attentive to his handler.

3rd Oakcroft Venturer.

VB. Only 2 in this class but both worthy, mature females showing their all for their handlers.1st Ch. Lavika Black Beauty. Ultra-feminine 8 year old tri. Beautiful, graceful outline with correct height to length proportions. Clean wedge head of good length. Pleasing eye. Excellent ear set and carriage. Good reach and arch of neck. Despite her feminine size she has strong bone and excellent body. Super angles which allow her to really cover the ground, in fact, from profile she was one of the best movers on the day. Excellent coat for colour, texture and presentation. Her handler gets the very best out of her. Pleased to award her the Res CC & BVIB. Thrilled to see her take VG2 later in the day.

2nd Tighness The Tide Is High. 10 year old in fabulous form for her mature age. Liked her for size and femininity. More compact in outline than 1st and would like a touch more fill under eye. Excellent ear size and set. Medium neck. Good conformation and moves out feely, still completely sound and totally belying her age.

MPB. Good class of promising babies. 1st Molson Modern Millie. Gorgeous 8 month old glamourous sable. Well proportioned outline. Wedge head, with slight stop and flat skull. Medium sized, well placed, dark eye. Very feminine in outlook. Good shoulder and enough upperarm. Excellent topline for her age. Moderate rear. Once settled, moved with reach and drive and low tail carriage. BPIB, I am sure we will hear more of her in the future. A very promising prospect.

2nd Dippersmore Dazzling Star. Beautifully trained and handled shaded sable that throws off a very nice outline, albeit a bit more compact than 1st . Excellent head piece. Super eye shape. Excellent body for her age. Good lay of shoulder and strong rear for her age. Excellent mover. Just needs her tail carriage to settle further, but it was good to see her enjoying her time in the ring, just as a baby should. Another with an assured future.

3rd Melwhays Promise To Delight.

PB. 1st Lavika The Perfect Storm. Very mature 11 month old tri. Her outline fills the eye, in super coat and immaculate presentation. Head of good length and shape but could have a touch more stop and refinement to skull. Excellent tipped ears that she uses to advantage. Balanced angles. Excellent body. Excellent sweep over loins with a low set and carried tail. Moved freely, covering the ground with a moderate stride.

2nd Mohnesee Lullaby Ice. Another glamourous pup. Blue merle of 9 months and like 1st very forward for her age. Feminine, shapely head. Excellent ear set and carriage. Good reach of neck. Functional depth of chest. Good rear. Moved ok but needs to settle coming towards. Very good colour, well broken and in good double coat.

3rd Savendie Fortune Folly

JB. 1st Dippersmore In Dreams. Feminine tri of pleasing shape. Very good head and ear set. Dark eye but would prefer a better shape. Well made all through and in good coat. Holds herself well both on the stack and moving, where she displays a smooth, easy stride.

2nd Skeldale Wish Upon A Star Over Lindfern. Close-up here. Similar to 1st for size and outline. Head is of good shape and length and has some underjaw to complement her muzzle. Good conformation, just needs time to body and coat-up, maturity should sort this. Promising young female for the future.

3rd Sabema Mayfly At Ferngrove.

YB. Lovely class with 4 excellent females present. 1st Valdosta Goddess. Really fell for the charms of this excellent female. Copybook head. Super eye for shape, size and colour. Excellent tipped ears. Medium neck leading to a well laid shoulder. Excellent bone and tight feet. Excellent topline. Muscular loins. Excellent rear angles and good croup. Moved out very well in all directions and in pleasing coat. Pushed hard in the challenge. Should easily gain her crown. Good luck with her in the future.

2nd Evad Halloween Spice. Another sable with a super head, eye and expression. Not quite the reach of neck of 1st but close-up for overall conformation. In excellent full double coat that was well presented. Moved with a moderate stride, low tail and covers the ground efficiently.

3rd S. Wish Upon A Star Over L.

NB. 1st S. Mayfly At F. Stood 3rd in Junior class but has potential. Liked her head and overall outlook very much. Small, high set tipped ears. Medium neck. Nicely bodied for her age. Moves well from profile, just needs to settle further out and back.

2nd Dukeson It’s Amazing. Another beautifully headed female. Correct eye and ears. Excellent reach and arch of neck. Well developed chest for her age. Can firm -up a fraction in topline and a shade long in loin for ideal balance. Moved out well.

3rd Grandgenes Look At Me At Tooralie.

GB. 1st Mohnesse Maebelle. Excellent young female. Mature and looks good on the stack. Well proportioned in both head and body. Darkest of eyes giving a sweet expression. Uses her ears to best advantage. Excellent depth of chest. Balanced angles front and rear. Gentle sweep over loins. Low tail set and carriage. In excellent coat. Moved well in all directions.

2nd Wansvale Limelight. Very good sable of pleasing size. Good wedge shape head but would like a bit more underjaw. Excellent eye shape and colour. Strong neck. At 3 years she is approaching full maturity and pleases for her overall shape. Now needs to coat-up to complete the picture. Easy, sound mover.

3rd Sanbrakel Sunshine Breeze.

PG. 1st Mosardi Forget Me Not. Beautiful blue merle. Appeals instantly for her excellent colour and well broken markings. Very good head and expression. Keen showgirl who uses her ears at all times. Lovely to go over on the table, well balanced all through and excellent conformation. Sound mover with enough reach and drive. Double coat, immaculately presented.

2nd W. Limelight.

LB. Lavika Lateca, Beautiful sable. Caught my eye as she entered the ring with her excellent outline, feminine size but not compromising quality of bone or overall substance to do a days work. Long, wedge head. Correctly positioned slight stop. Excellent underjaw with smooth, rounded muzzle. Good ear set. Enough neck. Well laid shoulder, but a little short in upperarm. Excellent body. Muscular loins. Good angle to croup. Excellent rear quarters. In super coat and condition. Moved very well just preferred the slightly more forward reach of those above her in the challenge but on this form her title cannot be far away.

2nd Dandlewood Kiss ‘N’ Tell At Lianbray. Pushing the winner all the way. Love her type, just shouts ‘Sheltie female’ from her beautiful head and expression to her well-set tail. Good body and functional coat. Moves with an easy stride and completely sound in all directions. Attentive to handler, liked her a lot and certainly no disgrace to stand second here.

3rd Lavika Soul Of Gold For Lindfern.

OB. 1st Ch. Lizmark Lullaby Moon Over Mohnesee. Glamourous blue of very good colour. Recently judged and placed her in a Group and my opinion hasn’t changed. At full maturity and in full bloom, looks a picture on the stack. Pleasing in head for shape and balance between skull and muzzle. Good eye. Excellent ears. Strong neck. Balanced angles which allow her to cover the ground with an efficient stride. Excellent croup leading to a low tail set and carriage. Pleased to award her the CC in a quality entry of females.

2nd Edglonian Slack Alice. Rangier-built in comparison to 1st. Very good head piece and uses her ears well to enhance her expression. Excellent reach and arch of neck. Correct topline with a gentle sweep over loins. Very good angles. Well presented coat. Moved with reach and drive.

3rd Esterbon Bi Storm.
