A big thank you to all those who entered under me – I appreciate how difficult mid-week shows are for many people to attend, and two amazing stewards Paula and John. I would like to thank the Committee for my invitation to judge. It was very clear how hard the committee had worked to make this show work so well for all who attended.

VD (1,1) 1st: LUSTY A Blamorder Bring Him Home

Tri dog 8yrs old, he has a clean head which handles well, correct ear placement, ears used to advantage. Showed well. His overall outline is good stacked - with correct length of back/height however on the move his tail detracts from the preferred outline. Like many today – he found the carpet rather slippery.

Sable and White 8mth old puppy. Beautifully marked and well presented. He has a very sweet expression with dark correctly shaped eyes. Head handles well, his foreface is well moulded, strong underjaw. Well set ears used to advantage. Good reach of neck, length of back to height correct, slight rise of croup leading to a correctly set long tail. He has good bone and tight feet. Moved out well. Pleased to award him RDCC BPIB and delighted that he was awarded Group 1 in Pastoral Puppy Group

1st: METCALF, Mr & METCALF, Mrs S Koczkodan Well I Never

Tri dog 14mths. Unfortunately, he was somewhat unsettled and it difficult to access. He has dark eyes, correct bite, he flairs slightly in his back skull. His body shape is good – would prefer less white on his side, he is at a raw state and needs time to develop and his chest to drop.

PGD (1,1)

1st: 936 HOWE, Mrs Di Lizoni The Drifter

Tri dog 20mths. Well presented. Balanced head, with good ear set, well used. Would prefer a better shaped eye. Overall outline/balance is good. Correct bend of stifle. Well set tail. Good bone. Moved ok. Feel he would benefit from a slightly faster pace.
