1st Thompson’s Afterglow Show Us Yer Nuts Trandella - Handsome brown male puppy with balanced outline and of correct size. Proportionate head with strong foreface of good length, definite chin, some chiselling. Almond shaped eye with colour harmonising with coat, ear leathers long and framing face well. Nice reach of neck carrying his head proudly and fitting smoothly into well laid shoulders. Forelegs straight and of quality bone. Neat feet. Compact body, chest developing well, ribs well sprung and carried well back, short backed and loins broad. Well angulated hindquarters with well bent stifles and low set parallel hocks. High set tail. Profuse puppy coat presented well. Moved soundly and freely with good reach and drive. RBD & BPIB

2nd Todd’s Todlaw Forget Me Not - Pleasing black bitch puppy who is of good size and proportions. Long, fine skull, moderate stop, well defined chin with tight fitting black lips. Dark eye of good set, shape and size. Nice amount of neck fitting into a sound front assembly, straight forelegs. Well bodied for age, ribs well sprung and carried well back, short loin. Hindquarters strong and sound. Moved well, 1st just had the edge on front reach. RBB

1st Givan’s Afterglow Seems Like Heaven with Sudeo - Pretty black bitch with lovely headpiece, balanced outline and well sized. Head of good proportions, medium stop, good length to foreface, chiselling evident, prominent chin. Dark, expressive almond shaped eye well set and of good size. Enough neck, forelegs straight and of good bone, small, tidy feet. Well bodied with well sprung ribs, correct topline, loins broad and well muscled. Well angulated hindquarters. Moved soundly with good reach and drive, just lost her sparkle a little in the challenge.

Post Graduate (1)

1st Tollin’s Dorian Gray’s Ace Up My Sleeve - Silver bitch, well balanced and under the measure. Pleasing head qualities, proportionate with moderate stop, good chiselling, lean, flat cheeks and well defined chin. Lovely pigment, dark nose and eye rims. Almond shaped eyes dark and well set. Reachy neck of good length fitting into well laid shoulders and carrying her head proudly. Well muscled throughout, compact body, well sprung ribs, muscular, broad loin. Hindquarters well angulated with good bend to stifles and low set parallel hocks giving her good drive on the move. Tail well set. Moved soundly and freely with stylish reach and drive. BB

1st Harkness’ Zya Nandj Miniature Schnauzer Kennel Armagedon at Senkrah - Silver male of correct size. Masculine head, well pigmented nose and eye rims, a little “cheeky”, well defined chin. Eyes dark, of good size and set, perhaps slightly rounder than my ideal. Enough neck into strong shoulders, forelegs straight and of good bone. Compact body, well ribbed back and good spring, short loin. Hindquarters matching that of fore angles. High set tail. Coat harsh and of good texture. Moved ok.

Veteran (1)

1st Grant & Murphy’s Afterglow Americano at Silvora ShCEx - I was so pleased to see this exhibit again, this time as a veteran. I first judged him as a very young dog and glad to see that he has continued to mature into a fine specimen. He is such a showman, at one with his handler and his joie de vivre is infectious! Beautiful head, all male without a trace of coarseness. Long, fine skull, moderate stop and strong foreface of good length, correct chiselling. Darkest of eyes, almond in shape, well set and of good size giving such a typical expression. Reachy neck fitting into a sound front assembly. Solid, well muscled body with well sprung ribs and short, broad, muscular loin. Thighs muscular and well developed, good turn to stifles and low set parallel hocks. High set tai. Crisp, harsh coat presented in excellent condition. Moves so soundly with good reach and drive. Couldn’t be denied BD, BOB & BVIB today.
