Many thanks to the committee and exhibitors for such a warm welcome and for both stewards for doing a fabulous job. I was very pleased with my entry: 70 dogs with 79 total entries.

On a positive note, colours have improved with very white markings, etc. However, heads have continued to decline and become more spitz like. Standard for the German Spitz Klein is 50% skull and 50% muzzle. For a Pomeranian, I am looking for two thirds skull and one third muzzle making a nice wedge. If judges and exhibitors do not stop this horrible trend, the breed will be ruined.

Additionally, both front and back movement needs to be corrected and far too many with Papillion like feet with a few Pomeranians having a tendency to crab. On the day, dogs were much stronger than bitches.

1ST Smith, Ms - SUEACRES CENTRE STAGE

Smart Orange Sable, 7-month-old puppy. Neat ears with coat coming in well. Moved and showed well and did not put a foot wrong. BPIS.

2ND Neve, Mrs - STYALWAYS IM STILL STANDING

A very pretty orange, very close to one and can see them swapping places in the future.

3RD Cawthera-Purdy, Mrs A - LIREVA’S WILD AND WONDERFUL

Orange sable, quite plain in head. Very sound and had a good coat.

Class 4 – Junior Dog (8 entries, 0 absentees)

1ST Mina, Mr - MINASPOMS SANDOKAS

Huge, coated orange with the prettiest of heads. Although he showed well to win the strong class, he threw it away in the challenge as he started to wondering around on the mat as he moved.

2ND Cawthera-Purdy, Mrs A - LIREVA’S WILD TO FLY THE BEAR

Orange, nice sized boy. Good coat however was crabbing on the move.

Fabulous deep orange. Hugely coated. Looks bigger than he is due to his fabulous coat. Very pretty head and very sound. RDCC, RBIS.

2ND Neve, Mrs - STYALWAYS HERE I AM

Nice head, moved and showed well. Small neat ears and good mouth.

Well coated black boy. Good mouth. Moved and showed well.

Nice sized boy with a very pretty head. Moved well but did not have the coat compared to first.

Orange sable, good mouth with neat ears. Moved soundly but needed more animation.

Clear orange with a nice head. Full of coat with neat feet.

Small black dog, looked fabulous in shape. Moved and showed to perfection. DCC, BIS.

2ND Killick, Mrs - LOVE OF MY LIFE AT TRAVILLON

Very sweet headed orange dog. Correct for size and shape. Just tended to crab slightly.

Very raw but promising puppy. Coat coming in well and showed well for one so young.

Wolf-sable with a good coat. Very pretty head and dual purpose.

Just my type. Pretty head with neat ears. Good coat. BPB.

Nice orange bitch. Moved and showed well but preferred the head of first.

Very close to first as the same things apply. Definitely could swap places in the future.

Very sound, pretty cream bitch. Fabulous pigment and good movement. Lost out on CC due to coat. RBCC.

Pretty small orange bitch that moved and showed well. Just needs more coat.
