Many thanks to the Secretary and her welcoming committee for the kind invitation to judge this lovely breed at your show. I was a little saddened to see untypical movement especially in the rear, this is a breed that should move freely with strength covering the ground with ease, I was very pleased with my principal winners and thank the exhibitors for your entry on such a cold day.
PGD 1(0)
1. Winger’s Rosskaja Here Comes Trouble for Syanaria. 23 months, good wedge shaped head, strong muzzle and almond eye, good pigment, nice ear set, he had good bone and substance without being coarse, good feet, adequate angulation with good proportions, tail well set with good carriage, moved out steadily.
LD 3(1)
1. O’Dwyer’s Aspenbeauty Making Dreams for Kalinski (AI) (imp AUS). 3 years old with pleasing breed type, beautifully presented, I liked his outline on the stack, he had balanced head proportions, good ear placement, lovely eye shape and set, strong neck and shoulders, strength in loin, presented in excellent coat, lovely profile movement but could be tidier going away in the rear and was ‘toeing in’ slightly on return.
2. Humphrey’s Tiksi Time After Time. 4½ years old with masculine head and expression, good ear set, preferred the angulation of 1 but he was balanced front and rear, strong loin with sound body proportions and steady top-line, well set tail with good carriage, showed some good movement when settled into his stride.

2. Moody/Haffenden’s Ch. Novaskaya Xander Lefay JW. Another 6 year old shown in first class condition, super head and masculine ‘smiling’ expression, well set ears, he had the correct proportions and he was balanced in his front and rear angulation, good depth of chest and I liked his shape and length of rib, strong loin, well set tail, dressed in a lovely harsh jacket with soft undercoat, moved beautifully in profile with an easy, free gait, RDCC.
3. Hopkins Navratilova’s Holy Archie Orleansnow (imp CZE).

1. O’Dwyer’s Kalinski Dushka Maia. 10½ year old bitch, feminine head and expression and a credit to her breed, presented a lovely outline standing and moving, her head was balanced with good ear set and lovely eye, she had good angles front and rear with a sound top-line, good bone and feet, nice depth of chest, she was sound and free on the move, still carrying a lovely coat, BV and pleased to see she was later awarded VG4.

Male of 11½ years, masculine in head and expression, well placed eye, he had good angles and sound top-line with good depth of chest, well shaped rib and good tail set and carriage, sound on the move although his coat could have been in better condition.

1. Bule’s Dreambig Evija. Bitch of nearly 8 months with feminine head and expression, well set ears and good eye, strong neck and shoulders, good bone would prefer a little better shape to feet, lovely outline standing and moving, nicely angulated with good body proportions, presented in excellent coat and condition, she just needs to come down a gear on the move to appreciate her more, BP.
2. Wilson/Davis’ Gwyneira Scarlet Witch. 12 months and full of herself with a lot to say! feminine head with strong muzzle and good pigment, well set eye and colour, she was nicely angulated throughout with sound top-line and correctly placed tail and carriage, just needs to focus to improve her overall picture.

JB 2(0) 1. McGroarty/Rushton’s Lola Bella. 12 months old, quite a nice outline on the stack, she had a feminine head with nice eye and good pigment, well set ears, feet could be better but she had adequate angulation and showed some decent profile movement, presented in good coat and condition, BJ.
2. McGroarty/Rushton’s Snofaro Ashotep. Another of 12 months but not the balanced head proportions of 1 and lacked in breed type for me, I preferred the body proportions of my class winner, she had adequate angulation and good depth to her chest, showed some steady movement in profile.
