Breed: Hungarian Pumi (Imp)
Many thanks to the Society for their kind invitation to judge at the ‘end of year show’, it always has a lovely, festive atmosphere. JD 1(0) 1. Kirkwood’s Bellpins Zigazigah at Yolstek. Nicely presented white male of 17 months, good length of head with gorgeous dark eye, ears could be a little more erect, correct stop, appealing head proportions, lovely square outline, level top-line, good angulation, correct bone and feet, moved out well, good tail set, in super coat and condition. PGD 2(1) 1. McRobbie’s Mykabel Errar. 3 years, appealing dark eye, another where ears could be more erect, bone could be a little finer and top-line could be firmer, fair angulation front and rear, moved out steadily and coat was of good condition. OD 3(1) 1. Pike/Carter’s Breezelyn Ear Sumut Special. 5 years old, dark grey, a proper little show-off, good head proportions and lovely dark eye, good angulation front and rear, he was a lovely shape on the stand and moving, good tail set, super smart on the move with his lively stride, presented in excellent condition, RBD. 2. Kirkwood’s Schnaubern Draco Star at Yolstek. Another lovely example of this charming breed at 3 years, although slightly preferred the proportions of 1, darkest of eye with good pigment, good legs and feet, sound movement in all directions, another presented well. VD/B 1(0) 1. Smee/Coleman’s Int Ch/Ir Ch. Balthazar Pumida avec Schnaubern (imp CZE). A dog I have judged before, he is now 9 years and still so fit and well, typical and correct head of good proportions, dark eye with excellent pigment, correct bone and good feet, a lovely outline on the move, correct tail set and carriage, steady but lively movement, he was presented in tip top condition, BD & BV. PB 1(0) 1. Wilkinson’s Galla-hegyi Anizs (imp HUN). Black bitch of 9 months with the darkest of eye and lovely expression, this was her 1st show and she was a little ‘aware’ but she soon settled and showed some lovely typical movement, level top-line, she was well muscled with a lovely juvenile coat, she was much more relaxed when she came into the challenge and I was pleased to give her BP. LB 5(2) 1. Johns’ Breezelyn Ears A Breakthrou for Alepenkye. Nicely presented bitch of 3 years, good ears, liked her length of head, she had the darkest of eye with good pigment, fine bone and correct outline, straight legs and good feet, firm top-line and good tail set, she moved out well, RBB. 2. Roberts’ Heathbank Dorcia. 2 year old bitch, larger than 1, high set ears, dark eye and lovely expression, correct shoulder placement and well muscled rear, firm top-line but tail set could be slightly better, moved out well with a lively free gait, she was presented in excellent condition. 3. McRobbie’s Schnaubern Delphinus Star. OB 3(0) 1. Smee’s Ir Ch. Mykabel Electra Star from Schnaubern. Lovely feminine bitch of 3 years, correct length of head and good proportions, loved her tipped Pumi ears, darkest of eye, she had a super square outline when standing and on the move, correct angulation front and rear with good depth, lovely tail set and carriage, she moved out well with a correct gait and was in beautiful condition, BB & BOB. 2. Johns’ Breezelyn Ears A Top Tip at Alepenkye. 4 year old grey bitch and another nice example of this breed, feminine head of good length and dark eye, lovely Pumi expression, she was firm in top-line, tail set not quite that of class winner, presented in super condition, would like to see her come down a gear on the move. 3. Evans’ Zaydah I Kissed The Teacher. CATH MOFFAT
