KEESHOND

Judge: Mrs Caron Bell

The ring had plenty of holes and obstacles to be avoided as well as the thunder it made it difficult to judge movement at times. Some difficult decisions for my top awards which was lovely to have.

An upstanding boy with clear colour of silver and black. High set tail over back carried well at all times. Darkest of eyes, correct stop and head proportions producing the most handsome of heads. All male, cat feet, one to watch. A monkey on the move today for his handler. BP

Class 2294 JD (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: 4119 TRUELOVE, Miss Cerys & COMPERAT, Mr John-Marc Bargeway Boomerang

Lovely boy, excellent shoulder and rear angulation, the clearest of colours. Handsome head, dark eye, neat ears with defined eye markings. Correct length of neck. High set tail carried well. Feet could be tighter.

2nd: 4107 JOHNSTON, Mrs Shelley Jane & ATKINSON, Mrs Antonia Winklestar Namid

A difficult decision between these two, smaller boy but definitely male, eye a touch round. Moved well, good angulation front and rear, high set tail, excellent cat feet.

1st: 4094 AXFORD, Mrs Lisa & SHERWOOD, Mr Steven Watermyth Jewel Of The Nest

Outstanding colour and contrast, front action not the best today. Handled very well. Dark eye and good pigment, would prefer smaller ears. High set tail, just a little long in loin showing in outline.

Boy of excellent proportions. His outline is a picture, well placed shoulders , high set tail. Tight cat feet, good bone. Darkest of eyes of correct shape with neat ears. Gave his handler a hard time. (RDCC)

2nd: 4101 DOWNS, Mrs Ann Liefkees Assisi Jw

Handsome boy, dark eye and neat ears. Slightly longer in profile than the desired, high set tail carried well at all times. Moved well

Class 2298 OD (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 4115 RING, Mrs Jane Neradmik Shine On Harvey Moon

Simply lovely boy that oozed quality, from the moment I put my hands on him, correct weight, powerful hind quarters. Well off for bone and tight cat feet. Lovely colour and contrast. High set tail carried high at all times. All male head with dark eye, neat ears – loved him DCC BOB

2nd: 4111 MATTHEWS, Messrs M & D & Mrs L & LEE, Mrs T Ch Winklestar Deneb At Valindale

To me this boy needs to lose some weight, affecting his movement. Handsome head with neat ears, dark enough eye. Colour was OK. High set tail carried well at all times. In profile would like to see more neck.

Darker girl and not in her full coat today. Feminine head with dark eye, ears could be smaller. Lovely length of neck to nicely angulated shoulder. Slightly longer in loin.

Really liked this girl. Very well balanced front and back angulation. Lovely high set tail. Short and compact with good length of leg presented a nice outline. Cat feet. Well handled RBCC

2nd: 4106 JOHNSTON, Mrs Shelley Jane / Tykees Full Of Chaos

Another lovely girl, dark eye and neat ears. Colour not as clear as 1st. Tail well set, just another slightly longer cast.

Class 2307 OB (4 Entries) Abs: 2

1st: 4113 REDLER, Mr Mark & WHEATLEY, Mr David Ch Keitakees You Are My World

Smaller girl but has so much to offer, stunning colour. Well balanced and a picture on the stand. Prettiest of heads, dark eye, neat ears. Would ideally like her a little bigger but cant knock her quality and construction BCC

2nd: 4114 RING, Mrs Jane Ch Neradmik Tantrums N Tiaras

The larger of the two in this class and another quality girl pushed hard for the RCC, just lost on overall outline. Head has lovely proportions with dark eye and neat ears. Well off for bone. Tight feet. Clear colour and in good coat and condition.
