My thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge this prestigious show, I would also like to thank by excellent Stewards Rhoneen and Jane for keeping things moving and most of all the exhibitors who stayed after the main show to exhibit under me

Puppy Dog (4,1 abs )

1 Turnbull’s Glenquin the Colonel at Elagram

Nearly 12 months old, well up to size but well balanced. Good lay of shoulder and length of back, moved out soundly. Well-handled to take BPIS

2 Lovatt’s Beechillawn Break the Mould

Not as mature as 1 but still a nice puppy Correct head planes and straight front, tight feet , didn’t seem very happy today but may have been upset by the loudspeaker that kept going off at the side of the ring

1 Geary’s Wesley Vom Alterwald at Germanus (imp Hun) Naf Taf

Very promising black and white with a lovely dark eye Good furnishings and correct slightly sloping topline straight front and tight feet. . Moved out happily.

2 Robson’s Glenquin Major at Yohenoak. Although only third in Puppy he was not as mature as the other two but deserved this place here. Good masculine head and dark eye, strong neck and lovely front. Nicely boned with correct jacket and has a pleasing width of second thigh. Moved well.

1 O’Brien’s Caldewriver Cold As Ice.

My star of the day. A quality dog who has a typical head and lovely dark eye and expression. Good reach of neck onto well laid shoulders. Excellent straight front , correct bone, lovely depth and substance with a firm topline and correct tail set. Harsh wiry Jacket, very sound on the move with a driving action. Sure, it won’t be long before he gets made up DCC and BIS

 1 Brown’s Matravers Cherokee.

 This dog is well balanced throughout. Pleasing head with a lovely expression. Strong neck and shoulders. Lovely depth and substance with well-muscled quarters and has an excellent jacket. Sound steady mover.

 2 Jones’s Germanus Makin A Point (ai)

Another good dog from this kennel, Liked his size and overall shape although he looked as if he was straight in stifle when set up but when he stood naturally the angulation was there. He needs to be less proud of his tail Moved out with one with his handler

Limit dog D (1,0 abs)

 1 Quinn & Skeemer’s Germanus Hotwyr Yindi. Balanced with a masculine head and kind expression, good furnishings. Well laid shoulders, straight front with super depth and substance. Well sprung rib, harsh coat and he has lovely, angulated hindquarters. Such a sound and steady mover. Sure, he will be made up when he matures fully.

  1 Donnelly’s Ir Sh Ch Beechillawn Rasperry Sorbet Cjw22, Cw22/23, Cen JW Cenw Jch.. This dog is well constructed throughout. Well balanced and of good size. Masculine head, lovely eye shape and with a kind expression. Good lay of shoulders, lovely front assembly with plenty of heartroom. Correct bone, best of legs and feet, super depth and substance with a correct topline and in superb coat. Strong muscular quarters which he uses on the move to advantage. RDCC AND RBIS

.2 Jones’s Sh Ch Mustwork Uland. Worthy Champion, Built on flowing lines and is of a medium size, well balanced and of correct height to length ratio. Correct head shape with dark oval shaped eyes. Excellent body with a clean front. Good layback of shoulder and a strong muscular neck. Correct topline and has well rounded quarters. Moves with lovely reach and drive. He has passed his virtues onto his children.

 A dog I did well for at Crufts, now with a different owner he is still showing himself off well. He has a lovely expression and looks very settled moving out as one .

.1 O’Brien’s Caldewriver Storm N’ Teacup for Katillien. Litter sister to my BIS, lovely type of bitch who is w0ell balanced throughout. She has the best of heads, feminine with a soft expression. Clean over her neck and shoulders with a good straight front. Lovely depth and substance with a firm topline and well-muscled quarters with excellent width of second thigh. She moved out with excellent reach and drive and good foot placing. RBCC

1 Quinn & Skeemer’s Germanus Miles Between Us

Litter sister to my BCC winner and very similar in construction. Not the biggest of girls but so well put together. Good tailset . Very pretty head and was showed like a trooper with her novice handler. Will trouble the best when the team grow together.

2 Harries’s Gleomac Daffodils in Bloom

2 yr old bitch in full bloom. Larger frame than 1 but well in proportion. Correct head planes with a kind eye. Good shoulders and 0length of back. Well handled , Sure she will change places with 1 often whilst in the same class.

. A well-constructed bitch with a lovely feminine head. Good reach of neck, straight front and correct bone. Firm topline with a harsh jacket. Slightly sloping topline straight front and good depth of chest, Well sprung ribs Good tailset. and well angulated quarters Litter sister to my PGB winner, moved soundly on a good stride really covering the ground BCC

2 Turnbull’s Kimmax Two can Play at Elagram (AI).

Mature bitch who is typical of her breeding. Good topline and well angled fore and aft, Movement was not quite as positive as 1

1 McCullough’s Sh Ch Kimmax Kindly Stand Black. A lovely well balanced bitch Super coat and has a strong topline. Well-muscled hindquarters and moved out well. To win this good class.

 Nice black and white girl who settled into herself as the day went on, Harsh jacket and good angulation Owner didn’t quite get the best out of her today but will do better when she gets herself together.

 Daughter of the SpB bitch and has a lot of her attributes. Good length of body and moved well. Would prefer a better tail set.

Soundest of bitches with lovely conformation throughout. Strong in head with a pleasing eye and expression. Long neck leading into well placed shoulders with a straight front. Excellent depth of chest and well off for bone. strong topline and well rounded hindquarters. Moved out on a positive stride
