A really promising young dog 2nd Keay’s Castlegolden Classy Lady Smaller than the first dog but also full of quality. Liked his head and expression, deep short coupled body and good turn of stifle. I would prefer a slightly better tail set. Handler didn’t always get the best from him but that will come with time 3rd Rounce and Tye’s Berrymead Winter Love Very lively youngster who gave his handler a very hard time. Has a pleasing head and expression and once stood still for a short time you could see his level top line and tail set. He has really good pigment and was well presented. Yearling (16 1a ) This was a really difficult class to judge. Standing there were a lot of quality dogs with super outlines. High tail carriage was evident and there were quite a few with minor mouth faults all of which affected the placings 1st O‘Gorman’s Berrymeads Billy Summers (AI) JW Dark dog who has good top-line, good turn of stifle and very good bone and feet. Would prefer a softer expression. Has a beautiful coat which was well presented Moved well and with drive 2nd Liggin’s and Hodges Swanavly Popsy’s Legacy at Nunsbrook (imp SER) Loved the head on this dog and he is better to go over than he looks from the ringside. He has quality and was well presented but carrying too much weight today 3rd Webster’s Kulawand Skies of Blue over Benjcroft This is a lovely young dog full of quality and has a super outline. Today he was carrying his tail too high through excitement as the tail set is correct. Cost him the class today as it affected his overall balance on the move. He has so much quality and was well presented in beautiful coat 3rd Maynard’s Ch Chinnordale Cue Card This dog is a favourite of mine as I just love his head and gentle expression. He is a typical golden and whilst I would like him a little shorter for perfect balance he is the dog I could have taken home today.
