Bitches
Golden Retriever Club of Scotland 13th April 2024
A lovely entry, Quite a few carrying a bit too much weight today and some deep bodies with rather short legs, particularly in the lower classes. One or two very strong heads with too much stop. In the higher classes I was spoiled for choice
Baby Puppy (1)
1st MCGregors Glenhaven Purple Meadow at Glennruaidh
Well grown puppy who was shown in very good coat. She has plenty of bone, a straight front and a level top line. As you would expect at her age needs a little more ring training. Best baby puppy in show
Veteran (11 3A ) Some lovely girls standing failed on the move in this class 1st Maynards Tarmnian Ella Belle to Chinnordale
A very sound girl shown in excellent coat although I feel she would look more balanced if some of her tummy coat was removed (it was inches long) She has a lovely head with a soft expression good length of neck and layback of shoulder, correct hind angulation not overdone in any way. Her sound driving movement was a joy to watch. She was still moving well at the end of the day where with my co judges agreement she was awarded Best Veteran in Show
