BOSTON & DISTRICT CANINE SOCIETY CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 07/07/2024 SIBERIAN HUSKY JUDGE: ANGIE ALLEN (HARPAN)
I would like to thank the society for inviting me to award my first set of CC’s, I felt humbled and honoured to have such an outstanding entry. I was truly spoilt for choice, with so many quality dogs to choose from quite a few went unplaced. I would’ve like to see a little more weight on some exhibits and a few less straight pasterns. Thank you to all the exhibitors for their support and my ring stewards who kept the ring flowing.
MINOR PUPPY DOG (2:1)
1. Ms G Cameron’s SUTARKA’S FOOL ME ONCE, 7mth grey/white with substantial bone and coat, masculine head, moved well with his handler.
PUPPY DOG (4:1)
1. J Foard’s ARCTICTREKS DRACO AT BIFROST 11mths old, handsome youngster with good angulations front and rear, mischievous expression, correct sloping pasterns, carrying just enough weight, moved well on the out and back once he settled covering the ground with his long stride. BPD & BPIB
2. Mr & Mrs M R N Emery’s NAVAJOS MOONAGE DAYDREAM 11mth grey/white, another puppy I really liked, finer boned than 1, a pleasing outline standing and on the move, covered good ground, well handled.

JUNIOR DOG (2;1)
1. Mr H & Mrs J Wakker’s KOMAKSIUT’S GLEN DEVON AV RATATUYAK AT CEANNABEINNE (Imp Nld) very promising 15mth old of good breed type, handsome head with correct eye and earset, good angulations front and rear with good tail set. Moved out well single tracking, one to watch in the future.
YEARLING DOG (1:0)
1. Mrs S Johnson’s ATLANTICBREEZE BAILEY BY LUPINMOON JW (ai) (IKC) 22mth old grey boy, he had a mischievous expression and was clearly enjoying his time in the ring, handled really well.
POST GRADUATE DOG (6:1)
1. Ms S Ms S & Ms A Leich, Leich & Koops FORSTAL’S PINGO 2yr old grey/white of excellent breed type, beautiful head with oblique set almond shaped eye. Tight lipped with good pigmentation. Strong neck leading to well laid shoulders, correct angulations front and rear with a good length of loin with slight tuck-up. Moved with an effortless ground covering gait and handled to bring out the best in him, he excelled in the challenge fighting off strong competition to take the RDCC he has a very promising future.
2. Miss J Cooper’s FORSTAL’S FRANKIE FOR JANSKCOO smaller than 1 but with many of the same attributes, covered good ground on the move.

LIMIT DOG (8:1)
1. Miss J Cooper’s TRAILHUNTERS POLAR BREEZE FOR JANSKCOO 3yo white boy who owned the ring as soon as he entered it, such a pleasing profile standing and moving. Correct fox-like head with a keen expression, good length of neck leading to well laid shoulders, strong deep chest set on straight forelegs leading to slightly sloping pasterns, good spring of rib with a slight arch over his loin. Correct turn of stifle. His movement is strong and effortless and he was shown in excellent working condition. I was especially pleased to learn this was his crowning CC (subject to RKC confirmation) DCC & BOS
2. Mrs H Snelson’s AZGARD MONTICRISTO AT ASHTRAX B/W piebald, another top quality dog of good breed type, slightly longer in loin than winner, another shown in good working condition, moved with an effortless ground covering stride, handled really well to get the best out of him.

1. Mrs H Snelson’s SALAZKA’S MR ABERNATHY AT ASHTRAX solid black with white chest & feet, a dog I have long admired, he has a finely chiselled fox like head with almond shaped eyes, strong front and correctly sloping pasterns, good length of back with slight arch over the loin, good angulations front and rear, he is well muscled and shown in excellent condition, his movement is effortless, he pushed hard for top honours.
2. Ms S, Ms S & Ms A Leich, Leich & Koops FORSTAL’S XANS SPRUCE another top quality standard fitting dog, I loved his head and kind expression. A very pleasing outline in profile and on the move another shown in hard working condition with effortless ground covering movement, well handled
3. Mr & Mrs Fletcher’s CH. AZGARD BOLIVAR AT WHITEPEAK
VETERAN DOG (6:0)
1. Mr R & Mrs S Sargent’s CH HUSHWING WEZZTLEE WITH KERIQUEL 7 yrs old, he has a foxy head with correct eye and ears, good reach of neck leading to well laid shoulders, good spring of rib and correct angulations front and rear, his movement was effortless and he covered the ground well, shown in good body condition and well muscled. Was pleased to award him BVD
2. Mr S & Mrs C Biddlecombe’s CH KORSVIG’S COOPER AT TSARITSA 11 yrs old and in excellent condition with a good body covering. Correct angulations front and rear, well muscled and moved with purpose, perfectly handled and at one with his handler.
3. Mr T & Mrs S Hart’s ARCTICTREKS RALPH REVELS AT ZAWKKAST
SPECIAL BEGINNER DOG (2:1)
1. Miss K Bolsover’s CHARMEDKELZ FOZZIE BEAR 3 yr Red/White boy who was very aloof today and would probably rather be in harness, good angulations front and rear, a little lean in body, moved well single tracking on the out and back.
MINOR PUPPY BITCH (4:1)
1. Mrs J & Miss P Allen-Davern & Hughes SIBERIADRIFT TRICK OR TREAT FOR ZIMAVOLK pretty foxy head with correct eye and ear shape, good length to height ratios and good angulations front and rear, moved well once settle.
2. Ms J Platt’s TRAILHUNTERS VIXEN TOR IN WIGHTFLIGHT very feminine foxy head, developing well, will watch her progress with interest, such a raw baby who was very unsettled on the move, really well handled.
3. Miss C Jackson’s ALOUSTAIR’S CIRCLE OF LIFE

1. Miss R & Mr T Freeman & Wakefield’s SIBERIADRIFT HOCUS POCUS 8mth old, she has a feminine foxy head with good eye and ear set. Good length of neck leading to a good front with correct sloping pasterns, good spring of rib and slight arch over the loin, good angulations front and rear, she is developing nicely, moved well.
2. Mrs B Stanier ARCTICTREKS ORCA 11mth old, another pretty girl developing well, moved well once settled, handled well.

1. Mr I & Mrs T Wakeling MYDISA HIELAN PEELIE WAALY AT KLEWAGIN 16mth old white girl with a lovely foxy head with almond shaped eyes, good depth of chest and well laid shoulders, slight slope of pastern. Good length of loin with slight arch over, correct tail set giving her a lovely sickle curl to her bushy tail. Shown in good body condition and well muscled, moved with purpose and well handled
2. Mr I & Mrs L Sinclair MYDISA HIELAN SASSIE LASS AT LESAMIAN sister to first place, grey/white who I’m sure she will change places regularly, same comments apply to this feminine girl, she was slightly unsettled on the move, she has a bright future.

1. Miss R Cunningham’s SIBERIADRIFT DARING MINX FROM ICEBEX 23mth old bi-eyed with a refined foxy head, a kind yet mischievous expression, good length of neck leading to correct front angulation, slightly sloping pasterns, she has a pleasing outline and in good coat and body condition.
2. Miss A Spruce MYSTICWOLF MO CUISHLE grey/white blue eyed, feminine foxy head, smaller boned than 1, good angulations front and rear, moved and handled well.

NOVICE BITCH (7:2)
1. Mrs K Hughes SIBERIADRIFT DARING SAGE grey/white bi-eyed girl with a pleasing overall outline, a standard fitting girl who has a bright future. Foxy well chiselled head with obliquely set almond shaped eyes and good ear placement which she uses to her advantage. Good length of neck and well laid shoulders, a strong straight front with slightly sloping pasterns, good spring of rib. Level topline with slight arch over loin and slight tuck-up. Good turn of stifle, moved and handled well.
2. Dr K & Mr J Brown’s TSARITSA AVENGER ELEVEN AT POCKETSIBES, white girl with many of the same attributes as 1, good length of body and correctly sloping pasterns, moved well with a single track, shown in good body condition.

GRADUATE BITCH (4:0)
1. Mr G & Mrs S Fletcher’s SIBERIADRIFT BLUE LAGOON AT WHITEPEAK 2yr old blue eyed girl with a pretty foxy head and mischievous expression, good chest and straight front with correct sloping pasterns, good body proportions with slight tuck-up and arch over loin, moved with effortless purpose and drive and was a real contender in the challenge.
2. Ms J Platt’s KERIQUEL HEART AND SOUL OF WIGHTFLIGHT grey/white brown eyed standard fitting girl giving a pleasing outline both standing and moving, she has a strong front end and good length of leg and good angulations front and rear, shown in good body condition her movement is effortless and flowing.

POST GRADUATE BITCH (6:2)
1. Miss J Caudy’s ARCTICTREKS GOLDILOCKS AT SNOWDRAGON another promising 2 yr old with a foxy head and piercing blue eyes, good length of neck and well placed shoulders, good length to height ratios and good angulations front and rear, moved with fluidity and drive, well handled.
2. Ms J Platt’s WIGHTFLIGHT INSH another blue eyed girl with a pretty foxy head, good angulations front and rear, shown in her bikini and a little unsettled on the move, handled really well.
3. Mr & Mrs M R N Emery’s SAKINO’S EPIC SASS TO NAVAJOS
LIMIT BITCH (12:1)
1. Mr S & Mrs C Biddlecombe’s TSARITSA OETTINGER loved this grey/white brown eyed standard fitting girl who is so unassuming, pretty foxy head with tight fitting lips and good pigmentation, good length of neck leading to well laid shoulders, correct feet and good leg length, level topline with slight arch over her loin and just enough tuck-up, good turn of stifle and tail set. Well muscled and moved well once she had settled. She pushed hard for top spot in the challenge and I was pleased to award her RBCC
2. Mrs S Hay’s INNESKA CINNABAR OF SURA grey/white bi-eyed girl, so much to like about this pretty girl, correct angulations front and rear, her movement was fluid and purposeful and she was presented in good body condition, handled well

OPEN BITCH (15:5)
1. Ms S Jones CH ICYNIGHTS DEVILS DESIRE almost 5 yrs old, grey/white brown eyed girl with a foxy head and kind expression, obliquely set almond shaped eyes, well furred correctly proportioned ears, she has a strong front with a deep chest and well laid shoulders, good length of back with slight arch over the loin holding her topline on the move. Good angulations front and rear and correct height to length ratios, slightly sloping croup leading to a well placed bushy tail. Her movement is effortless and ground covering, she is fit for function and totally in tune with her handler. Was very pleased to award her BCC & BOB
2. Mr R & Mrs S Sargent’s KERIQUEL ROSE ROYALE another top quality standard fitting bitch who moved with single tracking and plenty of drive, well muscled and shown in good working condition, she was a real contender for rcc and I look forward to watching her in the future.
3. Dr K & Mr J Brown’s ZARCHENSKI TABOO ZILP AT POCKETSIBES
VETERAN BITCH (7:4)
1. Mrs H Hay’s HUSHWING BUTTERCUP OF SURA a beautiful blue eyed girl with a cheeky expression and correct head, good angulations front and rear, level topline which she kept on the move, slight arch over loin and correct amount of tuck-up, she moved freely with purpose and drive and did not stop wagging her tail, was pleased to award her BVB then she went on to beat her brother in the challenge for BVIB it was a pleasure to watch her in the big ring representing the breed.
2. Mr S & Mrs C Biddlecombe’s KERIQUEL CLOUDLIGHT AT TSARITSA piebald, blue eyed girl with many of the same attributes as 1st, slightly less fluid on the move these two ladies could swap places on another day.
3. Mrs J Mr L & Miss V Nicholls ARCTICTREKS RIPPLE EFFECT AT TARGATRAIL

1. Dr K & Mr J Brown’s TSARITSA TIFAS COUGAR AT POCKETSIBES grey/white blue eyed girl who was giving her handler a hard time, standard fitting girl with a strong front and good lay of shoulders, level topline with slight arch over the loin, good angulations front and rear, good tail set and carriage, moved well once settled BSB pleased to watch her in the big ring moving fluently with her handler.
2. Mrs H Black KORSVIG’S ATIQTALAAQ piebald girl with a pretty head and correct eye and well placed ears, good angulations front and rear, unsettled on the move, handled really well.
