39 Gadenne & Dimont’s Borderpride Laced in Magic Just over 4mths. B/W Super baby and thoroughly enjoying himself and not fazed at all. Nice bone size and shape at this stage Lovely dark expressive eye. Developing well at this stage.

14 Brierley’s Goytre First Addition P-BEG EX 9 ½ yrs. Balanced outline on the stand slightly smaller frame than 2.Good Skull and muzzle ratios and dentition, eye dark and expressive alert and using ears well. Well laid shoulders and depth to brisket. Good rear assembly and muscling to thighs giving a purposeful stride and ground cover keeping shape.

9 Armstrong’s Bramblesaz Winter Revo at Bordiacharm Broad skull, good dark eye and muzzle using ears well. Ample neck into well laid shoulders, good depth to chest and ribbing ample bend of stifles, moved out with purpose.

117 Smith & Ratcliffe’s Sh Ch Arrodore It’s Now or Never JW. B/W 11 yrs. Superb masculine outline on the stand. Skull broad, and muzzle has depth and taper, good bite. Eye is oval set obliquely and cheeky expression, using ears well. Neck is of good length and strong, fitting into well laid shoulder and tidy elbow fit. Chest has depth and nice width, loins broad and firm and good croup and tail set, rear assembly is well muscled giving, a powerful driving action and so fluid and ergonomic in foot lift here. In the challenge he was in my top 3 or 4 but just not quite as balanced and fluid here sadly.

109 Richard’s Sh Ch. Chastanse Sweet William Heavier framed lad on the stand and handling. Good head and muzzle proportions and dentition. Eye of good shape a little lighter than 1. Good ribbing, top line, croup and tail set. Moving was still powerful but not as clean in hock action as 1.

Minor Puppy Dog 3 1 abs

18 Carley & Fawcett’s Laceway Bite the Bullet 8 ½ mths Making good outline on the stand. Skull developing well, nice muzzle depth with good bite. Dark eye and good pigment alertness to ears. Nice gently arched fitting into well placed shoulders. Chest developing well in depth and width at this stage. Nice tail set and carriage. Moved out with confidence and balance whist keeping a good shape.

120 Tandy Turn’s & Domotori Borderheart Havanna Nights 7 ½ mths On the stand was slighter in bone. Skull needs to develop on as does muzzle. Dark eye. Chest will need time to come on for depth and width as does width across pelvis as at moment still narrow giving a very close hock action, front needs to come together also on the move.

114 Simmon’s & Inverno’s Sashdan Pure Imagination With Simmovon (IMP AUS) 10 mths. Outline is masculine and mature for his age. Skull is broad and well defined stop, muzzle has strength and gentle taper with set square dentition. Well set ears, eye is oval with good pigment. Neck broadens into well laid shoulders. Good depth to brisket reaching tidy elbows, nice width of chest. Stands on straight front legs, and correct feet. Top line firm sloping into good croup and tail set. Nice bend of stifle and tidy neat hocks, and thigh muscling all coming together on the move with a powerful smooth fluid action and minimal foot lift whilst retaining balance and shape. RDCC

64 Hughe’s Piece of Happiness Olaf TAF Blue/M Good bone for size and shape on the stand. Head and muzzle ratios good nice muzzle taper to nose, jaws strong with good bite. Using ears well, expressive eye and good pigment. Neck has strength fits into well placed front assembly chest has depth and width, gentle rounding to rear giving good tail set and carriage, moved out steadily and with good hock action and positive foot fall.

43 Green & Ratcliffe’s Borderpride Yes I AM Fayken 14 mth. Bl/W Eye-catching shape on the stand. Broad skull and good stop, muzzle has depth with good dentition, and pigment. Eye of correct oval shape dark and expressive, alertly moving well placed ears. Neck slight arch and fitting into well laid shoulders with corrects angles. Chest has depth and width with good ribbing, broad loins and gentle sloping croup giving good tail set and carriage. Rear assembly matches front angles, with well let down hocks gives an ergonomic fluid ground covering action with ease.

87 Longhurst’s Simmovon Charm Writer 10 mth. Striking well boned shape on the stand Head proportions developing well, good stop and ear set and usage. Dark expressive eye and pigment, jaws strength with set square dentition. Ample neck length into well placed shoulders, tidy elbow fit depth to brisket and chest width. Stands on straight legs and good feet, top line firm, loins broad and croup with good tail set. Neat tidy low set hocks, gives a powerful ground cover with reach in front.

Yearling Dog 7 1 Repeat

This was an interesting class some very narrow in chest and especially pelvis, and loins hence close hocks, some with front angles not matching rear angles so movement was not fluid.

73 Lee & Green’s Fayken I am Soul Makes a lovely shape on the stand, so masculine. Broad skull with good stop and nice muzzle strength and taper with good bite. Eye oval and dark, using ears alertly. Ample length to neck fitting into god front assembly, chest has depth and width. Top line firm with gently slope to croup and good tail set and carriage. Nice bend to stifles, neat tidy hocks. Moving here was the clear winner with a precise foot falling action with fluidity.

65 Jaskolski Piece of Happiness Mickey JW (IMP HUN) Ample bone for size and shape. Skull to muzzle ratios and defined in stop. Using ears. Dark eye and pigment. Neck of ample length. Chest enough width and depth. Pasterns could be firmer for me, which showed on a free stand and coming towards on the move.

Another class where sound movement affected the placings.

77 Lewis Shelella Moon River Smaller size make and shape than 1 Head proportions ok with god stop using ears. Ample depth and width to chest, would like more width in pelvis thus giving a better width to hocks as tended to be close.

23 Cox’s Foxbarton Royal Prince Sable/W 7yrs. Workmanlike make and shape on the stand. Head proportions ok with definite stop and dark eye of good shape. Ample neck and front assembly, depth to chest. Moving had a more positive rear action and width of loins and pelvis.

Limit Dog 9 2 repeats

115 Smith’s Arrodare Wont Back Down 3 ½ yrs. Masculine shape and size on the stand. Lovely head proportions defined in stop, muzzle has depth and good set square dentition. Oval dark eye and well placed ears using them alertly. Neck arched into well laid front assembly. Depth to brisket, top line firm and loins broad sloping to croup giving good tail set and carriage. Stands on good feet and pasterns, nice bend to stifle and tidy neat hocks. Moved effortlessly from all angles easy winner of this class.

10 Barratt’s Pendleway Time Lord Smaller framed lad than 1 Nice overall proportions to head and muzzle ratios with good ear set. Ample neck length into front assembly. A shade longer in loins than 1. Moved out with ground cover, showing a free action just edged into 2nd here on the better free stand than 3.

Super skull to muzzle proportions with a clearly defined stop, broad skull giving well set ears which he uses constantly alert. Eye is dark oval and kind in expression. Muzzle gives set square dentition. Nice arch to neck with ample length, well laid shoulders with good angles. Chest has depth to well-fitting elbows stands good boned legs and neat oval feet. Top line is firm with gentle slope to croup and good tail set. Broad firm loins nice bend of stifle and sound neat hocks. Overall firm muscle tone gives him effortless movement with powerful hocks and front has reach all with minimal foot lift being so ergonomic but is ably assisted by a cleaver handler that can move at a fair balanced fluid pace.

Using ears all the time being alert. Good bite and pigment. Ample neck and good front assembly and depth to ribbing and width of chest. Firm top line and slope to croup and good tail set. Moved out at a steady pace not as fluid as 1.

Nice arch of neck and front assembly and angles. Nice width of chest and depth of brisket and elbow fit. Firm top line and loins, right amount to bend of stiles, and well-muscled thighs. Moved out with purpose and positive foot fall.

21 Chance’s Goytre Chance in a Million Balanced headpiece for ratios. Dark expressive eye and good dentition. Ample neck length with strength. Good lay to shoulder and well developed ribbing, firm loins and well bent in stifles. Stands on tidy neat hocks. Moved with a purposefully steady gait.

Dark oval eye with soft appealing expression. Alert usage of ears. Muzzle tapers with well-set square teeth. Slight arch to neck and well fitting into front angles, chest has depth and good ribbing. Top line firm and loins are broad and right amount of bend in stifles neat tidy hocks. Moved with a fluid balanced ground covering gait.

35 Fawcett Sh. Ch. Laceway Ready To Rumble Another masculine 5 yr. old with super shape and outline on the stand. Super headpiece with defined stop dark expressive oval eye. Good bite and strength in jaw. Good neck length and front angles, with good ribbing and bend to stifles, neat hocks. Moving was not as fluid and balanced as 1 seemed a shade wound up.

22 Chance’s Goytre Chance to Reflect Placed VHC in Limit earlier. Overall balanced ratios to head and muzzle with good dentition. Strength to neck into well placed front shoulders. Here seemed more fluid and precise in actions for and aft and on the side gait.
