31.1st Mrs G Westmoreland.. Gailbulls White Night

7 months old in gleaming white with a flat skull with rose ears set correctly and a good lay back . The ultra white head in contrast to the darkest of pigment , large nose with nostrils to match. A tidy clean split nose roll with almost black eyes set low in his skull . Lovely upturn of jaw with the straight 6 dentures behind .

Broad chest when stacked out lined by big boned front legs up on pastern ending in Nice tight toes with the shortest of nails . From his skull to his withers a lovely curving arch of neck which carrys on to his curved top line . He needs to muscle up in rear end but moved well and took it all in his stride. Showed in pristine condition handled very well for his class,and also with a new handler for the challenge.

27 Mrs L Watkins , Shipshape The Gadgie.

4 year old R/W , in the North of England Gadgie means Man , and that's what this dog is, shown in very fit condition his head quality's are fantastic , large flat skull with length and best lay back in the show today , only let down by occasionally not carrying his ears back .,But when he did wow. Darkest of round eyes with a deep full furrow hiding behind a full nose roll and carrying on to back of his skull. Dark pigment with wide open nostrils. A true wide jaw giving him the most appealing sour expression. Please ask to look at this dogs dentition it's perfect and was the first of the day to put a smile on my face when pulling back his flews. Broad chest straddled by nicely tacked on shoulders

Well boned straight legs with his feet turned out correctly the slightest bit , and standing high on his toes . Good length and arch of neck carrying on with a nice curved top line with underline to match , free straight tail which is low set .excellent rear angulation with well toned thigh muscles, moved with a text book motion

Shown in excellent condition , showed himself better than his handler expected, never put a foot wrong pleased to award him RBD.

Great flat skull with the most fantasticly set rose ears full nose roll crowning g a dark nose with the biggest of nostrils, wide jaw with a classic upside down U shape and another with great dentition, plenty of bone in his front legs ending in nice tight feet with the shortest of nails , good rib , I felt could do with some weight on , handler and dog took a couple of goes to get going but went OK when they did. A very good young handler who has been away from the shows for a while , hopefully see him back in action more regularly.

3 year old male has the roundest of eyes and very dark which he always looks to see where his handler his. They have a real bromance, his skull has length with perfectly placed rose ears and his dark nose showed of by his white face , a split very tidy nose roll with fine wrinkle wide jaw withich gives him the desired stand off expression when not looking for eye contact with his handler . I feel I little more body weight would help him out, but fit with good rear angulation and muscle tone

Moved well when settled, handler a little ring rusty , but hopefully time will see them back to winning ways .

18month, dark brindle and white

Young boy that oozes quality from his head to his toes large skull with correctly placed rose ears , The darkest of round eyes set low in his skull dark pigment and the widest of jaws surrounded by well padded cheeks , yet another dog with excellent dentition which yet again had me smiling, tacked on shoulders to well boned fore legs under a deep brisket with forechest . up on his toes which was all held up his well muscled forelegs which acted like 2 pit props and tight strong pasterns

A well arched and powerful neck with just enough length carrying on to a perfect top line held on the move. Despite his cobby appearance still had an underline to match his top line , this dog is all curves, his topline gently dropping off to a low set healthy free tail. Plenty of all-round substance without been overdone in anyway . As expected presented in pristine condition , Handled to the highest of standards. Did not hesitate to award him BD & BIS

8 year old fawn & white

I started showing bulldogs in 2016 and this boy was on winning ways then and always has been to this day . Despite his age he was still being considered for RBD.

 Big old boy that despite his age still carrys substance along with balance nothing has left him . Large skull with length very well placed rose ears with the round dark eyes that have a youthful glint. Very tidy split nose roll,padded cheeks surrounding a true wide jaw and still has good dentition at his age . Wide chest , straight large boned forelegs and up on pasterns and feet all giving a front on look of a dog half his age . A great barrel of rib with excellent top line tailset slightly high , fantastic muscle condition through out with a coat to match. Moved with ease presented to a very high standard and after all these year would be shocked if not handled well.

7 year old White with clean lines and fine wrinkle on head , beautifully rose ears with correct placement on skull. Lovely round dark eyes again with a youthful glint the darkest of pigmentation on nose set off by the contrast of his white head, with a nice wide jaw

Not aswell off fore bone and substance as 1st place . Good length of neck with decent rear angulation.

Rospaw Maid In Red

R&W just 6 months at her first show with new handler on the day . And she took it all in her stride.

A real baby , deep red coat with a half black mask to muzzle, perfect ear set and very neat rose ears full nose roll with a deep furrow and darkest of eyes a wide jaw . Nice wide chest when stacked , straight legs with enough bone down on her pasterns ., but a bit giddy with it been her first show . She will tighten up as she matures hopefully. Good length of neck plenty ĵof rib and a cobby body underneath her puppy fat which will show nicely once she looses it as is nicely barrel shaped when feeling in behind elbows , good solid rear legs with well muscled thighs . Tail set low .

Moved ok once settled . Handled very well for a new partnership by a young handler

Just turned 1 year old, I've watched this girl all year when our paths met handler and owner are new this year to the dog show world and has done the miles , travelling the length and breadth of the country .

Flat top skull with perfectly placed rose ears nice deep furrow over a fine nose roll , clear round dark eyes open nostrils set in a dark pigment nose . A wide jaw with good dentition . Magnificent tacked on shoulders into a deep brisket leading into straight boned legs tight feet well knuckled toes . . Good reach of neck with her top line curving from her withers up and over her loins and dropping off nicely to a low set ,free and healthy tail . Super barrel rib with an underline to complement her topline line well muscled rear thighs a hesitant start on the carpet and she wS given a second chance which she took and went well, all this and keeping femininity and balance presented to the highest standard and more than happy to award BB & RBIS

I look forward to seeing her mature and hope the team sow their just rewards.

R/W 15 mth old pleasing head with a furrow that goes full length behind a full nose roll, dark clear round eyes set low centred by a large nose with open nostrils . A very desirable wide jaw and another which has exceptionally good dentition .

Tacked on shoulders leading to straight boned legs and up on her toes like a ballerina. Very good reach of neck with correct top line and underline low set on tail which is healthy . I do prefer her with more of a covering ,but she is extremely fit and feminine at the same time.

Moved very well , at one with her handler

16 mths r&w quality bitch , fantastic flat skull with fine rose ears constantly held in place and using them when required. A black mask sets her apart from the rest and I gave myself extra time to see past it to her her outstanding head shape dark piercing round eyes with a glint shining out of the abyss . Very light split nose roll everything is set behind the most fantastic expression brought on by what had to be the most desirable of upswept jaws, when entering her mouth again a smile came across me at the perfect dentition. Tacked on shoulders with a very square front . With wide chest . Well boned straight front legs.

A good reach of neck and barrel of rib as should be top line curving smoothly up and over to a good low set healthy tail , well muscled with rear angulation, moved very well . Shown in the very best of condition handled very well in class. But in challenge not so settled with different handler . Something this team has to work on as I can imagine both bitches being in many a line challenge together. Pushed very hard for RBB

17 month R/W.

Large boned , with pleasing dark round eyes. God head with lots of length giving desired brick shape clean lines from a , split nose roll, wide jaw with a fabulous upturn giving off the stand off expression

Good well muscled tacked on shoulders to straight bone and feet that are high upon her knuckles . Good reach of neck and has a barrel rib matching top line and bottom line well muscled thighs with angulation at hocks .

Good cobby bitch worked well with a very keen handler

Almost 2year old R&W

Broad flat skull with well places rose ears , eyes set low in skull which are round and piercing black , darkest of pigmentation. . Another dog from this kennel that has excellent dentition , tacked on shoulder with a deep brisket . Straight boned front when stacked and calm . Fantastic reach of neck and the most pleasing cobby pear shaped body that is fit . Text book top line onto a low set tail and arguably the the best rear angulation in the show . Unfortunately on the move she wanted to carry on straight out the door and off to Aintree, but with patience the handler got what she needed and she moved well.

I spent a little time around this girl after the show and when she was relaxed and not fighting on her true shape came out .

Hope to see her again at some point.

Large girl with most desirable brick shaped head correctly placed rose ears with a full nose roll and deep furrow extending back over her skull , dark bright round eyes and the blackest of pigmentation , massive nostrils. Beautiful square front with a deep brisket and large bone on well muscled forearms which totally sets her front appearance off . Good length of neck great rib with correctly curved topline with tuck up to match and finished of with a low tail set , well muscled, well angualted rear legs . Moved well and handled well . Done enough in challenge to warrant RBB.

5 years old, brindle and white

Straight away this girls wide upswept jaw gets your attention . Giving the impression of looking right down her nose at me, typical Cumbrian lass.

Super wide nostrils and dark eyes. Correct amount of bone for her size . Straight legs , would benefit with a little length in neck, fantastic cobby body with good rear angulation , stood as good as gold on the ramp and the love she has forcthe handler doesn't go unnoticed. Moved well . Handled very well
