Pastoral Group

German Shepherd Dog Open

1st Rogerson & Gourlay’s Finleric Lucilla – Stunning head on this young masculine male, excellent front, well handled and presented, won the class and BOB on his excellent movement, at one with his handler, later went on to win Group 4.

2nd Brown & Brown’s Rochelles Hawk Warrior – different type, but another nice male, liked his head, well enough constructed dog, moved well in profile, challenged hard to win the class.

Rough Collie Junior

1st MacDonald’s Brilyn Look At Me- promising s/w bitch, lovely head and expression, nicely put together, although needs time to mature, moved and showed well, this young girl has attitude and am sure has a promising future.

2nd Hutchings Riverside Song Thrills of Night at Scottrye – lovely head and expression, front needs time to settled, well groomed and presented, unfortunately lost out on movement to the class winner.

Rough Collie Post Graduate

1st Brodie Rathiel’s Starlenga All For It – Eye catching, jet black tri bitch, this promising youngster has a lovely head and expression, very feminine, good front and correct topline, good rear angulation and moved as her construction would suggest, never put a foot wrong and won BOB & G2, shall watch her career with interest.

2nd Hobkirk’s Chantique Sugar Moon – feminine s/w bitch, liked her head and expression, well made front and showed to advantage, lost out in movement.

3rd Hutchings Riverside Song Flor D’Luna at Scottrye (IMP ROM)

Rough Collie Open

1st Brodie Rathiel’s – Shanaburn Country Road – masculine s/w boy, who I have done well in the past, lovely head, well put together front, strong back end, moved well, lots to like about this boy, who was handled to perfection, just lost out in the challenge for BOB.

Bearded Collie Graduate

1st Ryan’s Dychix Invictus for Razkal – liked his head, had an appealing typical expression, went well in front, well made dog, very well presented and handled to advantage.

1st Johnston’s Corimist Fashion Star – absolutely gorgeous young bitch, who caught my eye upon entering the ring, such a gorgeous head, well placed eye and stop, combining to give the desired expression, excellent front, good topline and strong forequarters, which produced the breed typical and desired movement, her movement was a joy to watch, showed and handled to absolute perfection and when it mattered pulled out all the stops to win the class, BOB, BIG and was thrilled to see her go BIS at the end of the day.

2nd Gibbs Snikkles Bluebeard at Pirateer JW SHCM SHCEX – an old favourite, who I have done well in the past, he’s now a veteran and still looks a picture, lovely head and as I have said in the past, so well constructed and moved very well, sadly on the day, narrowly missed out on winning the class, he later won the Pastoral Special Veteran class and I was informed that he had achieved his Veteran Warrant, well done!

3rd Handley’s Bargemon Brigadoon at Barkenbear JW

Welsh Corgi (Pembroke) Open

1st Miller & Haslam’s Monarchcor Lady Luck at Metiza – my eye was drawn to this promising youngster, lovely head, with the desired expression, very well put together, she moved and showed so well, handled to perfection, she won BOB and later won Best Special Pastoral Puppy.

AV Pastoral NSC Open

1st Diamond’s Ch Eeiksfjord Aurora Charm SHCM – loved the head and expression on this Swedish Vallhund bitch, was shown in good condition, she moved and showed very well.

2nd Simpson’s Lamintone for the Drive at Applecreek – young tri Australian Shepherd dog, was handled sympathetically, nice head, good colour and texture, pushed hard for the class.

AV Pastoral Special Minor Puppy

1st Clark’s Enchanter De L’Ambassadeur des Belges into Japaz (IMP HUN) – this immature Belgian Shepherd Dog, looks rather promising and certainly eye catching, had the desired head and expression, very well made and once settled moved well enough to take the class, shall watch this raw youngsters career with interest.

1st Lamb & Saltmarsh’s Birselaw Dark Charmer for Macmoon SH CM VW – 9 year old boy, who moved and showed well, typical head and expression, nicely made boy,covered the ground well, later won AV Terrier Special Veteran.

Jack Russell Terrier Open

1st McCluskey & Young’s Totgrees Hendrik to Chadbrook – really appealing head and expression, well put together 11 month old male, held his tail on move, showedand handled to get the best out of this impressive young male. Group 4

2nd McCluskey & Young’s O’Mare Mio Delle Syrenuse of Chadbrook (IMP IT) – another promising youngster, this bitch has a good head, giving the desired expression, lovely shape and moved and handled to advantage.

3rd Clayton & Clayton’s Northdrum Happy Feet

Border Terrier Open

1st Grassie’s Ravenside Run To Me at Sandyfaulds – this eye catching youngster caught my eye upon entering the ring, lovely head, good front, moved well from behind, showed to advantage and was awarded Group 3.

2nd Nicol’s Upend Country Lad at Jacraila – lovely head, well put together youngster, showed well, just lost out on movement.

3rd McCluskey & Young’s Chadbrook Astrid

Airedale Terrier Open

1st Bain’s – Unique In All Ways of Malton (IMP NED) Sh Cm – typical head, good front, well made bitch, had lots to like about her, unfortunately was not willing to show of her many charms today.

Skye Terrier Open

1st Pringle’s Ch Esgia First and Fairest – absolutely lovely head on this bitch, correct proportions, with being long low and level, moved and showed very well.

Lakeland Terrier Open

1st Clayton & Clayton’s Nisyros Capuccino for Lokilake – absolutely gorgeous dog, such a lovely head, really catching the eye, excellent construction, which was well balanced and compact, moved an absolute dream, showed his socks off and was handled expertly to win the group. Group 1

Scottish Terrier Open

1st Mcniven’s Frazandmitch All Eyes On Me at Dajaveil – lovely young bitch, lovely head, well put together, handled and showed to advantage, won the class on movement.

2nd Mcniven’s Frazandmitch Top Of the Game at Dajaveil – another nice dog, liked his head, handled and showed well, unlucky to meet the bitch.

AV Terrier NSC Open

1st Anderson & Watt’s Kaisenborgs Hypa Hypa as Fox at Nisyros – promising young Smooth Fox Terrier male, despite his young age he really showed his socks off, exceptional head, good front, correct topline and move as construction would suggest, shall definitely watch this youngsters career with interest, Group 2 and later won AV Best Special Puppy.

2nd Hederson’s Finleric Snow Quartz – another lovely Smooth Fox Terrier, she has a good head, well made and moved well, so unlucky to meet the young male.
