Chapman’s Konation Baggy Trousers. 11 month old GSD, good head proportions, well set ears, nice shoulder, good turn of stifle, correct top-line and good croup, ground covering gait, BP. SY 8(2) 1. Barnes/King’s Starvon Fame Awaits for Izlou JW. A very nice young Swedish Vallhund, 17 months old, good shoulder, level top-line, good turn of stifle, balanced throughout, an excellent prospect, RBOB. 2. Bevis’ Beabeardies Xtra Special. Bearded Collie, full of vim and vigour, good head, balanced angulation and good reach and drive on the move, a little unsettled on the day. 3. Mann’s Dixierose Thatz Ma Girl. PG 6(1) 1. Bevis’ Beabeardies Cinnamon Girl. A lively Bearded Collie, excellent overall proportions, good shoulder, good reach of neck, strong top-line, correct tail set and carriage, good reach and drive, BOB 2. Mann’s Dixierose Thatz Ma Girl. Samoyed with very good head, excellent smiling expression, correct bone, good overall proportions but was a little untidy when viewed from behind on the day. 3. Aristides-Pickard’s Sambreeze Mikki Bear Cub. O 4(0) 1. Bevis’ Ramsgrove Sunshine at Beabeardies. 6 year old Beardie, correct shaped skull, well set ears, good reach of neck, level top-line, absolutely parallel on the move. 2. Lock’s Bridus Heikki. A nice Finnish Lapphund, keen alert expression, a little 10 to 2 on the stand but parallel gait and shown in full coat. 3. Phillips’ Pebbleena Drizzle. COLLIE (ROUGH) PG 1(0) 1. Ludlow’s Tudorlyn Golden Dreamer for Malina. Well handled and presented 8 year old male, balanced throughout but with more than enough coat, good ground covering gait, RBOB. O 2(0) 1. Benton’s Ch. Brooklynson El Dorado ShCEx. Very well handled and presented 6 year old male, good head, correct eye shape, well set ears, correct reach of neck, well angulated front and rear and completely out-moved his competition, BOB. 2. Ludlow’s Tudorlyn Misty Dreams for Malina. A 9 year old veteran, a credit to the breed, good head and expression but somewhat lacking in condition on the day. COLLIE (SMOOTH) SY 1(0) 1. Sewell’s Wynele Strike It Rich to Lewarne. 10 month old tri colour male, excellent head and expression, correct reach of neck, powerful shoulders, well angulated front and rear, a slightly loose top-line which will tighten with maturity but an excellent prospect, RBOB & BP. O 2(1) 1. Benton’s Oakestelle Artemis ShCEx. Very nice 6 year old blue merle, balanced angulation, good reach of neck, strong top-line, medium bone, good croup, easy light footed gait, BOB. SHETLAND SHEEPDOG P 4(1) 1. Fagg’s Valdosta Lionking at Lynscot. Preferred the head and expression of 1 and viewed in profile absolutely balanced angulation, light footed, easy ground covering gait, overall excellent proportions, RBOB & BP. 2. Hoare’s Stanydale Ocean Wave. Attractive blue merle, good shoulder, plenty of drive but not quite the overall balance of 1 at this stage. 3. Weller’s Evad Halloween Spice. SY 5(0) 1. Straw’s Dukeson It’s Amazin’. Good head, well set ears, correct shape of eyes, excellent overall proportions and never put a foot wrong on the move, parallel gait when viewed on the out and back. 2. Mitchell’s Valdosta Gracelands. Just preferred the head of 1 but this exhibit had excellent angulation front and rear, good reach and drive and is a nice prospect. 3. Cheal’s Valdosta Galadriel at Faemadra. PG 4(0) 1. Mitchell’s Valdosta Gracelands. Repeat. 2. Stock’s Shemist Dark Angel. 6½ year old bitch, attractive head, excellent angulation and good top-line, moved to advantage. 3. Cheal’s Valdosta Galadriel at Faemadra. O 5(0) 1. Winfield’s Lirren Quickstep to Oakcroft JW. Correct head and expression, good balance throughout, strong top-line, out-moved the class, BOB. 2. Straw’s Dukeson Laced with Magic. Good head, nice shoulder, as much back length as I would like but moved to advantage. 3. Stock’s Shemist Sea Dragon. WELSH CORGI (PEMBROKE) SY 1(0) 1. Legerton’s Anwyl Leave With A Kiss for Solaw (imp AUS). 12 month old bitch, still very loose at this stage but good shoulder, nice turn of stifle and pleasing feminine head, RBOB. PG 1(0) 1. Egan’s Brownieglen’s Bwbachod. A youngster who is somewhat single minded at this stage and needs a firm hand, strong masculine head but excellent angulation and shown in full coat and condition, well muscled throughout, when brought under control could be a good prospect. O 3(0) 1. Legerton’s Anwyl In The Limelight at Solaw (imp AUS). Won the class on movement, good reach and drive, feminine head although I would have preferred a little better eye shape and set, BOB. 2. Aylott’s Barwal Bager Boy (NBT). Good head, nice forechest, good top-line but lacked the drive from behind. 3. Egan’s Brownieglen’s Bwbachod. AV PASTORAL P 3(1) 1. Sewell’s Wynele Strike It Rich to Lewarne. Nice blue merle, good head and expression, moved with a parallel gait which allowed him to take 2nd place. 3. Cheal’s Valdosta Galadriel at Faemadra. PG 7(2) 1. Bevis’ Beabeardies Cinnamon Girl. Bearded Collie. Repeat. 2. Mann’s Dixierose Thatz Ma Girl. Samoyed. Repeat. 3. Aristides-Pickard’s Sambreeze Mikki Bear Cub. O 6(4) 1. Bevis’ Ramsgrove Sunshine at Beabeardies. Bearded Collie. Repeat. 2. Aylott’s Holly Pippin at Barwal. Welsh Corgi (Pembroke). Very nice 6 year old bitch, well angulated, parallel throughout but carrying as much weight as I would like on the day. V 7(1) 1. Benton’s Ch. Oakestelle Venus De Milo VW ShCEx. Collie (Smooth). Blue merle, 10 year old bitch with outstanding light footed gait which allowed her to cover plenty of ground, I have judged this bitch on previous occasions and she is an absolute credit to the breed in her veteran years. 2. Lock’s Ch. Bridus Pikkumimmi JW. Finnish Lapphund. 10 year old bitch, lovely shape, super head and expression and another who is a credit to her breed in her veteran years. 3. Hoare’s Briggsview Opalesque. AV IMPORTED BREED REGISTER PASTORAL O 2(1) 1. Symonds’ Adonis-Ares Del Montevergine for Morrioghan (imp CHE). 8 month old puppy Bergamasco, good overall proportions, good head but loose throughout and very much ‘up behind’ at this particular stage but with maturity will, I am sure, will be a good prospect, BIR.
