My sincere thanks to the committee for inviting me to Judge.I must say it was a great honour and privilege, as this was my first Breed Club Open Show. A special thank you to the exhibitor's that gave me a lovely entry of quality dogs and bitches and for accepting my placings, the atmosphere was lovely especially from the ring side. Many thanks to the committee members for working so hard, especially to the ladies in the kitchen for providing a lovely lunch. Huge thank you to Karl Gawthorpe and to Matt Bordacs for stewarding and keeping the ring running smoothly.

1st YOUNG MS E - POTTERZURI MISTER MUFASA

Yellow 8 1/2 months, pleasing head not overdone for his age, good pigment, correct eye shape and colour. Clean neck, flowing into a level top line tail coming straight of his back, ample bone and neat feet, correct texture of coat, moved well around the ring.

2nd DOUGLAS MRS J M - CENTENALEE WHISKY SOUR AT KYORLI

Yellow 8 1/2 months, kind masculine head with gentle expression, good eye colour and shape, strong neck flowing into a good top line straight of back, good coat, did not move as well as one.

PUPPY DOG 3(1a)

1st HOPKINSON MRS D M - ROCHEBY SQUADRON LEADER

Yellow 11 months, quality puppy, kind soft masculine head and gentle expression, very good pigment neat set ears, clean neck well laid shoulders, good top line, nicely balanced front and rear angulation, with ample bone well let down hocks and neat feet moved well. One to watch for the future.

Black 17 months, masculine head and soft expression, good depth of muzzle, strong neck,good top line, muscled hind quarters ample bone and neat feet, correct coat texture, moved ok.

1st BALISS MRS C - TISSALIAN JUST IN TIME 

Yellow rising 2 yrs, kind head and expression, excellent pigment, eye colour and shape,  good length of muzzle, neat ear set, clean reach of neck, flowing into a good level top line and tail set, good spring of rib, ample bone, standing on neat feet, correct texture of coat, moved well not phased at all with his young handler, super job.

2nd LESLEY MRS L - STEELEIGH LUCK DAY  Beautiful boy strongly built with pleasing masculine head, good eye shape showing his kindly expression, clean strong neck, well laid back shoulders, good depth of chest, well - sprung ribs, firm over the loin, Ample bone standing on good feet, good texture of coat, well set thick otter tail. Preferred the movement on one.

Yellow 11 months typical breed type nicely balanced all round with clean outline. Pleasing masculine haed and expression, good length of muzzle, good eye shape and pigment. Short coupled with good spring of rib, Good front and rear angulation, coat of correct texture, good length of leg with ample bone and neat tight feet, moved well. I was literally splitting hairs between him and his litter brother. i preferred the way he carried his tail straight of his back.

1st MANNING MISS E - MARCHURCH IMPERIAL TOPAZ

Darker yellow nearly 2 yrs, I remember judging this young dog when he was in puppy and he still did not disappoint today, well grown and in excellent condition, masculine head with soft expression, excellent pigment. Good front and rear angulations, level top line and tail set, good turn of stifle, let down hocks standing on neat feet. In excellent coat, moved well covering all ground.

2nd LESLEY MRS L - STEELEIGH LOVEMACHINE

BLACK 4 yrs 2 months, another lovely boy with masculine head showing kindly expression, clean strong neck chest of good width and depth, barrel ribbed but not over weight, firm over the loin. Level top line set on super thick wrapped otter tail, muscled first and second thighs ample bone standing on good feet, coat of correct texture to touch. Preferred one on movement on the day.

Chocolate 7 yrs Masculine head with kindly expression, good length of muzzle, good stop strong neck, short coupled, muscled hindquarters Moved steadily around the ring.

1st (BD-BIS) REYNOLDS MR M & MRS C - SH CH CARROMER CHIPPENDALE

Yellow rising 4 yrs this young dog stood out int the class for me today, lovely breed type in top condition and coat of correct texture. Lovely clean outline and balanced throughout, masculine head with kindly expression Good length of muzzle, excellent pigment, correct eye shape and neat ears. Clean reach of neck set into well placed shoulders flowing into a firm level top line with correct set tail. Barrel ribbed firm over the loin, Good turn of stifle well let down hocks, ample bone standing on good neat feet. He excelled in movement, moving straight and true going and coming back to a good stance. Not phased at all with his young handler.

2nd AYRES MR C J & MRS P - HANNABEE TO HULL N BACK WITH MUSUBI

Black 5 1/2 another lovely boy nicely balanced throughout, beautiful masculine head, kindly expression good length of muzzle, good pigment, good eye shape neat ear set. Clean neck flowing into well laid shoulders, firm level top line and tail set. Good depth of chest and spring of rib, well boned good length of leg and neat feet, super coat of harsh texture, moved well around the ring.

Black 8 yrs another strongly built dog with typical masculine head, good length of muzzle, good eye shape still giving him his kindly expression. Clean strong neck flowing into a level top line good thick otter tail nicely clothed, good width and depth of chest , good barrel ribs with plenty of heart room. Not over weight, Coat of good texture to touch moved ok.

Black 2 yr 2 months, Short coupled, Clean outline. Feminine head, good length of muzzle correct eye shape and colour, near ears. Clean neck flowing into well laid shoulders good top line and set on tail, good front and rear angulation, correct texture of coat in good condition, good length of leg standing on good neat feet, she moved with ease carrying tail straight of her back, moving straight and true covering all ground well handled.

2nd WOODBURN MR N & MRS P - CENTENALEE GO PIPPA GO

Yellow 2 1/2 pretty feminine head good pigment correct eye colour and shape, good reach of neck, balanced throughout with good spring of rib, level top line set on tail good turn of stiffe, neat feet did not move as well as one on the day.

Black 17 months, I really liked her as soon as she came into the ring. Clean out line with good front and rear angulations. She has a kind feminine head with gentle expression, good length of muzzle, good eye colour and shape, clean reach of neck, frim level top line, thick otter tail, carried a little high. Good double coat and texture, muscled hindquarters ample bone with good turn of stifle, well let down hocks standing on good feet. She moved well covering all ground.

2nd DAVIS MISS Z R - ROCHEVALE PALM READER

Black 15 months, another lovely girl with excellent coat, nicely balanced in profile, pleasing head and gentle expression with good stop and neat ears, clean neck well laid shoulders, good top line thick wrapped otter tail coming straight of her back, good second thighs and turn of stifle well let down hocks standing on neat feet and moved well.

Splitting hairs between the two bitches in this class. i chose the bitch on movement on the day.

Strong neck, well laid shoulders good level top line with tail straight of her back, nicely balanced front and rear, muscled hindquarters and good turn of stifle. Good double coat, excelled in movement covering all ground.

2nd TOOTH MRS L - LUDALOR LOQUACIOUS

Darker yellow 3 yrs another lovely girl slightly broader in skull than number one, still having a kind head and gentle expression, good length of muzzle and good stop, clean neck, well laid shoulders, good depth of chest with a good spring of rib, good level top line and tail set. Ample bone and neat feet, Good coat, just not moving at her best today.

Yellow 5 1/2 yrs, Quality bitch with clean out line, standing alone in her class today, lovely feminine head with gentle expression, good eye colour, good reach of neck, nicely balanced throughout with a good top line ample bone and neat feet, correct texture of coat, moved well.

Yellow 8 1/2 yrs, nicely balanced in profile, with pleasing head and kind expression, good pigment neat ears and good eye shape. Clean neck with good depth and width of chest plenty of heart room, good firm level top line and correct tail set. Correct double coat and texture, Moved straight and true covering all ground very attentive to her handler.

2nd TOOTH MRS L - LUDALOR ELDERBERRY JW

Black 12 1/2 yrs, another nicely balanced girl in fit condition for her ae, sweet feminine head with gentle expression, good length of muzzle and stop, neat set ears, clean neck, well laid shoulders, good top line and tail set, good coat and moved well with her young handler.

3rd DAWSON MR & MRS R I & MISS M - BESKERBY SINGSONG

Also handled very well with her young handler.
