Handsome dog, masculine in his head with a dark round eye giving good expression. Ample bone to his strong front with shoulders well laid and good depth of chest with moderately sprung ribs. Muscular loin leading to his powerful well-made rear with a good turn of stifle and strong well let down hocks. He moved soundly around the ring. B.O.B.

Well balanced brindle dog of correct size and masculine throughout his body. Correct head and eye carried by his long arched neck. Well laid back shoulders to his front and ample depth of chest with definite tuck up. Muscular rear with angles balancing to his front he moves freely around the ring.

2nd Wilton-Clark Ms J. Shalfleet Chilli Cracker

Brindle bitch also full of the same qualities as the class winner with an elegant outline I just preferred my winner on movement on the day.

1st Hills Mrs C. & Miss M. Shimmeree Calico’s Cupid.

Beautiful elegant bitch full of breed type throughout her graceful outline. Loved her head with dark oval eye giving a bright expression. Long, arched neck leading down to her well laid back shoulders and deep chest with well sprung ribs all tucking up nicely. Broad, gracefully arched loin to her rear with well bent stifles and strong muscular thighs. All of her excellent conformation shone through as she moved with great freedom around the ring, driving well from behind and she was true coming and going. B.O.B. and I was pleased to award her first in the hound group.

White with brindle bitch presented in excellent condition. Feminine in her head with good bright expression from her oval eyes. Good length of neck leading to her well-laid shoulders and ample depth of brisket. Strong well-muscled rear with good turn of stifle and strong hocks. She moved with good reach to her front and drive from her rear. R.B.O.B.

Fawn dog presented in excellent hard condition. Well made in his front and rear with a typical head he moved soundly around the ring.

Handsome chocolate dog of correct size and presented in excellent muscle throughout his body. Good head carried well by his neck of ample length leading down to his well-made front with a prominent breast bone and ample depth to his chest with ribbing well sprung and extending well back. Broad loin with slight arch leading to his well-made rear. He moved with a free flowing action around the ring. B.P.I.B. and later 2nd in the hound puppy group.

Well-made compact tri colour dog of correct size. Slightly domed skull with a dark eye giving good expression. Well laid shoulders to his front with good bone and ample depth of chest leading to his short muscular loin. Well made in his rear with angles complimenting his front. He moved well over the ground.

Handsome dog correct in his head with small rose shaped ears all carried well by his muscular long neck. Good front with straight legs and elbows set neatly under his deep chest. Well sprung ribs carried well back to his short loin. Well bent stifles to his rear with strong muscular thighs and good strong hocks. He moved well with good reach and drive.

2nd Wenman Mr M. Wenannou Vader (Beagle).

Handsome tri colour dog who is nicely balanced throughout. Correct head and ex[pression from his dark eyes. Long low set ears. Well-made front with good depth of chest. Short in his couplings and with a level topline leading to strong well angulated rear. He moved soundly around the ring.

Well balanced keen and alert dog of correct size. Well-proportioned head, lean and nicely chiselled with oval eyes. Nice clean neck leading down to his moderately angled front. Ample depth of chest reaching to just above elbow. Level topline leading to his strong well-muscled rear with moderate angulation. Nice well knuckled feet, well padded, On the move he covered the ground with a springy, trotting action. R.B.O.B.

Black and tan dog of correct size with a masculine head and aloof expression from his dark triangular eyes. Well laid back shoulders to his front with good strong pasterns. Deep in his chest with ribbing extending well back. Muscular broad loin leading to his well bent stifles which complimented his front perfectly. Moved soundly around the ring and presented in good coat.

Handsome well-knit tri colour dog who is sturdy and compactly built. Masculine head of correct proportions with slightly domed skull, low set long ears and a dark round eye giving an appealing expression. Nice neat front with straight forelegs and well laid back shoulders all fitting well around his deep chest with well sprung ribs. Short in his coupling leading to his muscular rear with well bent stifles and well let down hocks. On the move he carried his tail up like a sabre and covered the ground with long reaching strides and ample drive from his rear. B.O.B. and third in the hound group.

Beautiful, refined bitch full of quality and well-muscled. Correct head with good expression from her dark eyes carried well by her long neck. Well laid shoulders to her front with corresponding angles to her powerful rear. Her body is deep with a nice tuck up to her strong loin. On the move she covered the ground with great length to her stride.

1st Simm Mrs S. Stonemartin Anlon At Ezhar (IMP) (Azawakh).

A breed I am very passionate about and who judges need to understand the unique stand-off nature of the breed and how to handle them in the ring. Loved this dog who stood high on his leg with everything fitting well into his lean and elegant frame. Correct head planes, long, lean and exquisitely chiselled with a dark almond eye all carried well by his long, muscular neck. His shoulders are long and slightly slanted with long upper arms and straight legs. Correct height to length ratio, narrow in his chest but with excellent length of ribs. His under line tucks up well to his rear. Muscular rear with long second thighs and moderate angulation to compliment his front perfectly. On the move he carried his tail out covering the ground with a high trotting action. B.O.B. and very pleased to award him 4th in the hound group.

I love this beautifully made brindle bitch who is full of breed type and quality. My hands just flowed over her graceful flowing lines. Powerful and athletic in her appearance she has a feminine head of correct size with a bright expression from her oval eyes. Strong neck of ample length leads down to her front with well laid shoulders and straight legs. Well sprung ribs to her deep chest extending well back to her strong loin. Her rear in strong and well-muscled with well bent stifles. On the move she covered the ground with great freedom to her stride and plenty of drive from her rear. Presented in superb condition she went onto win reserve best veteran in show.

2nd Baker & Clements Miss G. & Mr D. Duke Midnight William (Dachshund Miniature Smooth-Haired).

Well balance chocolate dog correct in his head with well-placed shoulders fitting neatly around his deep chest with prominent breast bone. His ribcage extends well back to his strong loin. Complimenting angles to his rear assembly enabled him to move with good length of stride around the ring.

He moved with great vigour to cover the ground with ease and he kept his outline at all times. B.O.B.

Another well balanced dog with a masculine head and super expression. Good strong neck and a firm topline with good front and rear assembly. Presented in good coat texture he moved well around the ring.

Beautiful bitch presented immaculately and when she settled she moved with good reach and drive. Typical head with lovely dark halos around her dark eyes. Well made in her front with upper arm fitting closely to her body which has ample depth and well sprung ribs. Well angulated rear which complimented her front perfectly and all of these qualities shone through when she moved. R.B.O.B.

Arched neck leading down to her well-made front with well laid shoulders. Good depth of brisket, well sprung ribs leading to her broad loin. Well bent stifles and well angulated hocks to her rear. On the move she covered the ground with ease, keeping a level topline and showing her pads. B.O.B. and later went on to win Reserve Best In Show.
