Working Groups + German Shepherd Dogs
German Shepherd Dog:
Puppy (1)
1. Brett’s Chica Guapa. Very promising bitch puppy. Attractive head, good length of neck, correct overall proportions with depth of chest, nice angulation and good length of rib. Super topline and really sound with good reach on the move. Lovely pup. BPIB
Junior (2)
1. Hughes’ Barwoods Iago. Beautiful head on this 14 mo male. Overall showing strength, without coarseness, with lovely overall balance, good angulation, and bone. Good quality coat. Made a very pleasing picture on the stand and moved out soundly with reach and drive. BOB
2. Finnegan’s Reyakosa Diablo. 16 mo male with good head. Not as mature as 1, still needing to drop into himself. However, of good proportions and again, correct topline and lovely and sound on the move.

1. Finnegan’s Reyakosa Brando. 6 yo male. Another very pleasing dog. Correct in body and topline. Very good front angulation and strong rear. Good feet. Was a close decision but I felt the Junior dog just had the edge today.

1. Croft’s Dreamwolves Oh My Oh My. Stood alone but made me very happy! Quality 6 yo male with the most handsome of heads – broad and strong, with lovely balance of skull to muzzle. Neat ears, nicely set and correct bite. Gave the impression of power, compact but with sufficient length of leg. Super bone. In good coat and with lovely plume. His overall sound construction was demonstrated on the move with was very sound. BOB and Group 3.

1. Perks Tremywyddfa Hot Gossip. 2yo male of good size and built on strong, sturdy lines. Strong head with good stop. Muscular neck and good in body. Sufficient breadth and depth of chest and correct body length, with strong loin. Strong bone and good feet. A little sluggish on the move, feeling the heat I think, but sound and balanced. BOB.

1. Lord & Roberts’ Ygogarth Space Oddity. 10 mo brindle male. Attractive head, still developing, eyes well placed and pleasing; good skull to muzzle proportions and nose slightly turned up. Good square outline with sufficient bone and good feet. A little uncertain of the floor, but when settled moved ok. BPIB

1. Marina’s Marinbox Murder In Three Acts. 5 year old red dog of nice size and square in outline with good bone and feet. Not as refined in head as the puppy, but shown in very good, muscled condition. Correct angulation, strong neck and good topline. His construction showed on the move, which was powerful with reach and drive. BOB.

1. Latter’s Stoneglad She’s A Rebel. 16 mo bitch who was very ‘together’ – lovely make and shape allied to a refinement to complement the power and strength. Good head with broad skull and short muzzle – very feminine. Moved out well. BOB
2. Latter’s Stoneglad Casanova. Litter brother to one. Strong, masculine head. Overall, not as forward as his sister, a little looser all through and this showed on the move.

1. Griffiths’ Korifey Axl at Amious. Lovely 9mo male. Super head with alert expression. Strong and elegant, balanced in outline good bone and super feet. Good neck and topline and tailset. Lovely on the move. BPIB PG1

1. Robertson’s Cockneyoka Love Over Gold. Classy 17 mo bitch. Elegant head, clean and of good length. Good length of neck, good long neck, correct topline. Super bone and feet. Presented a very attractive picture both standing and on the move. BOB. G4
Post Graduate (2,1)
1. Robertson’s Cockneyoka Ventura. 23 mo bitch with lovely square outline. Attractive head, good neck, lovely topline and taliset. Sound on the move, but appeared to be hampered by the limits of the ring today.
Great Dane:

Junior (3,1). Lovely litter sisters 16 mo and many similarities so comments obviously reflect this. Both still have lots of developing to do, but showing much promise.
1. Evans’ Belarosedane Lady Bayleigh. Super head and impressive overall make and shape with lovely bone and strong feet. Very elegant and moved well. BOB. G2
2. Evans’ Belarosedane Beany Babybel. Another lovely girl, not quite as forward as her sister, but many of the same comments apply to her.

1. Lloyd’s Cewrirdwr Morgana. Lovely 2 year old bitch displaying great balance and substance. Very attractive head, broad skull. Classic outline and so well constructed. In lovely coat which was beautifully presented. Came alive on the move, which was free and easy. BOB and G1.

1. Goodban’s Seittor Magic Spell with Keljaygo. Really lovely 6mo puppy dog. Even at this point in his development I liked his overall compact outline, handsome head and good bone and feet. Lovely topline. Very sound on the move. Impressive youngster. BOPB/BPIB and PG2

1. Brereton’s Casey Wizard Montenegro Ross (imp MNE). Handsome, broad head on this young dog. Lovely expression, good balance of skull to muzzle. Could be slightly more compact in body, but good bone and well arched round feet. Moved soundly.

1. Amphlett & Sym’s Cornetto at Sybasprinter. Foxy head, correct ears and eye shape and set. Pleasing neck and good topline. Sufficient length of leg and good bone and feet. Racey and athletic outline. Moved soundly. BOB.

1. Amphlett & Sym’s Sybasprinter Slash. Really lovely example with good head and super overall balance, good length of leg. Made a great picture on the stand and moved ok. Unfortunately he was very unsure in the ring and I was unable to award him as I would have liked. I hope he settles.

1. Brennan’s Saintlyntree Queen Pebbles (St Bernard). Very feminine bitch with the most lovely front assembly. Attractive head, good neck. Good overall outline but needs to tighten in rear, which I am sure will come with time. BAVNSC.
2. Buchwald’s Alfross Tulabo Deganwy (Leonberger). Pretty bitch with good proportions. Strong bones and feet. Rather upright in front, which showed on the move.

1. Lloyd’s Carlos Cancrimo (imp Poland) ShCM (Newfoundland). Handsome 9yo Landseer. Substance and power! Lovely example and in tip-top condition. Presented to perfection. A real pleasure to go over. On the move he was so sound, moving freely. Cracking dog!
