BUBA Open Show 18th March 2023

Critique for Eurasier

A small but quality entry of this lovely breed. The two puppies exemplified the feminine and masculine and were both delightful. Temperaments were great. Thank you to the committee for the invitation – such a super show.

Junior (2,1)

1. Bickford’s Alphacanis Hot Coffee. Just 6 months, this very pretty and feminine baby showed bags of promise. Head developing and has lovely eye and good ear placement. Good overall proportions, with correct front and rear angulation and in lovely puppy coat which was well presented. A little overawed but coped very well. Moved out neatly with good foot placement.

Post Graduate (1)

1. Parkinson & Dunhill-Hall’s Titan Vormund Des Legendes De Retz Kay6danmy (Imp FRA) NAF/TAF. More mature 10-month puppy – handsome and all male. Correct in head with good skull to muzzle ratio. Well placed ears of correct size and lovely eye shape giving him such a good expression. Strong frame with good angulation, sufficient neck, good bone and feet. In lovely ‘mahogany’ coloured coat with harsh topcoat and sufficient undercoat. When settled he moved out well with vigour. BP and RBOB. Look forward to seeing him in maturity.

Open (2,1)

1. Mordan-Grimm’s Everendeavor Dynasty of Anitra (Imp CAN). The last time I went over this 10 yo bitch was at a seminar when she was a puppy. I loved her then and she is just as admirable as a veteran. She carries her age so well – presenting a lovely picture of good breed type. Classic head with delightful expression, neat ears, good eyes. She was shown with her black coat shining. Lovely construction and so fit. On the move in the class she was steady, and, in the challenge, I asked for more energy from her handler – who complied and this showed this lovely veteran’s sound and true movement to advantage. BOB.
