JUDGE – NORMA ELLIS (NORMBAR)

Thank you to the Committee for organising such a well run show. The quality of the the dogs was very good, making my decisions more difficult in a good way. Nice atmosphere plus friendly sportsmanship prevailed.

Minor Puppy Dog – 3 ent

1st - BEACONPIKE CAELUS – ( Mr S & Mrs K Golding)

     Smart eye catching pup. Good head proportions with a strong muzzle,

. Correct shoulders, straight front and tight feet, well turned stifle with correct tail set. Excellent coat texture & thick pelt . Strode out well keeping a firm topline, good forward reach . Looked well stacked. BEST PUPPY IN SHOW

2nd – THORNHESWIN HELLFIRE IN BORDERFOX – ( Arianna & Emma Dixon)-

         Showed well for his handler. Best of heads with strong muzzle, straight front tight feet, good harsh jacket thick pelt, correct topline and tail carried well on the move. Strode out well moving soundly.

3rd – COCKLATHORNS SOUTH – (Mr J & Mrs M Geddes)

Puppy – 2 ent

1st BILLY BOY MAYHEM – ( Chris Foreman & Laura Kennan)

     Mature boy, looked the part stacked and didn’t disappoint on the move. Good head and teeth, excellent coat texture and thick pelt, good topline and short tail, moved steadily

2nd COCKLATHORNS SOUTH – (Mr J & Mrs M Geddes)

Classic border head, stood better than in last class, good harsh coat & thick pelt carrying a bit of weight. First time out for pup and handler so both a little nervous.

Junior – 6 ent 2 abs

1st TYNEOTTER BOLT FROM THE BLUE – (Mrs Nicola Anderson)

     Workmanlike and mature boy well muscled and fit. Much to praise in head and coat. Thick pelt. Well constructed, best of fronts and moved soundly, tight feet.

2nd FEVSTONE POLAR AJAX AT SAXHEATH – (M A Heathcote)

Very smart youngster pleasing head, straight front and tight feet, moved soundly in between coats today good thick pelt.

3rd KARISON KIRSCH – ( Miss Karen Johnson)

1st NETHERHILL LOCHY – (Sharron Laverick)

     Pleasing head good thick pelt and harsh coat texture. Neat feet straight front, moved well , full of himself on the table.

1st BEACONPIKE ADONIS – (Jen Strother)

      Mature boy best of heads strong neck and good shoulders, harsh coat and thick pelt good topline, would prefer a better tail set, moved out well

     Eye catching boy. Harsh crisp jacket thick pelt good otter head, easily spanned, good straight front tight feet, narrow with good angulation.

2nd HIGHTARN NIGHTFALL AT ROSEGHYLL -(Angela Johnson)

       Broad skull dark eye, level topline profuse harsh jacket with plenty of pelt, moved out well not quite driving in front as first.

3rd WHITTONGLEBE POACHER (Mr G & Mrs J Mackenzie)

    Well balanced and presented, good head and stop, strong teeth good reach of neck, nice topline into short tail, harsh jacket and thick pelt, ribs well back neat feet, moved out well. RES BEST DOG

2nd THORNHESWIN HUNTSMAN ( John Craig Dixon) Fit boy good head and strong neck, good shoulders and front, compact feet, well ribbed, moved true covering the ground well. Harsh coat.

3rd RAEDWULF DAYBREAK ( Mr M & Mrs V L Atkinson )

1st CEDERHILL DISH OF THE DAY FOR DEXLIN (Mr B & Mrs L P Inness)

   Well balanced with great lines and a sound mover, flat skull, keen eyes, neat well placed ears, narrow through and best of shoulders and straight front, tight feet. Harsh jacket and thick pelt, looked a picture stacked everything in moderation. Covered the ground well with a free flowing action when viewed in profile. BEST DOG.BEST IN SHOW

2nd THORNHESWIN RING OF FIRE (John Craig Dixon).

       Good head and keen eye, strong shoulders good ribbing, profuse harsh coat and thick pelt, moved soundly driving from rear.

3rd KEEBANK JUST IN TIME ( Linda Keene)

1st CARROCK COMPLICATED (Judith Fawcett)

      Presented a nice balanced picture overall for one so young. Appealling head with strong muzzle. Narrow straight in front, easily spanned ribs, excellent harsh double jacket with thick pelt. Moved with drive.

2nd RAGATAM DALWHINNIE (Tracy Peacock)

     Another promising puppy, well put together, good length of neck into well set shoulders. Good length of rib, narrow throughout, easily spanned, good texture to coat with thick pelt. Moved well.

Puppy 5 ent 3 abs

1st ELEMCELLA GOOD TO GO (Ruth Marshall)

      Nicely developed head. Narrow all through, good shoulders, well ribbed back making her easy to span. Exhibited in good harsh jacket and pliable pelt. Moved out well with handler.

2nd RAGATAM ADELPHI (Louise Simpson)

      Got her act together in this class, good head and keen eye, well balanced with good shoulders and narrow front, in between coats, got into her stride and move well.

Junior 7 ent

1st OTTERBOBS BEATRIX (Mr & Mrs Gilpin).

      Feminine girl with a quality head and super expression, good depth of muzzle, well placed ears, good neat feet and straight front, narrow in shoulder, harsh coat and thick pelt, moved well and looked a picture stacked.

2nd STINEVAL SASHA (Mr A G & Mrs C Horner)

       Pushed hard close up, no doubt will change places many times. Presents an overall balanced picture, appealing otter head and keen eye. Excellent harsh coat and thick pelt, good topline which she held on the move. Finished off with thick carrot tail

       Nice bitch looked well stacked best of harsh coats and thick pelt, moved so soundly crying a bit of weight.

2nd A LONG TIME COMING (Mr & Mrs Swindle)

      Good head and keen eye, best harsh Jacket and pliable pelt, full of herself on the table and was raring to go when asked to move, moved with purpose using her tail.

     Smart girl showed better in this class, good length of ribs, good front and shoulders, good head and depth of muzzle, good harsh coat and thick pelt, moved better for her handler,

2nd CARRICKFARM MYRA (V Margaret Armstrong)

      Full of herself today, feminine head, good coat and pelt, tight feet, straight front, not quite as settled on the move today.

3rd FOXY FELL AT ROSEGHYLL (Angela Johnson)

1st PICER MIRABEL OSTLER (Mr & Mrs Graham & Sharon Pickering)

Correctly proportioned head, good depth of muzzle, neat ears, pleasing in shoulders, ribs carried well back, moving out well holding topline throughout, best of harsh jackets and thickest pelt finished off with carrot tail.

2nd HAYSTOUN COSMIC DANCER AT PALESIDE (David & David Mitchell)

      Close up will change places many times. Looked a picture stacked, good head and keen eye, narrow front and easily scannable, good length of neck into clean shoulders , well ribbed back and pleasing outline, harsh jacket, moved soundly.

    Beautiful head and expression, looked so balanced in profile and on the move. She is a nice size, excellent in shoulders and upper arm. Good narrow front and tight feet. Easy to span, correct in rib, super topline, correctly well angulated quarters. Harsh coat texture and thick pelt. Moved with purpose driving from her strong quarters. BEST BITCH

2nd FOXWATER DESTINY ANGEL AT CHORBECK (Mrs H Haughton)

 Smart girl close up, best of heads and dark eye, harsh jacket and loose pelt, straight front, ribs well back, drove out well with strong hindquarters, good tail set and angulation, tight feet, plenty of bone.

3rd THORNHESWIN NORTHERN LASS ( John Craig Dixon)

      Such an honest medium sized feminine bitch, flat skull and dark eye, good dentition, quality harsh coat with loose pelt, level topline and short thick tail. Strong well muscled hindquarters, well angulated, tight feet. Moved soundly keeping her topline best of fronts and shoulders. RES BEST BITCH

2nd CARROCK CURIOSITY (Judith Fawcett)

      Close up another lovely girl, nice size, good head and depth of muzzle, strong neck, well laid back shoulders, straight front, good ribbing, good harsh coat and thick pelt, moved soundly, thick short tail, tight feet. Challenged hard.

    What a quality girl most appealing head and eye, best of shoulders and narrow front, tight feet, good topline, good turn of stifle, harsh coat and good pelt. Moved so well enjoying her day out.
