Many thanks to the exhibitors for entering some quality dogs under me. They were exceptional and the placings could easily change as I was splitting hairs.

Weimaraner - Puppy (3 Entries, 1 Abs)

1st & BP. Robson’s Kalimor Washington at Robricci. Just 6 months old, but a balanced puppy with a handsome head and pleasing expression, scissor bite. Good angulation fore and aft, with width of second thigh, deep chest and moved well. 2nd Charlish’s Gunalt the Hangover. 8 month old puppy. Preferred the head of 1, but he had a good reach of neck, deep chest, good turn of stifle and angulation and moved well.

Weimaraner - Junior (3 Entries, 2 Abs)

1st Longbottom and Milby’s Gunalt Curtain Call. Just over a year old and a lot to like about this girl. I would like to see her when fully mature. Feminine head, with scissor bite, good spring of rib, deep chest and had fore-chest, in hard condition which showed in her excellent movement.

Weimaraner – Post Graduate (2 Entries, 1 Abs)

1st & Res BOB Robson’s Kalimor Nancy at Robricci Pleasing head and expression, correct scissor bite and median line. Deep chest and good angulation fore and aft, correct feet and well-muscled. Moved with drive.

Weimaraner – Limit (4 Entries 0 Absent) 1st & BOB Maskell & Rayners Enjager Harmony with Brownbank JW. Caught my eye as she entered the ring. A pretty and feminine bitch, balanced and the sweetest of heads and expression, scissor bite, correct height to length ratio, deep chest, correct tail set and carried correctly on the move. She flowed round the ring with drive. 2nd Tierney’s Gunalt Elderflower at Greyfurs. Another bitch that was balanced with a decent head and expression, scissor bite, good reach of neck, she moved well but would prefer a lower tail carriage. 3rd Pilatova’s Sabsky Svratka.

Weimeraner Open Dog (2 Entries 1 Absent) 1st McMahon’s Ir Sh Ch SilverkelvinJupiter Over Magdala. Masculine head but not overdone, scissor bite, good reach of neck, deep chest and enough fore-chest, well-muscled and moved well if a little proud of his tail.

Weimaraner – Open Bitch (2 Entries, 1 Abs) 1st Pilatova’s Sabsky Sasanka Sound, a rangier bitch, head okay, scissor bite, decent reach of neck, rear angulation was good.
