Fred Hathaway Special Award Classes

I would like to thank the officers and committee for their kind invitation to judge at this super show. I had a lovely entry of beautiful dogs who were all presented in fab condition and made for some hard decisions.

The sun was shining and the setting for the show was just perfect, thank you to my Stewards who kept the ring running smoothly.

Special Award Puppy 4,1

1.Loach & Zubair S A& S Putjade Poldark Eye Catching 6 ½ month old Rich golden dog puppy. Kind head with soft expression and dark pigment. Good length of neck into a well laid shoulder, elbows tight fitting. Well boned and tight cat like feet, well bent stifle and hocks well let down. Moved with drive carrying a level topline.

2.Mandley Mrs V Maltqudos Enchanted Splitting hairs between 1&2 Pretty mid gold bitch puppy with a feminine head, Balanced front assembly and backend good topline and tail set, moved well. Just preferred the ring presence of 1.

3.Lewis Mrs S & Miss M Fairwinds in Spaceman

Special Award Yearling 12,3

1.Mell Mr M L & Mrs HJ Sansue Love Actually at Meloak Pale bitch in good coat and condition, Feminine Head, Correct front and rear angulation, good spring of rib, Excellent topline both stood and on the move with her effortless free movement.

2.Smith Mr TB & Mrs LG Goldmarker Luminess (ai) Smaller dark bitch with a sweet head well angled both front and rear, good spring of rib, a strong level topline and correct tailset held on the move. She powered round the ring with good reach and strong rear drive.

3.Millington Mrs Golmas Guard of Honour at Jarabees

Special Awards Open 7,1

1.Nelson Mrs VJ Cadwst Eternal Flame Mid Gold Bitch in lovely coat and condition, Sweetest of heads with kindly expression, Good length of neck flowing into a well laid shoulder and excellent return of upperarm, well muscled backend. She covered the ground well whilst maintaining her lovely outline.

2.Crookes & Jenkinson Mrs D S & Mrs R J Quakerhall Flare by Pandora Another lovely bitch in great coat and condition, well balanced and moved well really liked her - splitting hairs i just preferred the expression of 1.
