Tibetan Spaniel, Samoyed & Shetland Sheepdog.

Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge at their last evening open show. A lovely show, and thank you to all the exhibitors for their entries under me. I had a wonderful time and enjoyed going over so many wonderful dogs.

Tibetan Spaniel

Puppy (7,1)

1st Leak’s Velrok Razina Of Madire. 11 month old gold bitch. What a little stunner of a puppy, and she didn’t disappoint on the table! Extremely pretty with the most beautiful expressive oval eyes. Correct ear placement. Lovely length of neck flowing into well placed shoulders, enough width on chest and good spring of rib. Perfectly level back and Tail set high, giving the best of silhouettes. True mover, and moving with purpose. Must have a bright future, definitely one to watch. BP.

2nd Collett’s Velrok Ringing Gold. 11 month old dog, litter brother to my winner and very similar applies. Masculine without coarseness. Beautiful Cream sable with black mask. Lovely eye and expression, just preferred the ear set on his litter sister. Moderate angulation front and back, correct hare foot. Well muscled rear.

3rd Wallis Baga’s Velrok Rafina.

1st Wallis Baga’s Velrok Rafina. 11 month old bitch. 3rd in previous class. Golden sable. Lovely outline, with a great reach of neck. Enough bone, but still feminine. Level back, slightly longer in loin. Correct tail set and giving a lovely outline. Great angulation. Showed herself better in this second class.

2nd Close’s Velrok Royal Gold with Arikara. 11 month old dog. Lovely head and expression. Perfect head proportions, with correct set ears. Eyes nice and dark of correct shape. Enough neck, and deep chest. Would like maybe a little more leg. Great level back with well set tail. Naughty on the move today.

3rd Short’s Malia Miss Dior.

1st Short’s Malia Harvest Flower. 2 year old golden bitch. An outline to take your breath away! Everything I was looking for, and even more. The prettiest of heads with dark oval eyes. Perfectly domed skull of the correct width, using ears well to give just the best expression. Well cushioned muzzle with nothing overdone. Perfect length of neck going into correctly placed shoulders. Good width of chest. Correct hare foot. Level topline with ribs extending well back into a high, well plumed tail. Moderate angulation all round, and nice straight hocks. Keeping topline on the move at all times, a real show girl who knew what she wanted! BOB.

2nd Horton’s Parvati Bedigebu. 4 year old bitch Red Sable. Slightly heavier than 1 all round, but a lovely bitch nevertheless. Well cushioned muzzle and correct shape of eye. Good neck into correct shoulders. Well boned, with correct hare foot. Good spring of rib and level topline. Lovely set of tail with large beautiful plume of hair giving a lovely outline. Moved well.

1st McGreade’s Taronakits It’s Kaboo For Frostia. 10 month old bitch. Lovely outline and very typy. Correct wedge shaped head with correctly flat skull. Dark eyes of correct shape and well set. Thick ears of correct size and using them well. Moderate length of neck, flowing into correct lay of shoulder. Body still needing the firm up, but she has time for that! Moderate angulation all round with straight hocks. Moved well when focused. BP

1st Lepley’s Sarnoushka Silver Spirit. 2 year old bitch. Pretty bitch, of different type to the others present today. Lovely wedge shaped head with correct eye. Well placed ears. Good lay of shoulders, but would like a little more width of chest between front legs. Good flat, feathered feet. Medium length of back with a strong loin. Correct set and length of tail. Well muscled hind. Moved well.

1st McGreade’s CH Nikara Neverending Dream For Frostia. 4 year old bitch. Two things came to mind for this bitch, Elegance and type – what else could you want in this breed! That desired smiling expression on this girl is second to none! The most stunning head piece with mesmerising dark, almond shaped eyes. Broad flat skull with correct well placed ears. Superb length of neck flowing into correct shoulders, standing straight in front on the best feet. So well boned for a bitch too, but without losing her femininity. Correct length of back with muscular loin. Lovely set and length of tail, Flowing down which was well plumed. Perfect angulation and well let down hocks. Showing great power with ease on the move, as this breed should. There’s no wonder she has her title! BOB

Shetland Sheepdog

1st Sorockyj’s Sheltisha Royal Approval. Just coming up to 12 months, blue merle bitch. Delightful headpiece with everything to like. Lovely eye and well placed ears. Good neck into a level topline, falling away just at the croup. Well sprung ribs and just the right amount of bone throughout. All angles in the right place. Low set tail of good length. Light nimble mover, well covering the ground! BP

2nd Walker’s Tooralie’s Tornade. Black and white 11 month old dog, with so much to like. This was definitely my hardest decision today as the boy is just beautiful. The most handsome head giving a lovely expression. Well set ears and neck of good length. Well proportioned body, good topline with correct tail. Just preferred movement on 1 today, but could easily swap places.

3rd Whitchurch’s EmmaView Mastermind.

1st Bastiani & John, Mesdames’ Rannerdale She’s A Lady of Auberswell. 13 month Sable and white bitch. Best mover for me today and that’s what won her BOB! Beautiful feminine head. Expressive dark almond eye of the correct size. So typy all through. With correct proportions. Standing straight in front with great angulation. Great depth of chest and spring of rib. Level topline into corrected set tail. Well boned for a bitch, standing of correct oval feet. Covering the ground well, while still holding that elegant outline. No exaggeration for anything, just a true honest bitch. BOB

2nd Hateley’s Mohnesee Maebelle JW. Sable and white 15 month old bitch. Ultra feminine. Smaller than 1 all over. Very pretty bitch, with good proportions. Correct ears with good width between. Good length of neck, topline good. Correct tail set and length. Feminine amount of bone. Great angulation. Had the best hind of the entry today, with straight well let done hocks. Moved well.

3rd Whitchursh’s Emmview Sirprize Sirprize.

1st Hateley’s Mohnesse Mr Bobbie Black JW. 3 year old Tri coloured. Striking male, masculine without coarseness. Good head and eye, well placed ears giving a lovely expression. Okay length of neck, level back. Good spring of rib, strong loin. Good bone with correct feet. Moved free with grace.

2nd Saunders’ Tachnamadra Button Moon At Fernfrey. 2 year old Tri coloured bitch. Very pretty and feminine. Nice dark almond eye, correct placed ears giving a good expression. Good length of neck, correct shoulders with enough width of chest. Heavier on bone. Level topline and good set of tail. Great angulation. Moved well.

3rd Whitchurch’s Emmaview Show Me The Way.

1st Sorockyj & Haine’s Padawan Mandalorian. Sable and white dog of 2 and a half years. Masculine boy with lots to like. Lovely dark eye, with clean skull. Well set ears. Good bone and very typy. Good width of chest and spring of rib. Strong loin leading into low set tail. Great muscle and angulation. Covering the ground well with power, yet grace.

2nd Rutterford’s Kelgrove Midsummer Blue at Stormhead. 4 year old Blue merle dog. Of good size and well boned, giving a lovely typical outline. Strong powerful boy with lots of like. Level back and great shoulders. Compact body, with good spring of rib. Standing straight in front on good feet. Covering the ground well on the move. Just preferred ear on 1.

3rd Whitchurch’s Emmaview Simply The Best.
