I would like to extend my grateful thanks to the Committee for inviting me to judge at their show and to those who entered under me. I would also like to thank my two ring stewards who were a pleasure to work with, and particular thanks to the TT entries for dealing with a change of rings at short notice.

Tibetan Terriers

Junior Dog or Bitch (5/1)

1st Hadlow’s Kybo Santa Arizona at Quidditch, BOB, 16 months, gold/white, very balanced holding a lovely shape on the move and when standing. Excellent bone, with well laid shoulders, straight and parallel front, and good spring of rib with deep brisket. Topline level throughout. Compact and well muscled, low set hocks giving excellent drive around the ring. In lovely coat and well presented. Good pigment and correct head – overall a lovely picture throughout the class.

2nd Dawson’s Sanchara Where You Belong, RBOB, BP, black/white, 11 month old puppy. Very well developed for a puppy – in excellent coat and kept a nice picture throughout. Lovely shape, well muscled, good chest, well laid shoulders and well bent stifles giving nice drive and keeping a level topline throughout. Large dark eyes, well feathered ears and head. Lost out to 1 on maturity but definitely one to watch.

1st Dawson’s Sanchara Where You Belong, as 2nd in Junior

2nd Inwood’s Boshanti Yashmina at Bedivere, 2.5 years, black/white, excellent bone and body, straight front and well bent stifles. Nice head with good pigment and feathering. Moved well when settled and stood four square. In good coat and well presented.

3rd White’s Trytez Midnight

Open Dog or Bitch (4/0)

1st White’s Trytez Try’n Stop Me, 3 year old, black/white. This boy caught my eye in the class – compact and keeping a lovely outline throughout with level topline. Low set hocks meaning he moved with drive and well presented in flowing coat. Good pigment and a nice head with ample feathering.

2nd Hadlow’s Snoanda Doing This My Way at Quidditch, 2 year old, black. Moved well around the ring with nice angles and good drive. Parallel behind and well muscled with fair spring of rib. Heavily furnished with a flowing picture around the ring. Sturdy and alert.

Junior Dog or Bitch (3/0)

1st Wood’s Wirewoods Ida Dunit, RBOB, 16 month old, ruby, kept a level topline throughout with well set tail and drive around the ring. In gleaming ruby coat with good pigment. A very feminine head with soft gentle expression and dark eyes. Good depth of chest, well laid shoulders and straight front. Stood four square. Overall a lovely bitch.

2nd Crouch’s Cobbets Cameo Peach with Nassan NAF, 17-month-old, blenheim, a graceful bitch with a gentle feminine head, and well feathered ears to complete the picture. Nice markings and in good coat with lovely texture and well presented. Moved parallel behind with well set hocks and stood four square.

3rd Willis’ Dinitros Princess Theodora, BP

1st Stanton’s Verheyen Isabelle at Cassandy, BOB, just under 2 years old, blenheim, lovely size and well presented in gleaming coat with pearly white offset with rich brown markings. Excellent depth of chest and straight front, moved parallel behind with well set hocks. Large, dark round ears and high set ears with plenty of feather. Moderate length of neck. Stood four square throughout.

2nd Willis’ Arianna Salika Soul (Imp Ukr), blenheim, 18 months old, rich colour with excellent pigment. Good body with large dark round eyes and high set ears. Good length of neck. Moved parallel when settled and kept a level topline.

Open Dog or Bitch (2/0)

1st Stanton’s Cassandy Forget Me Not, 4.5-year-old, black/tan, very pretty feminine head, coat returning. Petite bitch with compact appearance and correct size. Good body and when settled moved well with level topline, well carried tail, parallel drive behind, and straight front with well laid shoulders.

2nd Willis’ Dinitro’s Amber Inferno, 3-year-old, ruby, excellent rich colour with good pigment. Showed well for handler with nice shape which she held on the stand also. Straight front with well laid shoulders, well-turned stifles and parallel drive behind.

Chihuahua (Long Coat)

1st Culverhouse’s Kechua James Hathaway by Lykath, RBOB, 13-month-old, male, alert and compact with a well-rounded skull, large round eyes and large well flared ears, correct teeth, in lovely coat and moved well – keeping a level topline and good angles throughout. Well laid shoulders with forequarters well set under compact body. Tail set high and carried up and over back – overall a lovely picture.

2nd Etherton’s Kechua Jumpin Jack Flash NAF, BP, 8-month-old, male, puppy, just a youngster but showed well moving parallel throughout and with spirited and swift movement, lovely textured coat, which is developing well, dark pigment, well rounded skull with large round eyes and well-set ears.

1st Culverhouse’s Lykath’s The Pirate King, BOB, 2-year-old, male, beautiful head with well-rounded skull, large round dark eyes, large flaring ears, excellent bone and body, compact and well made. Lovely angles with straight front and well let down hocks with good turn of stifle. Moved well when settled keeping a lovely topline and spirited free movement with forceful, brisk action.

2nd Cater’s Pixels Moonlit Sea JW, 3-year-old, bitch, nice body and level topline, profile held a lovely shape. Well-made head with beautiful expression, dark eye. Moved well, parallel behind, Compact and alert girl with spirited showmanship.

Papillon

Junior Dog or Bitch (1/0)

1st Davidson-Poston's Elena Kolekcja Szuwarka Spinillons (IKC), RBOB, BP, 6-month, tri, bitch, lovely dainty, well-balanced bitch. Alert and lively, skull slightly rounded and correct proportions, medium dark eyes and large mobile ears. Good bone and kept a level topline throughout. When settled moved well with lovely coat texture and dark pigment. For a youngster showed lively temperament and excellent showmanship.

1st Davidson-Poston's Dual CH Sky Butterfly Elven Cron Prince Spinillons SK WINNER23 (IMP RUS), 2-year-old, tri, male, stood alone but exuded class. Well balanced overall with intelligent and lively temperament. In gleaming coat with excellent pigment. Beautiful head with dark eyes, large heavily fringed ears and leading into a nice length of neck. Chest deep with excellent body, rear angulation well developed with well-turned stifles and moved parallel throughout. Light, free-flowing and covered the ground with ease.

Pomeranian

Junior Dog or Bitch (3/2)

1st Holman’s Altina Alabama True Romance, RBOB, 14-month-old, lovely youngster. Compact and short coupled and sound throughout. Foxy head with dark pigment, bright dark eyes and well-set ears. Clean shoulders well laid back with straight front and compact back, excellent ribbing and chest. Moved with lively briskness, parallel throughout and a lovely picture.

1st Moores’ Klassna Tell Me More with Chibaya, nearly 3-year-old, in nice coat with a pretty head, dark eye and good ear setting. Straight front with good depth of chest and ribbing. Moved with lively spirit around the ring.

Open Dog or Bitch (2/1)

1st Holman’s CH Altina’s Henry Higgins JW, 2-year-old, this boy stood alone but shone out in terms of class. Beautiful foxy head with dark well-set eyes and erect ears. Compact and short-coupled, well-knit throughout with straight front, excellent ribbing and deep chairs. In beautiful abundant coat. Moved with vivaciousness around the ring, keeping an excellent profile from the side, front and behind. Overall, a lovely dog.
