PLYMOUTH & DISTRICT CANINE SOCIETY.

 Staffordshire bull terrier

 Lewis Rochelle (Metalbull)

I would like to thank the committee of Plymouth & district canine society for my invitation to judge this show. I want to thank my ring stewards who were very friendly and welcoming and also a big thank you to the exhibitors for bringing their dogs under me for my opinion. I had a lovely day so thank you very much. Class

161 puppy (1/0)

1st 279-Dawe, A, MARSTAFF BUTCH CASSIDY.BPIB.RBOB.

Smart 6 month old red dog. Stunning puppy with a lot to like at this age. Pleasing head shape with dark round eyes, nice dark clean muzzle with correct skull to muzzle ratio and distinct stop. He stares at you with a keen expression and has neat rose ears. He stands four square with a good depth of brisket for his age and has a good straight front. He has a nice spring of rib and pleasing underline for this age. Once he had settled he moved up and down the ring holding a parallel movement, a level top line and correct tail carriage. With more ring-craft and time, this puppy can only get better in my eyes and hopefully will have a successful career once matured. Thank you for bringing him.

Class 162 special yearling (2/0)

 1st- 281, Oram, D & P, KAMARISTAFFS ROYAL RUMBLE.

This B/br dog possesses a nice blend of bull and terrier. Nice deep broad skull with distinct stop, good pronounced cheek muscles and a round dark eye. He has well laid back shoulders following a good strong neck. He has a nice straight front with neat feet. He has a nice spring of rip, good underline and a level topline. He has good rear angulation with a good bend of stifle. He seemed unsettled on the move and was misbehaving for his handler which made him lose out on RBOB today as I couldn’t assess his movement. With more practice and ringcraft, this dog could do very well. Thank you for bringing him.

2nd- Moore, J, LUTHAIS LOCH KATRINE AT TIADES. Pretty b/br bitch who has a lovely feminine head. She houses a nice broad skull and correct muzzle ratio with a nice blend of bull and Terrier. She has nice dark round eyes which follow you around the ring. She has a beautiful expression which draws you in. She has lovely rose thin ears which completes her expression. She has a nice spring of rib and decent underline. Her topline was held stacked and on the move. She has good angulation and moved up and down the ring holding a parallel movement with correct tail carriage. She lost out today against this dog on overall bone and substance. Thank you for bringing her.

 Class 163 post graduate (1/0)

His muzzle is dark and strong. He has charming round dark eyes with lovely neat rose ears. He had a nice clean expression which just draws you in. He has well laid back shoulders proceeding to a good strong neck. This dog has a good Straight front which is pleasing to look at from afar, he also has a good depth of brisket and nice neat feet. This boy has a good spring of rib, pleasing underline and a good topline which is held stacked and on the move. He has well muscled hindquarters and stands four square.
