Golden Retr

 Minor Puppy ( 5 entries 1abs )

1st Mrs P D Gayler. Carolake X’ Marks the Spot

A very eye catching feminine puppy of 7 months of age. Well presented in a beautiful pale gold wavy coat. My notes say a well balanced puppy and she certainly is, a compact puppy with a beautiful outline, displaying perfect symmetry in her front and rear angles. She has a beautiful feminine head with black pigment and kind dark eyes creating a melting expression. She has good bone and lovely tight neat feet, her hocks were straight and well let down. She has a super topline which she held on the move. Her movement was effortless despite the uneven ground in the ring she kept her stride perfectly. I was pleased to award her Best Puppy.

2nd Mrs PT Todd. Van Gough of Sunshine’s Valley with Toddrosa NAF

Another lovely puppy, he also caught my attention as he entered the ring and going over him didn’t disappoint, he is a large well made boy of only 6 months of age.

His profuse pale coat and fabulous body shape draws your attention he was happy and enthusiastic just as you would expect from a puppy his age. He has a fabulous male head with a beautiful soft expression, lovely dark eyes and black pigment. He is well angled front and rear with close elbows and round neat feet. He has plenty of bone and is very well bodied a lovely spring of rib, short coupled and a level topline. He wasn’t as settled as 1 today but it was only his second time in the ring! Both of these puppies have a very promising future ahead.

Junior ( 3 entries 1 abs )

1st Mrs JM & Mr MP Clarke. Sunnyoak The Look of Love

A very pretty girl well presented in a lovely pale coat with good feathering. Just a few days short of her first birthday, she is a picture of elegance. A lovely feminine head with a sweet expression and fabulous black pigment.

For me what stood out with this girl is her lovely reach of neck which just flowed into her correct shoulder layback leading to a super level topline.

She is well angled with a good straight front placing her legs right under her body, nice straight legs and neat feet. When asked to move she just floated around the ring in this class effortlessly with good reach and drive.

2nd MS ES Fisher. Siagar Moonlight Sonata Via Palizolla

A beautiful feminine girl, slightly smaller framed than 1, well presented in a lovely pale coat. A pretty feminine head with good pigment, dark eyes and a sweet kind expression, a good reach of neck into well laid back shoulders she is short coupled with a good length of leg to body ratio and nice tight fitting elbows. Her topline is level and tailset correct. She was slightly unsettled on the move today, however the ground in the ring was uneven, she was much more settled in the next class and moved out well with her handler.
