Although not a massive entry I was blown over with the quality from some these dogs today, it made for some hard decisions and I’m grateful for the opportunity to get my hands on them, thank you. Italian Spinone Junior (3,0) 1st Bovio, Ilsolo River Island. Beautiful bitch who I liked very much Excellent head with correct divergent planes, good eye with melting expression, strong in neck, well layed shoulders, correct through topline, well sprung ribs leading to strong well muscles loin, minimal tuck up, effortless on the move, happy to award RBOB. 2nd Clark & Sharp, Affilato You Can Bank on It. Handsome head, lean good length and correct divergence, classic in outline, still raw at the moment but expecting that as a puppy dog he will drop, maturity of 1 was just too evident in this class. Correct through topline, sloping croup and good tailset, his movement was true fore & aft. BP & Puppy group 3. 3rd Culling, Lucoru Blown Over. Open (4,0) 1st Wagh, Sh Ch Prottino del Vera by Dewdhala. Beautiful bitch with stunning head of correct portions and divergent in planes, classic in outline for me, well boned & muscled throughout, Strong in neck into well layed shoulders, deep in body with minimal tuck up, ribs back reaching to strong loin, angulation true fore and aft, beautiful effortless movement, she just had it all together today. BOB. 2nd James, Inostricani Fianna. Well-constructed pretty bitch, strongly boned throughout, well balanced with good muscle tone, true in angulation fore and aft, ribs well back with strong muscled loin, moved with enthusiasm,beautiful girl, just lost out to winner as I preferred her overall outline, for me this girls a slow maturer and that’s lovely to see in our breed. 3rd Culling, Lucoru Fairy Tale of New York. Sussex Spaniel Post grad (5,0) 1st Barnes, SAXONBEJAYZ JOHN KERR. Pleasing head with wide skull & lovely frowning expression, strong through body, long neck with well layed shoulders, moderate angulation fore & aft, lovely big round feet, moved well, giving handler a hard time, keep practicing though, he’s a nice dog that would benefit from some schooling. RBOB. 2nd Hipgrave, LORD OF THE GLITTERING CAVES. Another one giving his handler a hard time, which again needs a little practice. Gorgeous youngster developing well, handsome in head with wide skull & pronounced stop, strong through body, moved true and effortless. BPIB 3rd Mcandrews & Hague, PRYTANEION LAKHESIS. Open (4,0) 1st Allen-Line, MARQUELL TORSHCA CHAOS. Such a handsome headed dog, so full of breed type for me, a, good width of skull, gentle frowning expression, ears thick and well-set, long & strong in neck, pleasing length of leg giving a balanced outline, moderate bend of stifle, well off for bone and muscle throughout, so happy on the move, again, another one that really needs some schooling, he’s so right and unexaggerated a potentially a good showing future ahead of him. Pretty well portioned head and melting expression, straight in fore-quarters with adequate depth to chest, ribs well back with slight tuck-up under well muscled loin, arched tight feet, strong through hindquarters, such a true steady mover. 2nd Hardcastle & Bradley, CASTLEDOGLEY FIRENZE. A lot to like on this pretty bitch, developing nicely, correctly portioned head, strong and true throughout, her movement was stunning, I hope she gains her confidence and goes strength to strength. Such a handsome head without being overdone at all, lovely intelligent eye, oozes elegance throughout, strong in neck, shoulders well layed, straight boned through forequarters, chest deep enough with well sprung rib and pleasing tuck-up, stifle moderate, thighs well muscled, absolutely moved with drive and purpose, easy BOB. 2nd Hardcastle & Bradley, VIZSLANYA SZIENA JW. What a lovely bitch, such a typical head and melting expression, foequarters straight, adequately deep in chest, nice tight elbows, well muscled throughout with good angulation fore & aft, moved our really well, just wish she had that confidence to complete the picture.
