Puppy (1):

1st – Norbury’s HEARTBURY MATADOR – 8mth old dog clean in outline with correct eye colour & shape. Good reach of neck and well-placed forearm. Clean straight forelegs with correct oval bone. Level topline. Short coupled body developing well for his age. Good muscle tone. Moving out soundly. BP

Junior (2): Both lovely bitches in this class.

1st – Brooksmith’s MILLPOINT GOLDEN PIPPIN – 12mth bitch full of quality with a super feminine headpiece correctly with correct eye shape and colour providing a kindly expression. Ears set on correctly. Lovely length of neck slightly arched into a well-placed and laid-back shoulder. Good spring of rib carried well back. Short couplings with correct firm topline and tailset. Excellent hindquarters with good muscle tone. In super coat and condition moving with ease covering the ground well with super hind action. Pleased to award her BOB today, will watch her career with interest.

2nd – Booth’s LUNDGARTH JUBILEE - 14mth old bitch also full of type and quality. She wasn’t fully settled in the ring at first but later settled into her stride. Pretty head of correct proportions. Clean arched neck and well sloped shoulders. Lovely depth of forechest. Good spring of ribs set well back with nicely arched loins. Well turned stifles and good muscle tone throughout. Correct tailset. Turned out in lovely coat and hard condition. She excelled on the move with super free flowing action and power from behind.

Post-Graduate (5):

1st Booth’s LUNDGARTH JUBILEE

2nd – Collin’s COLLHOLME ANGELIQUE – Nice head would prefer a bit more length of muzzle, kind eye allowing for a bright kind expression. Ears set on correctly and close fitting. Decent length of neck and lay back of shoulder. Straight forelegs of correct oval bone. Good spring or rib. Lost out to 1st on soundness and movement.

3rd Ovel’s HOOKWOOD ENCHANTERED AT JIMAURA

Open (2):

1st – Brooksmith’s NIGHTCOLD PIPKIN – 4yr old bitch of good size. Stacked she presents a clean balanced outline. Prettiest of heads with correct proportions, lovely dark eye and kind expression. Super length of neck slightly arched into a well laid-back shoulder. Clean straight forelegs. Super depth of brisket providing plenty of heart room. Good spring of rib. Well-made hindquarters and excellent muscle tone. Moving effortlessly and soundly around the ring to win her the class. Had to settle for RBOB today to her super young kennel mate!

2nd Bird’s DROVEBOROUGH’S THE GAMBIT AT VINEPOINT – Up to size male who was well put together. Masculine head of correct proportions. Super length of neck. Well placed shoulders. Super depth of chest and spring of rib. Correct firm topline. Hindquarters well-muscled. Short loin. Just not as sound behind as 1st today.

Puppy (5):

1st – Eastwood’s & Glendinning PLAIGLEN NACHO Red male 8mth old who stood presented a balanced outline. Masculine head of correct proportions nicely chiselled below the eye, dark eye providing a kindly expression. Correct ear set. Excels in neck and shoulder. Lovely bone and neat feet. Straight forelegs. Correct spring of ribs for his age, short-coupled body. Well rounded rump with excellent rear angulation. Turned out in tip top condition. Moving soundly with great drive. BP

2nd- Brown’s POPEBEL LIMITED EDITION 9mth old Blue bitch, nicely made throughout. Pretty head with a kind dark eye, good neck & shoulders. Lovely spring of rib for her age. Good size. Excellent rear quarters with good turn of stifle. Moving soundly fore & aft. Presented in lovely coat & condition.

3rd -Turner’s LOCHRANZA CELTIC SPRING

Junior (6,1):

1st -Brothwell’s WISSANT MOONLIGHT SKY JW – Blue bitch 15mth old pretty headpiece of nice proportions. Decent neck and well laid-back shoulder. Straight forelimbs. Good bone. Decent spring of ribs and short coupled. Level topline. Well-rounded quarters with enough muscle tone. Presented in good coat. Moving soundly with drive.

2nd - Brown’s POPEBEL FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS masculine head, lovely front angulation stood on good bone and catlike feet. Body developing nicely for his age. Decent rear quarters. Moving freely. Presented in nice coat.

3rd – Marshall WISSANT MOON & STARS

Post-Graduate(6,1):

1st -Brothwells WISSANT DEAR DARLIN – Blue 2yr old bitch of bitch of size. Decent head with enough neck. Enough lay back of shoulder. Good depth of chest and ribbing. Correctly coupled loin. Level topline. Correct turn of stifle would benefit from more muscle tone to firm up her rear movement. Turned out in nice coat & condition. RBOB.

2nd – Pearce’s KENWAD BLACK GROUSE AT MISKA JW – Black male longer cast than 1st, Decent head and dark eye with a pleasing expression. Straight forelegs of good bone and feet. Would prefer more depth of chest. Firm topline. Turned out well. Moving soundly.

3rd – Brown’s REEMIF BLUE VELVET AT POPEBEL

Limit(3,1):

1st - Hutton-Baber’s ESQUEEN FOLLOWING STAR AT BABTONKELPIE (IMP PLO) JW – Blue bitch 2yrs old, a bitch I have awarded BP to in the past. She is always presented in tip top condition by her owners, well done. Stacked she presents clean lines. Good reach of neck, well placed shoulder. Lovely bone and neat feet. Excellent spring of rib and short coupled body. Firm in topline. Correct tailset. Lovely quarters. Moving soundly fore and aft, my only criticism would be, I would prefer a slightly more refined headpiece, but she has a wonderful dark eye and kind expression.

2nd Brothwell’s WISSANT UPTOWN GIRL - Blue 3rd old bitch, pretty head, nice front angulation, short-coupled body with good depth of chest. Level topline. Needs more muscle to the quarters. Presented well.

Open(3):

1st Remington’s ROZAMIE BLACK PEARL JESSREMJUL – 2yr old Black bitch, who is of lovely breed type. Stood she presents a balanced outline. Lovely head of correct proportions, dark eye and melting expression. Best of front assemblies. Good bone. Good depth of brisket. Close fitting elbows. Super spring of rib and short muscular loin. Super rear angulation with good muscle tone. Presented in lovely coat & condition. Moving soundly & freely driving from behind when moved at the correct pace. BOB.

2nd Sewells WINTONIA HIDDEN GEM AT QUATTROZAMPE – 6yr old blue bitch of nice type. Good size. Decent head with correct eye colour and shape providing a kind expression. Good neck and well laid-back shoulder. Straight forelegs with good bone. Good spring of rib and correct short-coupled body. Firm topline. Enough muscle tone to the rear quarters, but slightly over angulated rear which unbalanced the overall picture. Moving soundly.

Jim Conway Memorial Open Stakes (22,10):

1st Ward’s SH CH DANTON OBESSION WITH TANTARAVIZ – 3yr old bitch of super breed type. Exquisite head, super reach of neck. Good front assembly. Lovely bone. Well sprung ribs. Firm topline. Thighs well developed with excellent muscle. Moving so gracefully around the ring.

2nd Sladden’s VALCOR THE CONFESSOR AT CANEMAMANS JW – 2yr old male upstanding dog who presents a clean outline. Super masculine head of correct planes, super chiselling below the eyes. Lovely soft expression. Short well-rounded neck on a nicely placed shoulder. Broad chest with good spring of rib. Well-muscled loin. Good bend of stifle. Moving freely with drive from behind.

3rd Clack’s BAZZY INTI ANKA AT MOLOKAIN (IMP CZE)
