GERMAN WIREHAIRED POINTERS

O (1) 1 O’Connor’s Karlejay Gump Circle Of Life, maturing well I liked her for size and type, good head shape, well furnished with pleasing expression. Ample bone, good ribbing and depth, correct coat texture, moved out soundly fore and aft BOB and shortlisted in a strong group.

FLATCOATED RETRIEVER

PG (2) 1 Walker’s Gloi Dubh Kristofer Robin JW appealing head and expression, strong neck of good length, stands on good legs and feet, well ribbed with short loin. Covers the ground well, shown in lovely condition. 2 Wild’s Bitcon Alliance With Bluewaters (AI) still a puppy but with much to offer, pleasing head shape, everything in right place for age, scores in angulation which showed in his free movement. BP and PG2

O (3,1) 1 Romeo-Dieste’s Hopevalley Morning Rainbow JW Super feminine head shape with kind expression. Good front with best of feet, well ribbed, short coupled with strong topline. Moved with reach & drive from strong hindquarters. BOB and G3

2 Walker’s Gloi Dubh Just One Look nicely moulded head with soft expression. Ample neck, correct front construction with deep chest, well muscled rear quarters. Liked him a lot but wasn’t as settled on the move.

PG (3,1)

1 Maskell, Rayner & Maskell’s Enjager Harmony With Brownbank JW presents a lovely outline when stacked, pleasing head with good eye, super bone and feet, deep chest and ample ribbing, sound, true movement holding a correct topline . Pushed hard for top honours. 2 Robson’s Kalimor Nancy At Robricci JW another quality girl. Gave her handler a hard time on the stack but settled on the move with good ground covering action.

O (3,1)

1 Robson’s Sh Ch Nemrac Connie At Robricci JW ShCM looking back I see I did her well as a youngster, she has matured into a lovely veteran and pleased to see she gained her title along the way. Super head, clean neck, good depth of body and well sprung ribs. Correct angulation fore and aft, moved soundly and true from well muscled hindquarters BOB 2 Balmer’s Mabanika Omega of good type just a little stronger all through, well angulated with good depth and ribbing. Moved soundly once settled.

AVNSC GUNDOG

P (1) 1 Taylor’s Maursett Madrigal (Clumber) 6 months baby of lovely breed type, pleasing head, good eye, ample bone and body properties for age. Moved out soundly BP

PG (4,1) 1 Wood’s Chanderhill Eagle Eye (SWD) nicely proportioned head, strong neck, straight well boned legs, well sprung ribs with ample depth, in full coat of correct texture. Sound, true mover. 2 Cox’s Cushatlaw Athena JW (GSP) loved her for size and type, ample bone and good feet, well bodied and lovely short harsh jacket moved true fore and aft but would prefer more propulsion. 3 Taylor’s Maursett Masikean (Clumber)

O (2,1) 1 Graham & Yarrow’s Sh Ch Bonapartist Pickpocket (Brittany) what a super example of the breed, he stands so true with lovely head and alert expression, cobby all through with good legs and feet, short backed, well sprung ribs, so sound on the move BNSC he didn’t put a foot wrong in the group and was delighted to award him G1 2 Tait’s Sh Ch Talintyre Winter Shadow (IRWS) easy to see why this boy has his title, masculine all through without any coarseness, most pleasing head and expression, lovely bone, deep chest, well muscled throughout, unlucky to meet winner on top form.

GUNDOG GROUP

A very nice group, I also shortlisted the GWP and Sussex for further consideration.

2 Calvert’s Sh Ch Calvdale Scaramouch Jones JW (ESS) well presented youngster with lovely head and expression, super bone and feet, moved out true fore and aft.

3 Romeo-Dieste’s Hopevalley Morning Rainbow JW (FCR)

4 Roberts Stormrose Sweet Wishes (Lab) lovely make and shape with pleasing head and soft expression, moved freely and soundly

GUNDOG PUPPY GROUP

1 Bacon’s Timbric Doris Day (Cocker) eye-catching young lady with everything in the right place for age. Compact with lovely ribbing and depth, stands and moves true keeping her topline and correct tail carriage.

2 Wild’s Bitcon Alliance With Bluewaters (AI) (FCR)

3 Whittingham, Bexon & Wright’s Diggmere Cortona Sofia Del Riccini (It Spin) Correct shaped head with lovely expression, strong throughout but retaining femininity. Moved out well once settled with correct topline.

4 Morris Norrayshas Madam Cholet At Mycalleys (Am Cocker) promising puppy, well made all through, very feminine and presents a lovely outline in the stack. Moved out positively.

V (6,1) 1 Chandler’s Sh Ch Chanangel Sticky Wicket JW ShCM VW (WSS) at nearly 12 years of age he really is a great ambassador for the breed, love his head and expression, super bone and feet, shown in tiptop condition, moves out soundly showing good reach and drive.
